I was over life! that's when he offers to do an oil change for me it was past due. Fast forward to Jan. my check engine light came on took to advanced It said Tran E solenoid, henry tells me bring it in had my car almost 2 months it's in the back of yard nothing is being done to it I'm having to call him and get updates by now. I am no longer working at the restaurant and the house I was living in with the mold where I had to leave my dogs. The owner suddenly passed away February 9 now I'm faced with having to find a place that will accept to pitbulls along with no income car payments are getting behind I owed $1140. He talks me into putting a mechanics lien on my car to help me get on my feet. It's wrong it's fraud but I was desperate I agreed I find out from a letter when I go to take my dogs out of the moldy house that they're still living in that the bank has possession of my vehicle. He didn't even call me to tell me they picked it up. They paid $5700 for my car that he did not fix not to mention when I drop the car off I left them with $150 , at this point, I go by the shop and that's when he tells me he has cancer with his red blood cells. I asked what kind he gives me no name tells me he has to contact his company and he will call me tomorrow at this point he still not contacting me. I show up at the shop again. I'm told he didn't show up. He's in the hospital. I park around the corner five minutes later only to see Henry pull up to lock up his shop , he took me on a high-speed chase at one point I even asked him to not put the lien on it or withdraw it. Wow! Amazing service from the team at Auto Star…read more I drove in around 10:30 AM and asked if they could check my A/C. Two super friendly mechanics immediately came out with their equipment and started diagnosing the issue while I was there watching. They explained everything clearly throughout the process. They first confirmed it wasn't the Freon, then checked the fuses (which were good), and finally tested the compressor electrically. As expected, the compressor was shot. They didn't have the part on-site, which is understandable with how many different cars are on the market today, but they still gave me a fair price right within the expected range for my make, model, and year. By 2:14 PM, they called to let me know the car was ready. They also noticed my maintenance light was on and took care of the oil change before pickup. On top of that, they gave me honest recommendations for future services and explained what warning signs to keep an eye on. I appreciated that they weren't pushy, especially since I couldn't afford additional work at the moment. Overall experience: 5 stars. I feel confident in the work performed and trust the team's recommendations. It also feels great knowing the job was done professionally instead of having to rely on someone working out of their backyard on spare time. Thank you to everyone at Auto Star. I did not find the same type of service lately at the Depot, so I asked a coworker where did he get his car serviced. He quickly told me about the Autobahn Connection. He was thrilled to share with me how great Doug was and what to expect. So, I made an appointment. While making the appointment for service, Doug asked all the right questions to make me know that he is a knowledgeable mechanic. He knows his stuff. Too make it even better, when I showed up, Ariel got my keys and stated that Doug would get back to me on final details (this is nothing like the other shop that I will not name anymore). My car is running like new. Everything was checked--things that didn't even mention. Doug even checked my warranties to make sure that I would not be charged for items that I could get for free---HONESTY!! He went out of his way to make sure that he could save me money. That is so hard to find in any business, but especially in car service. I am now a Autobahn customer with the top technician in the South Florida area for as long as I have my car.

The service desk has a new person who's more interested in their phones than actual services for people. They will give you estimates but not really explain the why and how. Im not a business owner but If I want people's business I would push more info on the cars issues. Maybe they will improve. Or maybe they just don't need business that bad. Transmission problems! I had several people recommendations me to Paul's Transmission for work and…read morethus I used their services twice. I had a 2019 Ford Transient Connect and then brought in my Nephews 2007 Dodge 3500. Dale, the owner and his Son treated me like a long lost friend and are real square shooters and gave honest advice in regard to my equipment. I'm an Aircraft technician for a major airline and former Fireman / truck maintainer so I have a good idea what's going on! Dale was beyond fair with me and saved me Thousands in repairs With good advice to his detriment. Example, He could have fixed my Ford Transient Connect costing thousands but advised me "the transmission overall a defective design, I should get rid of it and sell it as is. " I traded it to car dealer and a year latter I received notice from Ford regarding it's transmission replacement.  I saw the review below involving the guy with the 1975 Eldorado and asked Dale about it. As an aircraft mechanic for 42 years, I can tell you as a technician we are not perfect all the time and sometimes things go wrong. Even the owner of the 1975 Eldorado admited it "Serious mistake but things happen". To me, It's how you recover from your mistakes that count! After speaking in depth with Dale about the issue and the video and photographic evidence he presented me, I feel Dale went above and beyond to remedy his mistake and fairly assuage a unsatisfied customer. However, as a Technician I have found in Life there are people you just can't make happy or they want things for free. I now have a friend and Transmission go to guy!
