Never had a bad experience. The music is good, no dress code, bottle service, or VIP tables. Tickets are usually cheap

The rules are straightforward: 1. No alcohol 2. No gum 3. No photos or videos (... also the unofficial rule that the right side is the gay side and the left is the straight side by the end of the night. It's not an actual rule, but a cultural thing). Complaints about it being alcohol-free, having gum taken away, or being told to put phones away miss the point entirely. Those are exactly the kinds of behaviors the club is trying to filter out, and it's part of what makes the experience what it is. Don't go expecting a flashy or luxurious venue. There is no VIP area on purpose - everyone in the club is considered equal. The lighting is minimal, and the layout is simple... mostly a large seating area and a big dance floor. You're there for the sound system, which is arguably the best currently functioning club speaker system anywhere on the planet, and for the atmosphere, which is on another level. There's a reason it consistently ranks among the favorite venues of top DJs worldwide.

Surprisingly, bouncer is very nice and protecting our group until the basement section close around 2AM. Then we meet new friends that bring us to next building. This time we go up to upper level that has bigger room and variety of people and ages. Music is ok. Drinks at this dancing club are not that great and watery but as you expect we come here to dance so we don't really care. I don't know what time they close but we get out around 5 in the morning.

Music was way too loud for my opinion at least, also cocktails or drinks are pretty expensives but at least the music make me feel nostalgic since it mostly was early 2000 song which I grew up with and that's why I'm giving them a 3 stars . Without forgetting to mention at least when there barman only took cash and the card machine was broken which is kinda bummer

Hi Team, I am an ex-Montrealer. I moved to Toronto in the…read moremonth of July and went to Montreal for the pride parade in August. My trip was going to be from 1st August to 13th August but there was a incident which happened on 4th August which made me traumatized and I returned back to Toronto. So, basically me and 2 indians friends and 1 one from other country were at CLUB UNITY on Friday the 4th of August. We were in the line and when we reached to the bouncer he asked me if I have a reservation. I said no so he snatched me outside the line and said I cannot go in and nither my friends. I was like okay no problem then can I make a reservation? He said no. But he did not ask other people in the line for reservations and he was removing àll South asian people from the line. I asked a guy and a girl (caucasian) in the line if they have one and they said no and they said we can go without a reservation (I saw them getting in without being asked for a reservation just their ID). As well as on the website there was nothing mentioned and even club unity's Instagram. I called the customer service and she said we don't let anyone without a reservation but I told her that other people are going and she said no we need a reservation and the customer service was not helpful too. I have videos too where you can see that the people were not asked for the reservation except for brown skin. I am so upset because Unity was the club were I first went after coming out as gay. Later I put a review on google and the person from Club unity said I did not had a ID but that was never a case because if he asked me for a different ID then I would have given him. I honestly want justice and not someone responding with a rude too.

Drinks were ok, atmosphere and vibe were awesome. Sound was ridiculous, visuals were very top notch. Only bad thing was at one point a pepper bomb went off on the dance floor and it cleared out the whole club. We all were outside smoking cigarettes and griping, and then they let us all back in to fresh air and the show went on. Overall very fun night

The New Years Eve "Escapade" event at La Mouche was so unbelievably horrible that it defies words,…read morea scam so utterly crooked that it would make Bernie Madoff proud. Four other friends and I purchased the CAD$49.99 VIP ticket, which was supposed to include access to the club's main dance floor from 10 pm-3 am as well as unlimited access to a variety of drinks (including tips for the 20 bartenders). We arrived shortly before 10 to find hundreds of people already lined up in front of two different doors, with staff letting people in at a glacial pace. It eventually turned out that most of the people in our line, including us, were supposed to be in the OTHER line, a fact that no one bothered to tell us until around 30-45 min into the wait. Thus, we spent around a total of 1.5 hrs standing in the freezing cold (completely sober, I might add). When we finally got inside, we were met by complete chaos. Throngs of people were pushing past one another to check their coats, which cost at least $3. Apparently many of them (not unreasonably) thought that this fee was included in the $50. A small annoyance, to be sure, but because of it we only entered the dance floor with less than 10 min to the New Year. At long last, we told ourselves, the wait was over! Now was the time for partying and fun...but it was not to be. Inside the bars were a mob scene, with only around 3-4 bars and half a dozen bartenders. Worst of all, the bartenders completely ignored anyone who didn't flash money. Even bottled water couldn't be had without a two dollar tip...one girl who refused to pay was handed a plastic cup and told to go fill it up in a bathroom. Eventually I whipped out a $5 and somehow procured a round of shots for us after a 20 min wait. I'm not sure if they weren't being paid or were just plain greedy, but in any event we likely would have received better service at a prison mess hall. By 1 am we were so thoroughly let down and exhausted by the awfulness that we simply left and went back to our hotel. I say without a hint of exaggeration that this place ruined our New Years Eve, although fortunately our other nights in Montreal were a blast. I can't speak to how La Mouche is on regular nights, although I would advise any visitors to avoid this place at all costs. I intend to file a complaint with whatever Canadian government agency I can get to listen, because in my mind La Mouche and Keenest Productions perpetuated borderline fraud against 2000 people.

We had a mixed experience working with this company to plan our wedding at their Salon Richmond,…read moreand felt it was important to share. On the positive side, the space is stunning and the food was excellent - both were highlights for us. However, our experience on the planning side raised several concerns. Communication and expectations were unclear from the outset. We initially believed we would be working with one team member, but later learned that a different person would be managing our wedding, which was not clearly communicated and created confusion early on. Throughout the process, we found the planner's approach to be rigid and not particularly collaborative. We were open to guidance, but often felt that our preferences were dismissed in favor of doing things a specific way. During our tasting, for example, some of our menu selections (chosen directly from the venue's own offerings) were criticized as not being "classy" or "elegant," which felt inappropriate and unnecessarily condescending. There were also multiple instances that felt unprofessional, including meetings starting late and recurring interruptions during scheduled time together. We also encountered a significant issue regarding payment transparency for a vendor booked through the venue. A deposit we paid was invoiced as a payment toward the band, but was not fully applied as such, and this was not disclosed at the time of payment. The matter was only resolved after escalation. While it is clear that the team is capable of executing events, our experience did not reflect the level of professionalism, transparency, or care that is essential when planning a wedding. A wedding is not just another event, and the planning process requires a level of respect, communication, and client focus that we did not consistently experience here. Due to these concerns, we ultimately chose to move forward with a different venue, as we did not feel confident continuing with the planning process. Based on our experience, we would not recommend this venue for weddings. Couples should proceed with caution and ensure they have a clear, documented understanding of vendor payments, responsibilities, and expectations before committing!
