Bill (the owner) made it perfectly clear to us that our puppy would be between 11 and 17 pounds as an adult and that it's difficult to know for sure. She is now 13 pounds and we couldn't be happier. Since most of their puppies are "hybrids" meaning a mix of two breeds it is difficult to know for sure which breed will be dominate. Ours is a Havanese and Maltese mix so it's a "Havamalt". They DO allow you to handle the puppies even if you aren't going to buy! We were in there 10 times over 2 months playing with different puppies until we decided. They obviously won't allow unsupervised children to play with them and obviously non-serious buyers. Our puppy did NOT come from a puppy mill. We verified it. Our dog is the smartest dog I've ever owned and most healthy. We also love the groomer there. She does the best job and the price is great. She is friendly, efficient and on schedule. Our dogs love going there and are never stressed when groomed. As a matter of fact, we were there today!

And in this review I will tell you why. A few years back I had purchased a self cleaning litterbox for my cat and it has worked wonderfully. It is so easy to use and my cat seems to appreciate the lack of need to remind me to clean it so often. Everything was going so smoothly until recently. It was at this location that I realized that I am running out of luck for this litterbox. The company that made it has decided to discontinue it. Not only the litterbox itself, but all the items that are a necessity to continue using the litterbox. I.e., waste receptacles and carbon filters. I went right to the litterbox section only to find that nothing by the company exists in the store anymore. The one thing about this litterbox was that it was basically sold exclusively at Petco, or you could go online in hopes to find it on Amazon or their website. Not the case anymore. I even rummaged through their small clearance section in hopes to find anything that remained in store, no luck. At that point I was ready to leave. No more litterboxes, litter, waste receptacles, or carbon filters. Feel like I'm being forced to purchase a newer self-cleaning litterbox at this point. I will find a work around as the litterbox is one of the more expensive side.
