I called the office with my limited availability last week, and they were able to accommodate us and put us on the schedule this week. Dr. Mansoureh Yavari examined and treated both my daughters and me. My daughters, ages nine and four, had fillings done for the first time! My initial nervousness about my kids' behavior was quickly dispelled by the calm and patient approach of the dental assistant. Dr. Yavari's gentle and understanding manner with my girls, along with her clear explanations, made us all feel at ease and confident in the care provided. She also gave my four-year-old a break when she felt overstimulated and started becoming wiggly. Dr. Yavari has seen many of my family members. They wanted me to pay 30.00 for a small bottle of Peridex which almost all insurance covers. When I told them I'll take a prescription for it they tried saying insurance doesn't cover it. I work in the dental field and know it does and was persistent with the prescription. The staff in the back were unprofessional and I could hear them talk very rudely of other patients. And for the consultant that said my son needed bone graph after a wisdom tooth extraction well let's just say they sure are trying to make as much money as possible from the people that fall for it. I don't recommend this dentist office at all! They have way too many patients and they must have a pact with La maestra clinic and other clinics with patients with Medical. Every time I went in for an appointment they make you wait up to 1 hr or more to get you in, and while there I would see all the new patients checking in and asked by the receptionist who referred them that's how I know . They only have 1 dentist which it's the Owner Dr.Yavari and way too many patient for just 1 dentist. I started going there since they opened it and everything looked nice and new. We went in Thursday to perform the procedure my child needed and it was very obvious that we were not going to be able to get it done, Dr. Yavari didn't try to push my child her and her staff did everything to reassure her talked through each step, in a way a 4 year old could understand, and when she still wasn't ok they backed off and decided it was best to try another method at a later time.
