Unfortunately we had an error in our online paperwork. The lady with the braids at the front (7/11/26), was extremely rude and condescending. Instead of trying to help resolve the issue she said we didn't have an appointment and accused of insurance fraud for my 3 year old since the dob was the policy holders (dad). Instead of helping fix it we just had to ask to cancel the appointment and use the posted QR code to redo the appointment ourselves. I guess her job is to monitor the door and not help patients in need. read more

They advertise that next level prime can be a substitute for primary care and that is not true You cannot see a Dr in person only virtually. They then schedule another appointment in The clinic for a physical exam. This disrupts any continuity of care. I was told in a visit they they cannot provide care for chronic conditions. And when I presses forward, I was told I'm not a good fit and got hung up on. When I responded to a survey I was called by a member of their leadership team who blamed me. This is not care. It is a business model to get as much insurance and pro are money as possible. read more

This has been my go to urgent care for years. The gentleman at the front desk was VERY rude and condescending. That's never been my experience before. I was not feeling well or at my best and I would have appreciated some grace and kindness. I unfortunately couldn't treated with an alternative medicine due to my allergies and previous treatment but the provider was kind and funny. Usually had decent experiences with the exception of the last year. Medical staff is great but the wait times are crazy now. 2 hours to get seen and not a single person apologized or acknowledged the wait time. And if you need to contact their billing department good luck with that too. Three phone calls at 30-45 minutes on hold each time, and I still haven't been able to speak to a person in their billing department. Pushed the button to get a callback, nope no callback either. Used their awesome website to try and contact them to get a receipt for my FSA card and over a week no response. They also don't update their website. You will go to schedule an appointment and it says no wait time. I went in and was told there were no more appointments for the day and they couldn't see me. Never again. read more

I am extremely disappointed with my visit to the Alamo Ranch Nextcare. Arturo Salas is a horrible provider. He took less than 5 minutes to examine me when I came in for a follow up visit. I was just there a week ago and diagnosed with strep and flu. My cough has not gotten better and I am not getting sleep. He was provided all of this information. Yet, Arturo prescribes me cough syrup I can get over the counter. He didn't even look at my throat. I called the office after realizing I paid $50 for a five minute visit with an inept practitioner who doesn't bother to actually treat patients. Arturo refused to speak to me. He had the front office girls rotate in telling me nonsense about the cough syrup being prescribed. Went to this urgent care with severe abdominal pain with a UTI. The receptionist was friendly and offered me a cup in case I needed to vomit. Prover Travis Forney PAC has terrible bed side manners and was lecturing me about my diabetes without knowing the circumstances of my current condition. He was rude and not at all empathetic, he definetley needs training on bedside manners and understanding that he needs to listen to his patient and judge. read more

They have terrible customer service, only allow online appointments, and will allow you to book a Covid test in advance only to have you wait an hour to tell you they are out of test. Typically I have a great experience but I made a appointment and was able to get there early and said only one person ahead of me and then a couple after me they by passed my walk in appointment and let others go ahead of me and said I had to take my appointment time even though we all were walk ins and I had to wait but no one else did. I will be looking into another urgent care bc favoritism and Racism is wrong and I felt profiled. Looking back, the experience was pretty disappointing. Not sure when "urgent care" became "take 15 minutes to register online and sign in for an appointment then wait another 15 minutes to get called in-care" We arrived ten minutes before they opened, so with only 2 people ahead of us, there was no reason receiving care for a COVID concern should have taken over 30 minutes. Be forewarned: if you go in with concerns of a painfully sore throat, throat swelling, and trouble swallowing, you'll be told they "don't have the tools to look in your throat"... The female doc seemed kind of oblivious as well. Oh... and the exam room I was in just happened to be playing a talk show with a stripper dancing on a pole!!! Wtf. Maybe be more aware of the channels so kids aren't being exposed to random shit like that in a medical office. I got the meds I needed, but left with an overall feeling of ick. read more

Not only did we not have to wait more than 10 min to be seen but Rick came right in with a super friendly disposition and engaged my super nervous shy 5 yr old. He was awesome and super informative. He showed me pictures and explained in great detail what was going on in my sons ear. Explained what and how to take the meds needed and gave us a coupon for the over the counter stuff. Prior to taking my daughter to this facility, I called to verify their covid testing process and turnaround time.. After being told over the phone and at the facility it would take about 24/48 hours, I got her seen. I figured oh due to this "winter storm" crap it would take a day longer, asked my husband to follow up on Friday afternoon, since we had not heard back.. The location just advised results were not in yet, so I figured on they are backed up from Thursday's closure.. I called back today and I'm now being told they are taking 5 days to get PCR / 4 days for rapid results in and that it would go for any Covid testing facility.. I thought well that's funny, because I had just gotten my whole family tested that Tuesday and got the results Wednesday afternoon for our PCR test at a different location.. Since, I need to get one of my children retested for an inconclusive test, I would just take her to Nextcare since they had testing available that day. We are just going to hope that my child's results come in ASAP, so we can all get back to work and daycare.. UPDATE: Sooo they provide phone results then told my husband, that he had to come in to get a copy of results, so I called to ask for an emailed copy since neither one of us would be able to pick up. I was told by one person it would take about 2-3 hours. 6 pm came around still nothing.. So, I called again and was transferred to the location we had gone to 45 min later.. Only for them to say oh we cant email, since they have issues with emailing them. I was then told that I could go to Quest website to get them, so I do that but since my child is under the age of 13 years old, I couldn't register to get those results.. The person I was speaking to advised that she was not sure how it works since its not their site.. She told me look we are here until 8 pm tonight, so if you can make it in we will have it printed.. 7 pm my husband gets to their location and what do you know they are freaking closed!!!!! Idk how this place is open when the staff has no regard for their patients! We came in 30min before closing and the "doctor" kept looking at his watch, telling me that we more than likely had to go to the ER because of ortho or surgery. All I wanted was an X-ray since my son has an ortho. Alan, a paramedic working the front, was ok until I asked for their names. Travis Forney is the most impatient and rudest "doctor" I've ever met. Needed to get seen for a Covid rapid test and TX Med Clinic had ridiculous wait times. Found this urgent care near my home and was able to get a walk in test. The intake of my initial information was easy and fast and the instructions to get my test conducted were easy and efficient. I drive to the back, a young lady came out to administer it and asked if I wanted to wait for results. Subpar urgent care. Will not go back. The nurse blew his nose, and then tried to do vitals on my son, and I had to ask him to wash his hands. The PA didn't swab for the flu, but told me he knows by the symptoms that my son had it. After me asking to please swab, he kept asking me why. Not the type of service I like. read more

Excellent care. I made an appointment online ahead of time and we were seen promptly midday by the PA. We had a diagnosis pretty quickly, were given a work excuse and sent on our way with the prescription already sent out. Everyone was accommodating and the PA was super nice. I came here based on positive reviews and had a much better experience than at a Texas Med Clinic or CVS minute clinic. I will be coming here for my urgent care needs from now on. read more

At 11:45 I went in and told them I had 11 appt and it 11:45 and she said it's not appt, it's a reservation. I told her that's not what it says on your website. I felt like she had attitude. It's a sad because I have been there a few times before and never had such bad service. Plus there was only one person in the waiting area. I won't be back. I was referred here since my clinic had no appointments and was not disappointed. The front office staff was really nice and walked me through registration and paperwork. It was mostly done online through my phone and was really easy and convenient. I didn't have to wait more than 20 minutes to be seen and the nurse that took my vitals, Laura H., was really kind, gentle, patient and professional. Once I got put in a room, the wait was not very long. Joshua Rahaei, PAC, was super attentive and actually listened to my symptoms. They were able to put my meds in at a local pharmacy, give me a work note, and I was on my way about an hour later. They were really awesome! If you are paying cash then fine but if they are billing insurance their insurance girl who is the rudest individual I have ever known will NOT bill your insurance correctly. I tested for Covid on June 19th. It is now July 7th. They never called to give me my test results. I am positive. I had to call and they claimed they had the wrong number. This is incorrect. I checked my number with the receptionist days in between. Now they will not answer my phone call (after hanging up on me) and I need results for work. When I call, l end up on hold for an excessive amount of time only to get someone who is not interested in fixing the billing. Not happy with these people at all. This is the second time I use an Impact Urgent Care. Loved the first one I went to off of 1604/Blanco. That physician was amazing. Wasn't afraid to treat and didn't start me so conservatively with the "if this doesn't work then come back and see me" type of stuff. Well, since I had such a great experience, I decided to try the one near the new area we moved to. This one is off Culebra and Huckleberry, outside 1604. The PA was on today and I thought he was pretty awesome too. Wish I caught his name. The wait time had to have been about 5 minutes after check in and maybe 5-10 minutes at most to see the PA. Did his quick assessment, found objective symptoms, and told me the treatment plan which also included a steroid shot!! I love fast acting medication and love that you can still find a lot of physicians giving them. Truly love this Urgent Care Center. Great office staff. Ok, maybe the person that helped check me in can use a little picker up when greeting clients that are coming in to seek medical attention. Just a tad bit more cheerful. Idk. Maybe she was having a bad day. Not enough to sing a star for though. Nevertheless, when my PCP can't get me, or I don't want to wait the 2 hrs it takes to get out of her office, you better believe I'll be coming here. 5 minutes from home. I signed my kids up online for a flu vaccine. I was instructed to input insurance information, which I did. When I arrived, I waited behind a sign in front of the reception desk, as instructed. After standing for 5 minutes without acknowledgement, I approached the receptionist. She informed me that she did not need my insurance card because they don't accept insurance for a flu vaccine ever, under any circumstances. CASH ONLY, for a flu vaccine, which is covered by insurances 100%. In addition to the lousy policy, I am disappointed that I wasn't called with this information prior to making the trip. My name, number, and insurance were all given online, as well as the reason for the visit. read more

I went to this place today to be seen. The lady at the front desk was very nice and very helpful. The MA was quiet and courteous. The Physician Assistant was a total jerk! He came in the room ignoring my husband cam e straight up to me and remained in my personal space He questioned me by....."what do you expect from me to do for you today?" "What do expect I can do at an Urgent Care?" I was not expecting his attitude at all. My mind went black. I already know I need to see a Gastroenterologist, however my insurance does not start till next month. I just want some relief, especially since my bday is next week. I paid out of pocket which I was very well aware of. What I was not aware of was payIng some unprofessional jerk for basically treating me like a child.
