I have gone to this office a few times and the doctors & staff were really on top of things! I liked the place and the care I received. My whole family has been regular patients in this place. Recently, we received a very rude reminder about dental cleaning and a threatening message that if we don't schedule our last cleaning for the fiscal year, our account will be deactivated! What is that supposed to mean? I don't understand what kind of business this place is running if they think these kind of messages are going to bring more clients?! Quite the opposite! It is unheard of hygiene appointments to be required so patients can keep their account active! Usually, dental facilities and private offices send friendly reminders for the patients to take advantage of a covered by insurance dental cleaning since there are only 2 per year. The manager needs to really apologize to all patients who received this kind of unpleasant email or text message as this is really unprofessional and totally unacceptable! After all, there are at least 30 other dental offices in the areas near by Newton Corner, Watertown, Brighton and Waltham. This kind of treatment of the patients would completely drive them away! Dr. Anjomi has gone above and beyond to accommodate me with the fitting for teeth over implants. ( Implants were done by a different dentist not by Dr. Anjomi). Dr. Anjomi has been so very patient and understanding with my dental issues. She is articulate and so knowledgeable with her dentistry as well as being very caring and honest. I am new to this practice and it has exceeded my expectations. I've found everyone to be welcoming, professional and friendly and all communications have been detail oriented. The office is extremely clean and the decor is soothing. I had my initial intake appointment with Dr. Cowan's assistant, Stephany, and she was empathetic, kind, gentle and explained each phase of the intake process and was a great introduction to the practice! My cleaning was with Meghan and she is a wonderful hygienist. She was thorough, but gentle, and provided a relaxed and welcoming environment. I had a regular appointment that I had to move up into an emergency appointment. Dr Anjomi's staff was super accommodating and willing to fit me in the same morning. I was in a lot of pain with a nerve exposed and Dr. Anjomi was Swift and quick to get me checked out. She was also extremely helpful in finding me an Oral Surgeon in my network who would take me the same day (coz turned out that's what I needed). Great! I've been to a lot of dentists and this team is made up of a group of pros; front desk straight back to Dr. Anjomi! Loved the cleaning tools and the extensive photos they took of my teeth. It was so easy to follow as Dr. Anjomi explained what was going on in my mouth and what she recommended as "next steps". In addition to the professionalism there was zero pressure to have suggested procedures! Although it was easy to understand why the suggested procedures were needed. I am from California and was traveling to Boston and had a dental emergency with an abscessed tooth. Dr Anjomi was recommended to us by the hotel we were staying in. I was in so much pain I was desperate. I really got the jackpot with her! She is amazing! She worked me in, took time with me, was very kind and reassuring and referred me to an endodontist for urgent care who turned out to be fabulous! When I got back to my endodontist he confirmed all they had said was spot on (it ended up being very complicated). Absolutely great experience at the dentist, which I never thought I'd be able to say about a visit to the dentist! The office is beautiful, relaxing and clean. Very updated equipment - you see photos of your teeth and gums right after they take them and Dr. Anjomi explains exactly what's going on. I loved being able to put headphones on and pick a Pandora station (Jack Johnson is my personal recommendation!), which helped me relax and not focus on the sound of the dental cleaning. You can absolutely tell that Dr. Anjomi is undeniably knowledgeable in her field and the entire experience every time is professional and relaxing. My first visit was a consultation, and I swear I learned more about my teeth than I ever had before! I had a cleaning shortly thereafter, and the dental hygienist was efficient and super polite. AMAZING. Best dental office I have ever been in to date. Dr. Amoji is extremely friendly and the entire staff is welcoming right from the very beginning, whether you are entering the office for the first time or simply speaking to them on the phone. The office is extremely clean and relaxing. They are always trying to make you feel calm and will not move forward in any procedures if they sense otherwise. This is definitely a first for me where I was offered headphones and able to choose a pandora station to listen to while they were doing a cleaning. Moved here from another State and was very apprehensive about finding a new Dentist. My old Dentist was great. However, I had no idea this Dentist would top any dentist I have ever been too! Let me start this review by saying that my fear of dental work is surpassed only by my fears of cancer, ladders, and losing my hair. In other words, going to the dentist is normally not a pleasant experience for me. However, Dr. Anjomi, Linda, Ashley, and the rest of the staff have made me feel about 10 times more comfortable than I have at any other dentist.
