Shyana was extremely rude and inept in administering an IQ test. We were never told that an IQ test would be performed. My daughter has a 140 IQ, and she was tested by a real doctor! Shyana proceeded to give verbal feedback after each question, and told my daughter she was incorrect about the capital of Italy being Rome. She also told her that Dr. Martin Luther King was not a philanthropist! A philanthropist is the very first thing you will read about MLK! This employee was aggressive and completely incompetent. My daughter asked for a place to set her purse, with a cleared table beside her, Shyana told her to put her purse on the floor. Prior to this appointment, Danny told my daughter that they would make a cup of coffee for her after the "brain mapping" was performed. In return, Shyana was aggravated with her that she had no brought her own coffee to the appointment. On January 9th, the office manager (Danny) promised not to bill my daughter's insurance, and to refund the $65.00 copay. Instead, this office did a "cut and run" DOUBLE billing Blue Cross Blue Shield, and they kept my copay!! Dr. Crum never returned my call to discuss this matter. It is quite apparent that Dr. Crum is shirking her responsibility in favor of unskilled, uneducated employees who have no clue what they are doing. How these vicious, cruel people sleep at night knowing that they are ripping people off is beyond comprehension. Shameful!

This was our first visit to see the Dr. He wrote refills for all his medications except the anxiety medication. When I questioned this, He said: I'm taking him off of it. It was a high dose, but he didn't tell us about this. I said doesn't that have to be tapered ? Very hurriedly He wrote down a quick three day taper. Medication at this high of a dose would take a long time to taper off from. According to other psychiatrists. Then he made a cutting of the neck gesture and said then you will be off of them. I just stood there in shock. We never went back again.

I paused confused and asked him if he was serious. He said yes and he had a waiting room full of patients to see. I was in shock and couldnt believe the insensitivity he showed me within the first minute being in the room with him. These types of appointments are already tough enough for most, so an insensitive, pompous, rude, unprofessional psychiatrist is not what will help a patient in need. He literally should work as a pain management doctor and just write unwarranted prescriptions all day without asking questions because he has no interest in truly helping the patient and trying to land an accurate diagnoses. I was one sick puppy!…read more I spent almost a week in the hospital. Then, three weeks at inpatient rehab. Now at least a month going to outpatient rehab and that's where these fine folks come in. Heads up! - Two reviews (Lee Y & Tito R) are incorrectly posted and belong with the hospital across the street. Process- Before my 1st appointment, they texted me an online registration link. This minimized the paperwork and was much appreciated! Appointments run on time which is delightful! Atmosphere- This is a big place with all the rehab bells and whistles for both PT and OT. Masks are required and they clean equipment a lot! Customer Service- The two service folks that have touched me have been friendly and efficient. For consistency, I requested that I have the same therapist each visit and they happily accommodated me! Therapists- My guy has been awesome. He likes to set objective goals and he clearly explains the "why" of every exercise. In addition to getting better, I'm learning a lot! These folks are part of the Advent Health System which I use quite a bit. They are great choice for outpatient rehab in Highlands County.

I went in for an ultrasound and ended up in the ER. Yes, the staff is worn out in places - they have been in a war. Still, I received all the treatment I needed. The operating room was beyond overbooked. So, I had to wait a day for my surgery. I was kept out of danger with antibiotics. EVERY staff member was a true hero. I know many of them were working after having had COVID and still came back. So, after waiting a day, I was the only one in pre-op. I went almost right in and EXPERT surgeons saved my life. Turned out it was worse than they first thought and the antibiotics had really been needed. After surgery, I was treated for another three days and EVERY test and procedure was done. I have been in this hospital with my family a few years back and it's not the same - it's rougher around the edges. THE WHOLE WORLD is rougher around the edge.
