My outlets outside the porch and second story that I had plugged Christmas decorations went out. I called Next level electric and talk to the owner, John. He was Great! He had me check out out my GFI's. Check the downstairs bathroom for GFI and in the garage. I was on the phone while he was explaining this to me. He did this to SAVE me the cost of a service call. Low and behold, my outlets from outside and in the garage were working. John said to cover the connections with cellophane to prevent water entering the connection that's leads to the outlet. I want to highly recommend Next Level Electric for your electrical needs. John installed a very high-end pendant light in my entry way to the second floor ceiling. It was a very complicated install that took several hours and he had to do it without instructions since I purchased the light used. He was very detail oriented in his work and made sure to get everything lined up just right. When the moment of truth came and the light was hung, it was the perfect height, all three airline cables lined up, and the electrical cable coming down the middle was just the right length. There wasn't much room for error since the light weighed about 40 lbs and the cables were already cut, so it was imperative that they get it right the first time. I couldn't be happier with the final result. I should also mention that John and his helper Kyle were also very friendly and courteous, and cleaned up after themselves, including wiping down the light fixture and some marks on the ceiling. I have worked with John before when he was over at Swift Electric, and am so happy to see him out on his own at Next Level Electric. We are very pleased with the services provided by Next Level Electric! We had another company come do a consult at our home and they never presented us with a quote even though we reached out multiple times. That was the complete opposite with Next Level! I simply sent an email with pictures of our lights that needed to be replaced and got a quote! They were able to provide services within that same week (very quick considering the holidays)! John and the guys (Taylor and Kyle) at Next Level Electric installed recessed lighting in the living room, dining area and kitchen of our Stonehedge home. They did a wonderful installation job. The shallow vaulted ceiling, lack of attic space and placement of firewalls presented challenges which the crew overcame to install lights that provide great LED lighting overall-no more trying to light this space with inadequate lamps! All the lights are dimmable so we can adjust the lighting to our needs. And the patch and paint work will be minimal thanks to their careful installation. Absolutely, unequivocally top notch company and I just can't "plug" them enough. I have used John for electrical work on my home in the past. He is honest, professional and incredibly knowledgeable about all things electric. That's just the way he is "wired." This time around, I was having security cameras hard wired into my home. Plus, installing a couple of motion detecting flood lights for added safety. When I bought my security cameras, The Geek Squad from Best Buy really wanted to come out to give me a free estimate for the camera installation. Even though I told them I already had my own electrician, I allowed them to provide an additional quote (couldn't hurt right?). Their quote was MORE EXPENSIVE then the quote from Next Level for only about 65% of the work (I didn't even ask them about the flood lights). I was like "Watt!" Well I'm dusting off the mothballs for this one. We have a house that was built in the 50's like most people do in Los Angeles that always needs some kind of repair. Usually we plan these repairs and sometimes we don't, like when our light switch burst into flames and summoned the fire department. After lengthy warning from our local FD to get the electrical system checked out ASAP, we contacted our friends for an electrician recommendation since we didn't want to get gouged on price. I'm glad we were directed towards Next Level Electric and John who works there. John made the time to drive out that night and fix the burnt-out switch for a very reasonable price.
