Cannot recommend Tim enough! Went through quotes from several places, and Tim basically got the job done for less than half of some of those quotes. He only recommended what was needed, and did not try to up sell. I wanted to get the HVAC system replaced before moving into the new place, but had a ceremonial event a few days prior. Tim made sure to plan the installation date such that there would not be any interruptions or half done work or clutter during the ceremony. Then, on the day of installation (which was one day before my move in date) there were severe storms, and the entire neighborhood lost power. Tim and his boys worked in the dark using flashlights, the entire day, to ensure that the job got done! He then came back when we had power to make sure everything was working just right. Just to start, our problem occurred on a Wednesday evening after closing hours, and in my search this company showed up in a list of Yelp rated providers. I had called 3 other providers that was listed for my area and the answering service call center took my info and concern 3 times, However TAC was the only one that really tried to reach out to my need of service!! My first time using Yelp for local service. The owner reached out thru text messaging that evening and early the next day, we were able to schedule a troubleshooting call and within an hour the owner showed up to triage the issue, he was able to find the problem on the controller board and repair it saving several dollars!! I was so impressed by Tim and his company. One of my outbuildings had the AC unit quit on us last night. This is a building where we keep a few animals. With temperatures creeping up into the 90's again this week, I was in full panic mode. I initially called the company that had installed the system for our house... 4 day minimum wait. I then called a company who came highly recommended in my small community. They were willing to come out but balked when they heard there were animals in the building. You know, because of "allergies". I assume part of servicing residential areas means one will come into contact with pets... I then stumbled across a fantastic review for TAC. I almost got ripped off by a different HVAC company who wanted to charge $1,000 for a condenser fan motor replacement. Fortunately I called Tim. He and his sons came and found it was just the capacitor not the motor which saved hundreds. He offered to only charge me for a service call but I told him I'm more than willing to pay for honest and professional service. Just when you thought that both Customer Service & Customer Satisfaction was a lost art to the days of yesteryear, I have discovered a shining diamond in the rough when in comes to beyond outstanding Customer Care in my recent find of TAC Heating & Cooling (HVAC). The Master Technician's name is Tim Curry. He is as well the Owner of TAC HVAC. In the current subfreezing tempertures my furnace went out late one recent night and I was quite worried not only for myself but moreso concerned that my pipes would freeze up. I telephoned TAC HVAC late in the evening as my house had quickly dropped to a 40+ degree room temperature. I was once an HVAC Installer and since we were quite some distance apart Mr. Curry answered my call and quickly realized that I was quite frantic through it all and subsequently stayed on the telephone with me off and on throughout that night as together back & forth we explored in every way a diagnoses to fix the furnace in disrepair. Nevertheless, and without Mr. Curry here at the time I obviously did not have the HVAC service expertise to the extent needed in getting the furnace again operating. Here is the best part. After Mr. Curry helped me on the phone half the night and by no initiative from me, early the next morning I get a text message from Mr. Curry in the 7AM hour with the outside temperature near "0 Degrees". The text message from Mr. Curry was informing me that he was "on his way". He arrived as timely as was his text message and once here on site did quickly diagnose the problem and had the furnace up and running in incredibly short order. What's more, I actually believe that it now runs more efficiently as result of the incredible service performed thanks to Tim Curry and his Company "TAC Heating & Cooling". "5 Stars" for this Guy!!
