My experience at Next Level Physical Therapy was truly... next level. I'm 44 years old, and I've lived with chronic pain since elementary school. For as long as I can remember, I thought it was normal to feel uncomfortable every day. If there's a joint in my body, it's probably locked up at some point and sent pain radiating elsewhere. I just pushed through and accepted it as part of life. That changed the moment I walked in. During my consultation, the physical therapist told me something I had never heard before: it's not normal to live in that much pain--and most of my issues are actually fixable. I honestly couldn't believe it. But I trusted the process, and even during that initial evaluation (not even full treatment yet), they were able to release a significant amount of my pain. By the time I left, I was already feeling dramatically better. The staff is exceptional. Emma at the front desk is incredibly kind, efficient, and welcoming--she made everything seamless from the moment I walked in. Tricia went above and beyond, not only with her knowledge but by helping me clearly understand how to communicate with my doctor so I could get the correct prescription for treatment. That level of care is rare. And I have to mention something small that made a big impression: the paperwork. It was simple, streamlined, and took less than five minutes. No repeating the same information over and over like most medical offices. It sounds minor, but it speaks volumes about how well this place is run. My therapist was outstanding, and I even had the chance to meet other therapists I'll be working with--they were all friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping people heal. The entire environment is positive and energizing. You can feel it the second you walk in--patients are happy to be there, which says everything. The most incredible part? I left with about 75% less pain. And for the first time in over 20 years, I've had multiple days where my body actually feels good. I now look forward to my weekly appointments, which is something I never thought I'd say about physical therapy. I cannot recommend Next Level Physical Therapy enough. If you've been living with pain and thinking it's just "normal," do yourself a favor and go. It might just change your life like it's starting to change mine. read more

I'm giving this place 3 stars. Mainly because Debbie is a good physical therapist and I can tell she knows what she's doing and cares, but she seems stretched way too thin. During my visits, she was often working with multiple patients at the same time, which made the experience feel more like a high-volume clinic than personalized care. At my second appointment, I spent about 30 minutes with her before being handed off to an aide for exercises. After finishing, I was left waiting for several minutes without direction, and then set up on an EMS machine with heat. The aide asked me where she should place the nodes, which I found surprising--I would expect the staff to already know where treatment should be applied based on my condition, or at least the Physical Therapist should let her know. Meanwhile, Debbie had already moved on to another patient. I also didn't have a great experience at the front desk. She comes across a bit gruff and not as friendly. When I arrived for my second appointment, there wasn't any greeting--just a quick "what's your name?" It felt a bit abrupt and impersonal, especially since they had just seen me a couple days prior and have my name down at the appointment time. The clinic itself is a wide open space, which may work for some people, but for me it lacked privacy and made it easy to hear other patients' conversations, which I don't really want to hear especially when I'm in pain. Overall, I think the quality of care could be good, but mostly the environment and structure made it feel rushed and not very personal. It just wasn't the right fit for me. read more

Jared, Brian and all the aids are top notch. I went from having almost no strength to doing push up within 5-6 weeks. I had a severe motorcycle crash that earned me 13 2" screws in my humorous and proximal. They're knowledgeable and their hands on stretching/massaging is very helpful. Finally, freedom to sit up without terrifying the neighbors, freaking out dogs, and breaking windows from my blood-curdling shrieks! Jared, Brittney, and Jennifer are friendly, engaging, and professional. The Canyon Country location is calming and productive. You will receive hands-on attention and physical therapy tailored to your individual needs. I was also given exercises I could do at home and at my gym that were specific to my injury. NEXT LEVEL is not like other places that have you do what everyone else is doing, over and over again yielding minimal results, if any. This prac is the best in SCV. I attended a few different ones and this one is by far the best out of all of them. The team from the front desk to the Therapist are excellent. They legitimately go above and beyond in scheduling, rescheduling, dealing with my doctor's office for insurance and reports. Without question, the staff and facilities at Next Level are absolutely the most welcoming and best in Santa Clarita! In August 2025, I had a bilateral anterior hip replacement. When I was getting ready to transition from in-home physical therapy to outpatient PT, I asked my in-home therapists for their recommendations. They both enthusiastically recommended Next Level! From the initial phone call, to my first appointment, and continuing through twice-weekly PT sessions, Next Level's staff have been among the most caring, professional, knowledgeable, and compassionate I have ever known. I'm 71, and was just happy to walk without pain, but Dr. Brian and Frankie work with me every session to increase my flexibility and mobility, with the goal of achieving optimum health. It's not always easy, but their unwavering encouragement and commitment to my well-being make me want to meet and exceed whatever challenge they give me. This is actually for thier Canyon Country location on Sierra Hwy. NLPT is a great place for your physical therapy treatment. It a smaller facility than Vargo for example. Thats a good thing. All I can say is: IF you are going to (or have EVER gone to) any other Physical Therapy company's besides NEXT LEVEL on Lyons Ave; you are doing "YOURSELF" a major disservice! I have been to 4 different places for 3 different surgeries. I started feeling a sharp insane pain in my "right" shoulder and went to a shoulder specialist. After having an MRI I was told that I have a very badly torn rotator cuff which WILL require surgery. I had it and it took well over a year and a half of PT to get back to normal. NOW.... TO THE MAIN REASON FOR THIS REVIEW! I have now torn my "left" rotator cuff. I went to my shoulder surgeon and after the MRI he said "it's not as bad as the other shoulder was but we still need to do the surgery. I started to cry remembering the pain and how long it took to heal that I had to think about when and if I can take the time and/or have the strength to do it. I talked to one of the therapist's (Brian) at NEXT LEVEL and he said he heard of a surgeon that was quite a bit younger and may have some new solutions or possible techniques that might be better for you. I made an appointment right away. WOW, it was 6 wks out just for the appointment! I thought if he's that busy he must be really good. Well, he spent 10 minutes with me and sent me for an MRI. 3 weeks later I saw him again (another 10 minute visit) and said that he can replace the shoulder in 6 to 8 weeks. I got another prescription for physical therapy to help with the pain until the surgery and here we are today...... *NO SURGERY* AMY (the owner of Next Level), BRYAN, DEBBIE, MATT, JARED, & COURTNEY have been working on me 1-2 times a week since then. I can now take an easy swim, throw a baseball with my son as well as many other things as long as I'm mindful and take it easy WITH-OUT- PAIN!!! Highly personable, the staff is caring, respectful and individualizes treatment according to the patient's needs and goals rather than taking a "one size fits all" approach. I had a partially torn tendon and sprained ankle. Brian was excellent coming up with a treatment plan and exercises for me to do at home. I had been advised by a couple of doctors due to my ongoing tendon issues I would need surgery, but I was able to heal without surgery with the help of Next Level PT. They have been treating my daughters ACL and meniscus knee injury from sports for the last 8 months since her knee surgery and her knee has gotten stronger and healed greatly. Incredible physical therapy group. Went in for right knee issues and NL developed and implemented a plan for on-site and at-home rehab. Their plan included increasing strength and mobility of my knee and of supporting joints/muscle groups. Their therapists were experienced, knowledgeable and friendly. Loved going to sessions. My knee and lower extremities feel stronger and more flexible than I can remember. I was so impressed that I am now having NL treat my chronic low back issues (which is already improving due to their plan) and my wife is seeing them for her chronic right knee problems. I have been coming to Next level for about six weeks for both my back and shoulders. I have had substantially good results with both. the place is run like clockwork and if you show up at nine, you'll start your therapy at nine and be out by 10. the therapists create a unique program for each customer and post the exercises online so that the can be at home, although some require going to the gym. I'm hitting a point in my life where things are starting to tighten up and hurt all over and I've previously been to several other places. This has by far been my most successful location for my issues. read more

I recently had hip replacement surgery in May. Once I was two weeks out, it was time to begin therapy. The center I went to in the past was unable to begin my therapy for 4 more weeks. Needless to say, that was not an option. I looked around my area and found Next Level. I began therapy within a few days of contacting them. I had a great experience. Although I liked the center I went to in the past, Next Level was even better. I like that it was a smaller facility where patients get more attention from therapists and staff. There was very little "waiting around" to be told and shown the next exercise and very little waiting for the therapist to do their part. I am just a few days shy of 69. I workout 5-6 days/wk & run 4 OCR races/yr (Spartan/GRIT/EPIC). I began having pain in both arms (right being much worse) & my left knee. I heard so many people at my gym raving about Amy at Next Level that I decided to make an appointment. To my surprise, I found out Medicare would cover this. First visit, Amy diagnosed the root problems that were causing my pain & began treatment. My first race of the year, the GRIT was coming up in a few weeks. By the day of the race, my pain level was dramatically lowered but still hindered me. Today, I did the LA EPIC & was not hindered at all! Thank you to Amy and Next Level PT! I was having an issue with my left foot and lower leg. After walking for about 10 minutes, my leg and foot would become too painful to walk. My doctor have me a referral to a local PT and I spent 20 sessions with them over a 1-year period. They worked on my foot and ankle and would not look at anything else because of the prescription, I spent 1 hour with Amy and she determined that the issue was a nerve issue coming from my lower back. Not only did she distinguish this, she was able to prove it to me!
