I do not know if this hotel is operational. When Benson Mines went under 15 years ago it was the first nail in the coffin, now the Newton Falls Paper Mill is permenently closed and the Black Clawsons to be auctioned off. Even the Post Office and 13666 is set for extinction end of this year. What a shame. This was a nice hamlet and an American values town. Now all the houses are leaning at a 45 degree and the school population thins out more every year. I sumered here in the 70's and miss those days dearly. I hope the people of NF can survive the devistation of business losses. read more

We visited Newton Falls,NY in Sept of 2011. Belonging to a historical society near Akron,OH I would love to see the hotel saved some way. We lost a mansion built by the founder of our town. It was torn down by the city and is really missed now. I was so intrigued by this piece of history that you have. It is a interesting little town. I was so sad to hear about the post office too. Now what brought us to Newton Falls,NY was that I spent most of my life in Newton Falls,Ohio zip 44444. I found it interesting that another town was called Newton Falls and had to see it. read more
