First time coming here and will not be coming back. I walked in and asked for a haircut and 2 ladies were just sitting there. Mai, asked me to sit in her chair, and there's this lady that said "oh they're waiting for Ngoc" and proceeds to just goes back on her phone on the couch. I think she was just waiting for her appointments. Anyways, I got my hair cut from Mai. She's an older lady so I gave her a simple picture of how I wanted my hair. (layers and 2 inch short). this is the inspo picture vs how my hair came out. the layers looked like a staircase and both sides were uneven. she kept straightening my hair and blaming that it's because of the oil that made my hair difficult to cut. why are you blaming it on the client when you're a professional? It is extremely rare for me to ever put a low review but I have to leave this here. I have been going here for about 2 years. I was always getting my hair dyed and cut. Left people great tips as well. I was so into how cheap the prices were that I honestly never cared too much how my hair turned out. This time though it had just went too far. I wanted my hair to be auburn and the finish product was a badly bleached blonde head. I came back 2 days later to get it fixed and Ngoc had told me she's gonna have to charge me again. I explained to her how she had done the completely wrong color but she had started screaming at me and my mom. She never tried to once be calm or just hear me out. Again I wasn't here to scam anyone but to get the hair color I had paid for which was not a untoned blonde head. After the red hair dye from my previous visit with Ngoc faded to a coppery brown and my roots had grown out nearly 5 inches, I knew it was time to schedule another appt with Ngoc for coloring. This time, I really wanted something natural that would last a long time so I opted for highlights. I was really unsure how Ngoc was going to get me to where I wanted. Logistically, it sounded like a multi hour job with many steps. After all, my roots had grown out nearly 5 inches and my hair still had red remnants in it, whereas I wanted ashy highlights. My unreal results are attached below. I have been going to Ngoc for several years, but she actually really blew me away this time. In just one hour, she put in the highlight foils, safely removed the red residue, toned my hair, and styled it. For a FRACTION of the cost of more "hip" or insta-famous hair colorists in the area. i got my haircut from Ngoc? (the lady with colored short hair whose desk was right in front of th door when you walk in) and she charged me $30 for simple layers. i asked to cut short and it's literally the same length except the sides are layered. she wasn't working on a customer when i walked in then a man walked in 5 minutes after and then i thought, ok, maybe it's her appointment. she took on another customer that came in after me. then when it was finally my turn, she only took 25-30 mins. she RUSHED because she saw her regular customer came in at the 15 minute mark. right after i was done, she rushed to him. she didn't even bother answering me when i asked her how much the price was, until i asked again and someone else answered. she gave me an attitude face when i didn't tip her. never coming back. read more

Ngoc pulls hard on your hair, she is very VERY rough when doing hair, not delicate at all. Horrible, never coming here again. I thought Ngoc would give me a nice brown color but she told me that the photo I have had highlights but I didn't want them but she said if I wanted the photo, she would need to put highlights. So I listened and said okay but they turned out way too bright because she made me sit longer than I was suppose to. I was so upset so I went back to make it darker and she made my hair as dark as black. Then she complained saying I was getting a better price than anywhere else and that it looks nice already so I shouldn't change it. I felt guilty sitting in that chair again and she shouldn't have made me feel that way. Lesson learned, I'm not going here again. read more

This is my second time coming to Ngoc for my hair. She does an amazing job and has great prices for her customers. My before and after photos shows how talented she is. Definitely would come back here again. The only issue that I have is that the silver tint does not stay on for long. After 2 washes, your hair returns back to a "yellow" state. Definitely will have to tone your hair yourself again after a week or so. Other than that, ngoc is amazing at getting the perfect balayage. read more

I shared some pictures with Ngoc of what I wanted (some balayage). She said it wouldn't be exact, but close enough. I said that was ok. At the end of the day, I ended up with one base color. She said she couldn't lift anymore because it would damage my hair. In any case, the balayage could've been done with the lightness she was able to get to. Except it ended up being one base color. The charge was too much for 1 base color. Now I will be going elsewhere to get some lowlights and highlights in. read more

The place might be out dated but the owner Ngoc is very kind and knowledgeable. I went to get my hair straighten/cut and she noticed that my hair was very weak. She didn't leave the solution on long like others do, she washed it after 15 min and did some kind of hair treatment for me. She then started to explain what I should do if I continue to dye my hair.
