I called the office with my limited availability last week, and they were able to accommodate us and put us on the schedule this week. Dr. Mansoureh Yavari examined and treated both my daughters and me. My daughters, ages nine and four, had fillings done for the first time! My initial nervousness about my kids' behavior was quickly dispelled by the calm and patient approach of the dental assistant. Dr. Yavari's gentle and understanding manner with my girls, along with her clear explanations, made us all feel at ease and confident in the care provided. She also gave my four-year-old a break when she felt overstimulated and started becoming wiggly. Dr. Yavari has seen many of my family members. I have heard great things about her kindness and patience with children and the excellent outcomes of their dental treatment experiences. UPDATED REVIEW - Dr. Yavari contacted me personally & immediately after I had left my review. Completely unexpected & very much appreciated. Some businesses/doctors don't even waste their time to respond back to patient reviews. Which shows she genuinely cares about her patients & takes her business very seriously. Right off the bat, she apologized to me profusely & addressed all my concerns. In which I reassured her, it was nothing SHE did personally or professionally. I was just upset how my file was handled. As I mentioned in my previous review, everything was of standard when it came to my son. It was just my file that was wasn't getting treated the same. My sister, my little brother, my niece, & my nephew all come here. They have continued to do so within the last years with no issues. Someone just dropped the ball on me. Mind you, this review was for a visit I made in 2023 but I finally got the chance to get around to writing as of recent. Dr. Yavari mentioned they had the pre-auths for my insurance & unsure why it wasn't brought to my attention each time I mentioned it. Again, NOT HER FAULT. When I said it was ok - she said it was not & took full accountability for her staff. She never placed blame & took ownership stating it's HER staff so it's just as much her fault as it is anyone else's. I work in management & that is a prime example of true leadership. You all know everyone loves to point fingers! Dr. Yavari mentioned staffing & protocols have now changed since my last visit in 2023. She requested me to give her practice another chance & to call back on the following Monday to set up an appt. Monday comes, I forget but I get a call from her staff as a kind reminder. I wanted to wait a few treatments to revise my review to ensure my updated review was honest as it could be. I've been to her office 3xs now since I last left my review & have future appts scheduled. My experience has been night & day compared to my last visit in 2023. This is all I wanted from the beginning! Communication, follow-ups, & knowledge of my chart. Dr. Yavari did offer to compensate me for my inconveniences & just to make things right. Which was never my intention. I wasn't looking for any hand outs. Her genuine apology did right by me as it was. As of my 3 visits, everything has been well. Besides my interactions with one staff member that I vividly remember from my initial visit in 2023. But that does not reflect Dr. Yavari, her work, nor her practice. Which is why I am changing my 1 star to 5 stars. One bad apple can't ruin it for the rest of the bunch. Dr. Yavari has always been kind, pleasant, & easy to work with since I first visited her office. She's soft to the touch & not aggressive. Which is why she is great at what she does & works with pediatrics! Who loves going to go to the dentist? No one, but we all have to do it. They wanted me to pay 30.00 for a small bottle of Peridex which almost all insurance covers. When I told them I'll take a prescription for it they tried saying insurance doesn't cover it. I work in the dental field and know it does and was persistent with the prescription. The staff in the back were unprofessional and I could hear them talk very rudely of other patients. And for the consultant that said my son needed bone graph after a wisdom tooth extraction well let's just say they sure are trying to make as much money as possible from the people that fall for it. No need for a bone graph in the wisdom teeth site! The front office staff was amazing if I could rate them only they would get 5 stars. Very friendly and communicative.
