(Vehicle wouldn't drive over 10mph due to its' engine design) I also chose them because they offered free towing. I explained my problem on the phone and they said they'd do a diagnosis of their own. So had them come pick up my SUV. It took them a few days to figure it out, and they eventually they discovered it was the transmission not being able to go into 4th gear and confirmed that it was not my throttle body. Now, I needed my transmission rebuilt!! Since they had me up on the rack already and the car wouldn't drive, I didn't want to be without a vehicle for emergency reasons, so I agreed to their repair quote. (Seemingly way over priced @$99/hr labor charges). That took about a week to fix, and to their credit they even discovered that in the process of fixing it another transmission problem happened while they were repairing it and fixed that under their warranty. Much appreciated. While they had the vehicle I inquired about fixing a clicking noise from behind my dash dealing with the air flow actuators. They said they could fix it. They figured out what was wrong and got me a price -- a few hundred, but not bad considering, so I approved the additional costs. Here's how they lost 4 stars and any future business. When I came to pickup my SUV -- I noticed that the dash was damaged and had a long crack in it and a piece was chipped off. This was obviously from their attempts to diagnose and fix the air flow issue. The dash had clear signs of recent damage due to being forced or something stressing the plastic such as pressure from trying to pry off the trim, leaning or dropping something on it. When I asked them about it (Mike, owner or manager, not sure) - they said that they didn't break it and tried to explain where they actually did the work, which was in the driver's leg area. I assured them that it was not broken when the took possession of the vehicle. They refused to take ANY responsibility!!! When I pushed if they could get a replacement part they refused. Mike said they'll install the part for me for free if I found the part. They wouldn't even consider reimbursing me for the part. WTF sort of Bull Sh*t is that? So, if they accidentally punctured my gas tank would that would be my problem too??? NO! I bet they would fix it on their own and chalk that up to cost of doing business. Subsequently -- when I got home and researched how to remove this trim part - found out that it's a very easy process to remove it. It was obvious that they had NO CLUE on how to remove the trim to access behind the dash, and probably didn't even attempt to look it up online. I also discovered that a 2nd piece of trim was also damaged in attempting to make the quested repair. The worst and most insulting unprofessional part of all this is that they didn't even have the balls to let me know this happened in advance. What did they think - I wouldn't see a crack on my dash that I drive daily?? So Mike -- what do you have to say about this? It will be a cold day in hell before I use them again. I suggest you stay away too.

So, let's begin, I saw a car on CarGurus and really liked it. I decided to check it out at the dealership and noticed it wasn't a big box dealer but a small business dealer. I really liked this car so I thought I'd check it out anyway. Upon arriving I saw the car in the parking lot talked with Moises and took the car for a test spin. I honestly hate when a dealer has to go with Ya for you really don't get to check the car out in detail as you like. However, it was a nice ride. So, after we took it for a ride, I decided I wanted it. So, I filled out paper work and had to wait Before I left, he said don't worry these keys are yours. First mistake never make a statement like that to get peoples hopes up which I did and then the letdown. I was denied! I was shocked being that my car I bought 5 yrs. ago was almost paid off and my credit was in mid 700's and low cc bills. So, I was very disappointed. However, in a few days I received an email from CarGurus about selling my car online and they offered me $5925 for it and I was shocked. So, the dealer only wanted to give me $700 for my car so I snatched it up and called Moises back to see if car was avail and it was. I told him the good news and we set up a time for me to come and purchase the car. Ok so here it begins, the nightmare! So, they work with a bank online and I practically had a script of what I had to say in order for the deal to go through. This was my first ummm moment. I gave the dealer $3500 as a down payment on a $9000 car. I had to wait to be approved by this online bank so I had to wait again. So, I left and when I got the call from the bank, they told me they could only finance me a little over the $7000 mark. So that left an amount that I would then have to pay again on top of the $3500 i already gave. I was upset because I was told this was a done deal with no issues. So, I agreed to it with the understanding with the dealer I could pay it in installments and he was like oh sure we work with Ya. So, I went to pick up the car of which I told him I would be there at 9am when he opens and he was 45 min late. I had to then wait for the battery to be jumped which was told to me because it had been sitting for a while. Finally, we were set. I left the dealership and realized NO GAS! Really it was on E. I had to fill her up, the car wasn't washed or cleaned either. Something I am used to having done when I buy a car. I got home and the battery died! I called the dealer and they said they would get someone to help me out. Well, I tried to jump it only to see that this battery should have never left the dealership. It was so corroded no wonder why I had an issue. So, the car windows were open and a dead battery and now it's raining. We waited all day long and nobody came. After numerous calls he personally came after he closed the dealership at closing time to come and replace the battery. I then was in the process of moving only to never get my registration, he never took pic of old plate that was transferred so I have been waiting for it and then he tells me I need to take pic to send to him so he can send registration. Really? So, I had been waiting all this time for nothing and now the paper tag is only a mere two days away from expiring and now I can't drive the car. Then I was given the message of having to pay 50% of what I owed and then in two weeks another payment. I was like we discussed this and I was told I could have time to pay off the extra that he failed to add that I was going to have two payments on this one car. It's been very upsetting. I then had an oil change because I was getting ready to move and luckily, I did because it was dry no oil which cost me over $135, then the wind shield washer sprayer failed to work and now the check engine light is on! Now I was told my sticker for the expired plate was being held ransom until they got the payment before they would mail it out. Seriously! I have never in all my life experienced this If you plan on buying here check everything out!!!!!!!!! Everything all the nuts and bolts for they are just selling cars and don't care about those customers that are left stranded due to their ignorance! I for one will never buy a car here again. Worst experience I have ever had and I have bought numerous cars in my past! Oh, and the pic with the dealer I never received. I also was told due to our inconvenience I would receive a gift certificate due to the issues, needless to say I NEVER RECEIVED ONE! Lies, lies, lies just to sell a car. Just another used car sales man. Go with a better dealer! Don't get pulled in by his niceness and were here to help you attitude and not like other dealer crap, they are all the same- SUCKER PUNCHED here! I will definitely go back and the customer service was wonderful, the place is very clean and even had refreshments to offer and . The lady in the back I can't remember her name, but she also was very friendly; it seems to be a family owned place, which I like. This place will scam you.. I have spent $22,000 in the last…read morefew months fixing problem after problem with my van .. Every time I would get something fixing another problem would arise a fee days later and I would bring it back in and it ended up costing me about $22,000 in total over about 2 months The last problem i had was supposedly a transmission line broke and the transmission needed to be rebuilt that cost about $6,500 I was without my van for well into 3 weeks because they said they were waiting for a part to come in for my transmission rebuild.. I finally got my van back and immediately started having problems with the way it was going into gear and shifting.. So I brought it to a dealership to get it looked at because I was tired of dealing with this mechanic shop and the amount of money I have spent there trying to get my van to work properly..it should practically be a new van .. the ac was the first job done and still having problems with that after them charging me $3,000.. Anyway back to the transmission rebuild.. Once I brought it to the dealership ,the dealership found that Empire auto care installed a junkyard Transmission in my van that had altered vin numbers and they charged me for a rebuild.. They knowingly installed a junkyard Transmission with altered vin numbers ( ground off ) with green spray paint.. Its a federal offense to tamper with any vin numbers on any Vehicle Motor Transmission I have filled a police report and filed a report with the attorney General office .. I have also hired an attorney as this place needs to be held accountable for what they have done .. This is fair warning to anyone reading this not to use this place as they come across nice but will cut corners and deceive you for profits .. They only offered to install a new transmission after getting caught so they could cover up the fact they defrauded me out of thousands of dollars... What they did to me is criminal and will be dealt with accordingly.. I would never use this place or refer them to anyone.. I don't care what it cost me they will be dealt with for doing what they did..
