I truly cannot comment on the actual pratice just the front staff. I arrived early for my scheduled appointment and was asked for a copy of my insurance card which I had left my desk. The younger first lady on the left with colorful keyboard was the person who I encountered. (I say this after working in medical offices for 8 years but having an at least pleasant or neutral demeanor was always a requirement in any place I worked as the first impression and representation of the Doctors.) I let the lady know that I had left the card at home. I did have a secondary insurance card. She was very adamant that I needed the physical card for the first one or emailed digital. Problem solving- I asked her if I could give her the information verbally, and she had said no, she already had it from my referral, but she needed the physical card. (As somebody who has billed insurance also 8 years I don't understand this) I asked would it be possible for me when I ran home to send a picture of it and again response of no. The choice was bill my 2nd insurance (immediately would decline since its not primary and would need to refile.) Or come back. I then was able to pull up the website and show all of my information directly coming from the insurance website. She then said she still needed the digital card. I showed her where I pressed the digital card button and though it doesn't look like a physical card it has all the info on it. The same info that matches what my PCP already sent... The second older, more polished lady on my right sat down while we were discussing. The younger girl kind of seemed like she was asking her advice / complaining that I hadn't brought my things. She said well can I sent it when I get home? I said yes, I had offered that. The younger girl said a firm NO indicating I was lying to the colleague and I have never given that open in the 3 options and ideas I had given. I told the newer colleague she was kind (and she was, no issues) but I wasn't going stay after being accussed of lying. I left.

In all that time, I have never had a bad experience with him, his PA, his nursing staff or front office personnel (some of which have changed over the years.). If you want an ENT that takes the time to listen to the patients concerns and explains things in terms the patient can easily understand, Dr. Shah is the best. My opinion is not based on a single visit but on too many to count over the years. I highly recommend him.

The roads cut and swere very quickly off 99, so I ended up passing by the exit and turning around....and passing the road again that would take me to the favility because where I was asked to turn was an apartmenr complex. Lo ans behold the apartment complex and Kelsey Seybold literally share the same lot! Once I was parked, I entered in and scanned my qr code, which gave me a message as to what floor and area to wait for my appointment. I checked in at 2 but wasnt seen until 30 minites after checkin and my appointment was at 2:15. That wasnt a big issue to me. The waiting areas are spacious and quiet. Unlike some Kelsey locations that have only an attendant at the counter on the first floor, this location had someone on each floor for checkin which came in handy when I had to step to the restroom. I just told the front desk my name in case I was called while at the restroom. As far as the service and care from the doctor herself, I would rather save for a different review, but overall, this location is accessible and clean.

I usually only give reviews that are when I get above and beyond service. I came due to the special price on summer promo, and was hoping I would see results. Some of the things I appreciated: 1. Mayela gave me sound advice for my treatment and was honest. 2. She was very clear on the after care and follow up instructions. 3. Be ready to follow up, it's part of the protocol and you will be happier overall when you let her see her work, so she's satisfied with the results. 4. I went in with very realistic expectations because I've spent way more and looked overdone or lacking the right area for me; I was so pleasantly surprised at the difference after 5 days. Like I had surgery kind of work done, that kinda difference. 5. She has the expertise and just plain knowledge of how it all works, and now I really trust her. 6. I bought threads, Botox and Juvederm on a summer special and plan to follow up every 9 months to a year with Mayela for sure. She has a very good eye and also has the experience to know what works apparently. 7. It was a bit pricey but I will tell you that it was less than a plastic surgeon's nurse but more than a normal med spa, and I've tried both in the Woodlands. 8. If the Lake Conroe area seems too far, remember that you get what you pay for and who you pay for and Mayela is way worth it. 9.
