I was tasked with moving and wanted to try something different. I usually would do it alone or throw everything away and restart. Next Nest has helped me start a new tradition of hiring movers. Justin, assisted me from beginning to end. He was able to ask all of the right questions and get me a quote. He even examined the locations to give me the game plan on what needs to be done. Justin sent invoices, responded quickly, and was very down to earth. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The cost of moving is much less than people think.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It felt good to do my part and the leg work be handled by someone else. I recommend hiring movers and NEXT NEST to everyone who is moving. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The money spent it worth it, once you think of all the time saved.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Justin and his team moved all of my items with efficiency and care. It even started raining during the process and they made sure very item stayed dry. Justin is so helpful he even assisted a neighbor who needed their doorbell installed. Overall this was a Very Positive experience! Justin listened to my needs and was very accommodating in that I needed to move items from two separate locations to a new place. He & his associate , Damon, were very careful with the items they moved- utilizing blankets, plastic wrapping, corner cushions, etc. They disassembled & reassembled furniture items all while working fastidiously and rarely breaking! This was a huge job and there's no way we could have done it without their enormous help. During the move my fridge, dryer was damaged, my $4000 bedroom set was scratched, chipped the dresser had a big chunk of wood missing, flower pot fell out of truck and broke. He had no insurance for damages although he says he will make it right if anything gets damaged he took $500 off of moving. Here is my recommendation to him wrap with blankets and stretch wrap make sure that nothing is bouncing on top of dryer and also protect the bottom of furniture that is where the majority of my bedroom furniture got damaged bc it was not wrapped properly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]His price was good but we took a risk with him having no insurance and this was the result.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I wish him all the best with his company and hope he takes my recommendations seriously and hopefully he can get insured... bc this will be a loss for us!!! read more

Justin and his team were great! When I was thinking about booking my move with Next Nest, I had a few logistical questions and Justin called me back and was thorough in his explanations. When people move, things often don't go as planned and he had a job the night before, which delayed his time of arrival at my place the next morning. However, he informed me in a timely manner and I was able to adjust. They were great at packing my most fragile items like my TV and stand. Justin was also great at helping arrange my new place. I was downsizing and I was concerned that my furniture wasn't going to fit in my new place, but Justin was great at helping me visualize the space and adjusting the furniture to fit, while looking nice at the same time. They F'd the floors on the way in and the way out so i lost money from my deposits at both apartments. I called multiple people at management. They towed the company line. Its just a bunch of sociopaths.

I've moved eight times in my life, and David's Moving Company is by far the worst I've ever encountered. 1. Total Disregard for Property: They showed no care for my belongings. During the move, they broke over $4,000 worth of items, put two holes in my brand new home, and scratched our new wood floor. 2. Unprofessional Behavior: The employees got into a literal fight in my front yard. One of them quit on the spot, and I had to personally move the rest of the furniture myself. 3. Inadequate Compensation: When I brought these issues to David's Moving Company, all they offered was a $500 claim, leaving me out at least $4,000--not including the $1,750 I paid them. Long story short, if you want your belongings damaged and enjoy doing manual labor yourself, then this is the company for you. My suggestion: never use this company. If you need to move, choose another route or do it yourself before considering them.

They talk efficiency and they deliver it too! From the beginning until the end, care is taken to deliver everything as promised. I believe there aren't too many other companies around that's priced this fair either. I've seen some prices go over $150 an hour. I paid $135/hour. I'm sure it can change though. I'm not sure.
