He took the time to explain the systems, the differences, and his honest opinion like a true advisor. That conversation alone earned our trust. From that point on, Freddy's responsiveness, expertise, and customer-first approach stood out at every step. This was a big project -- we installed a 4-ton Carrier Infinity heat pump and air handler, redid all of our ducting, and even had asbestos abatement completed beforehand. Freddy guided us through each stage, setting clear expectations and putting us completely at ease. (The abatement team he brought in was also excellent -- clean, professional, and efficient.) On installation day, his crew showed up bright and early and got right to work. They operated like a true team -- focused, coordinated, and clearly proud of their craft. With Freddy's hands-on leadership and attention to detail, they finished this massive job by around 2 p.m. -- we had expected it to take two full days! That saved us valuable time as we were trying to move in on a tight schedule. After getting multiple estimates, we can confidently say AC King offered a great mix of expertise, communication, and fair pricing. Jimmy is a professional, a man of God, a pererson with integrity, and a humble heart. Quickly did he offer to make things right and I gladly gave him the opportunity. He checked my file and clarified the financing wonky loan statement by the finance company. Everything was cleared after I spoke with the goofy finance company. Once arrived, he was able to identify the problem, which was electrical related, and had the air back on within 30 minutes. He determined that there was no leak of refrigerant at all, but a simple electrical problem. Within four hours, Marlon showed up and had the necessary part on his truck to get me back online for which I am eternally grateful. However, he brought back down from the roof, pictures of rust, oil leaks and a few burned-out resistors along with detailed explanations of where things were headed with likely steep replacemet/repair costs in the future. Not only so, but the refrigerant in my a/c unit was no longer a legal replacement in California, should leaks occur there. The motor bearings were becoming noisily worn as well. From the very first Saturday contact with a call from James within 10 minutes of my YELP request, to the field visit from Marlon on the same day, to the installatin of a brand new heat pump system only two days later on Monday by two guys up on the roof enduring the at-least 106-degree brutal temperatures, and the skillful crane operator who clearly knew what he was doing, the professionalism, great care and willingness to get it all done right was seamless and unwavering.
