Man I loved my actual in person experience and my initial interactions were all so positive but I am having a ridiculously difficult time accessing my lab results. I literally work in tech and I cant figure out how to get any answers from this place or their portals/sites. The only online portal I can find is to pay them (which I have). It is so easy to access financial information but finding medical answers feels impossible. I have tried resetting my password, making a new account, calling the Kildaire location multiple times. I either get no answer or someone does answer but that person has no answers. AHHH. I would love to have just one medical experience that isnt expensive and stressful. read more

Should have read the reviews before I went. I had slight pain in ear, very high temperature, and vertigo. I had previously been diagnosed with an ear infection by my PCP and prescribed a 5 day course doxycycline. It flared back up and am leaving the state for a week on Saturday. My PCP was closed due to NYE so I went to NextCare. 4.5 hours later I'm told I have flue B despite no symptoms beyond fever and dismissed. The arrogant FCP, non-doctor, said my ear was bulging but she could not see why. Totally ignored previous diagnosis from an actual Dr and gave me a tamiflue prescription despite. She then proceeded to ask me if I was a Dr or healthcare professional when I questioned why she was ignoring the fact my ear was bulging and the previous diagnosis. She did not even listen to heart and lungs until she brought me the discharge papers. Absolute waste of time and there needs to a zero star rating. AVOID read more

Reason they're horrible: 1) Didn't obtain pre-authorization for prescription so the medication wasn't covered by insurance. 2) After numerous attempts to explain the problem, they refused to call-in the pre-authorization for a medically necessary prescription to be covered by our insurance. I went there on a weekend to find out if I had COVID, strep, or something else. They had no COVID tests. I guess I should have gone to CVS, Walgreens, Harris Teeter, or Publix rather than to this alleged health care facility. I presented my insurance cards when I checked in. I later received an unexpected bill. I called the number on the bill and waited on hold for sixteen minutes, then was connected to someone who told me that insurance had paid and I now had a zero balance. I asked her to please submit a suggestion that they wait a bit to send the bill until insurance had settled, because I had just waited 16 minutes on hold. She hung up. read more

If you come here expect to wait a long time. Communication is very lacking. I've been here about 4 times and the process before was to check in on the app and they will text you when to come to the waiting room. They changed the policy so you check in and go straight in and I did not know that because my confirmation email and text sent said you are checked in and to view your wait time look at the app. I was here before my appointment time but waited about 30+ min without a text so went inside and the girl at the front desk said you're late and now 2 people are in front of you , you need to come in to check in. I wasn't late and I didn't know the process. Now I know. Hopefully this will help someone. I gave this place a shot because it was in network and I was in a good amount of pain with an existing medical condition, but despite there not being a single person in the waiting room, the lady at the front desk confronted me in a rude off-putting tone about the check in process. Then, as I was going through the lengthy process of scanning cards, etc, she proceeded to pull out her personal cell phone. I'm sorry, but when did front desk help suddenly not have to help you with literally anything? I looked around the place and I didn't like the feel of it or the energy I was getting from her, the drab building, I just walked out. I would never trust a place like this with my health. Seriously considering dropping Cigna if they think this qualifies as a medical facility. read more

I had the worse experience at this Urgent care today. I came in with multitude of symptoms, spend in the room close to an hour only to learn that this was a tele-health visit! Any professional when they assess the person should be able to identify if the patient needs to be seen by the real doctor! I have symptoms that needed actually assessed by a doctor such as listen to lungs and heart, check ears (since I lost hearing on one side) and lost voice. On top of everything i had to pay full copay!!! And a cherry on top, the NP (yes, I was not even seen by a doctor) did not send the prescription to the pharmacy!!!! I will never go to this practice ever again and please be ware to read a sign posted on the reception desk that there is no provider on site, which it should be clearly stated to the patient at the time of the check-in, but why would they bother!!! ​ read more

The wait wasn't terrible, and the nurse was very nice and understanding. The phone number on the website is inaccurate (the is an 800 number on the door) and nobody answers the other number. I tried for hours on two different days. The apps for check-in and then medical information from visits are easy to use and helpful but the app can be down for maintenance on occasion. read more

If you are looking for an urgent care, do yourself a favor and SKIP this place. I never write reviews but feel I need to share with others to save them the stress. I was told there were 2 people in the waiting room and ended up waiting 3 hours while my sick kid cried in the waiting room. One other sick lady left after 2 hours. There was one doctor there. Everything was sooo slow, even while were being seeing. My son was tested for strep, covid and flu - all negative. His ears were read but they never diagnosed him with an ear infection but just gave him medicine for it. And it was a liquid and potassium amoxicillin since he previous had an ear infection. Turns out he didn't even have an ear infection. We brought him to his primary doctor who tested him for strep and shared he likely had strep all along. There are SIGNS EVERYWHERE in this place saying that the will not tolerate rude or aggressive behavior - After leaving, I know understand why the signs were there. Not to mention most of the staff was not pleasant to deal with. Again, there are other places - DO NOT go to this practice. read more

I've been here a few times because it's closest to my apartment. Always made an appointment ahead of time. Always have to wait 40+ minutes after my appointment time to be seen. What's the point of appointments if you aren't going to be seen on time? The doctors and nurses are really kind and helpful, though. read more

A great resource for "urgent care". Not for COVID testing, unless you're desperate. They were professional and helpful re my COVID test, HOWEVER they omit mentioning that it will be billed as an office visit (whereas if you went to CVS, with any insurance and even uninsured, they're paid 100% at no cost to you). So far we have been sitting in the waiting room for 2 hours. It makes you want to just leave. They a registration system where you have to use your phone Scan the code and fill out the form to be seen. Needless to say our phones didn't get good service and their ap seemed to be on overload. So after 30 mins of doing that, we were the second family there but had 5 people ahead of us. I wondered what would if I didn't have a phone. Also, it's child with a fever if 101. I've been there and taken my son there with insurance was pricey. We were given the right antibiotics but if you a good MD then you won't have to pay at all more then likely they coded it wrong across the board. So if you need fast care go to your doctor and make sure they are doing their job efficiently and correctly. So I am visiting from Sweden and I catch the flu in America. Due to this, I go to this place for help. Given that I do not have insurance, I take the risk. I told them at the front desk that I do not have insurance and asked how much roughly it would cost. They could not tell me exactly but said the doctor would be with me shortly. As I wait in the doctors checkup room, I hear the nurse and doctor through the door talk how that I don't have insurance. The doctor makes a "cah-chiiing" noise with his mouth. At this point I realised that this was more than a joke to them and left. I was still charged for the visit which was over 150 US dollars (just for walking in, no tests). I think it is disgusting to be treated this way and hope that improvment can be made to the entire US healthcare system and its robbery. I had a great experience at NextCare. Heather was very courteous at the front desk when I arrived. They wait time was short the nurse, Chris, was so professional and kind. Even though I was nervous and in pain from my eye injury, Chris was very kind and caring. My care provider was P.A. Kaitlin. She was AMAZING! She was thorough and went the extra mile. This is a fraudulent operation where a lot of internal lingo is used between the office location and the billing department out in Mesa, AZ to apply charges for services not provided. A COVID nasal swab visit was charged $160.00 and $235.00 for another visit for the same procedure. No doctor was ever seen, there was no initial complaint of illness, and the procedure was done by a technician. No one communicated any information regarding a rapid test versus a non-rapid test, particularly the costs. The billing department has no knowledge of any visits primarily, because they are out of state and admittedly, send invoices to patients based on the charges they are sent from the NextCare location. Go to an ER before giving any thought to seeking care from these locations. At least in an ER, you get the care you need and the cost associated with the service will be accurate and not inflated to help the NextCare bottom line profit. They have been reported and an investigation into their operational and billing procedures are underway. They need to be called out!!! read more

Went to this facility because it's close to my house and I was in a lot of pain. Left with a prescription for an antibiotic I TOLD the nurse I was highly allergic to (not just hives - I go into shock if I take it, so I ALWAYS tell health care professionals about my allergy). By the time I realized the prescription was wrong they had already closed and, since it was New Years Eve, I wasn't able to get them to call in a new prescription until two days later. Just getting them to call in something new took several phone calls (spanning nearly 4 hours). If you MUST go here, be sure to tell the doctor about your allergies yourself, because clearly the nurse just asks because she's curious. I'd suggest saving yourself the trouble and just going somewhere else. read more

I paid my copay of $50 just so Dr No- Name (old guy who never introduced himself) looked at my injury, agitated it to the point where I have consistent pain now when there was none before, and then sent me off to an ER because he didn't want to deal w it. We're new to the area and I needed to get my son's physical completed for the county. I was repeatedly told over the phone that they could do it, no problem, no need to make an appointment just bring him in. Fast forward 2 weeks and I show up and they say they can't do anything because the doctor "won't sign off on it". Would've been nice to know this ahead of time so I could've found someone who could have! Thank you, NextCare for wasting my time and energy. It's now way too late for me to get a pediatrician appointment to get the form filled out in time. I would give negative stars, if possible. When I first arrived I told the receptionist that I had abdominal pain. I was then asked to fill-out paperwork. On that paperwork it ask for you to list a reason for your visit, and I wrote "abdominal pain". I then gave my paperwork to the receptionist and she asked why was I wanting to see a doctor, and I told her again that I was wanting to be seen for abdominal pain. At that time she ran my insurance and said I would need to pay my co-pay before seeing the doctor. I paid my $50 co-pay and then went back to wait for the doctor. When the doctor came in, he quickly said that Urgent Care cannot do anything for abdominal pain, and that I should have went to my general doctor or to the ER. I asked why I was not told that when I checked-in and he said it says that on their website. Again, why was I not told that when I checked-in? Going to this Urgent Care was a waste of time and money, and I left feeling worse than when I went in. read more

This place is awful. The staff is nice but the physician on call was rude and refused to treat my symptoms. I clearly have a sinus infection that she says is a virus. Don't go here if you are really sick. The bedside manner is awful and they rush you out the door without helping you. I will never go here again or refer anyone I know here. read more
