I dont know why my dad would choose this complete idiot as our family doctor, probably because hes Vietnamese which makes it easier to communicate. Well not me. Im so glad im out of the plan. The last time i went to him to ask for a blood test so I could prove immunization to my school, he didnt even wanna answer my question, knowing that he would have to do it out of charge since im in the family plan. He was walking away from me while answering my question. What kind of doctor would walk away from their patient while consulting them??? All he said was that "everything could be done if you pay" like really? If you become a doctor just so you could charge people regardless of their health, then I advice you to burn your license and just do something else with your life. read more

I dreaded coming here as a kid. Not only because it usually was under unfavorable circumstances (I was sick), but because my parents would remind me afterward of how much I was costing them for being sick, oy! Lieu, to me, was never a great doctor. What I did appreciate was his willingness to prescribe what I requested. If I needed antibiotics, for example. he wouldn't make me jump through hurdles to get it. However, my mother once received medication from him and upon holding the bottle I noticed it was expired and immediately pointed this out. His reply was that medicine is still good a few months after expiration. He then quickly followed that comment up by saying he would swap it out with a bottle that wasn't expired for us. If you know what you need, Lieu is good for getting what medication you want. If you want him to solve problems, he may not be as helpful. read more

WORST DOCTOR EVER! He's the stupid Doctor I ever came across in my life. My dad has been dealing with his idiotic ass for over a year & he doesn't do shit about his health. He does urine exams just to bill the insurance & never gives the results. 3 weeks ago my dad has a urine exam done & the doctor said it was fine a week later we had to go to the emergency room because my dad wasn't FINE! He was taken another Urine exam & he was found that his kidneys were failing & he had a chronic kidney disease. I called & asked the secretary if my dad can walk in because he wasn't feeling good. & she said no because it was to busy. Who the hell says that ! My first visit here was as a child. I remember vividly.... a doctor here prescribed me a medication that nearly killed me! I had a horrible reaction to it and was sick for over a month. UUUGGHHHHH. Now, as an adult, my employer assigned me Dr. Lieu Nguyen as a primary doc. :(!!! I walked in to what seemed like the most unsanitary and dingy waiting room. I had the creeps just sitting in the chairs. I felt like I was at one of those free clinics. I called the day before and had no problems scheduling an appointment the following day as a new patient. The person that took my call was super friendly. My appointment was at 11am and I arrived twenty minutes early just in case I needed to fill out paperwork. The waiting room was full of patients. I signed in on the clipboard which only asked for your name and birth date. At 11am, I approached the counter. Front desk person had walked away (no idea where they went). I waited ten minutes at the counter. She finally came and I explained it was my first time there and that I was a new patient. She then gave me a clipboard with papers to fill out. (would have been nice to have been doing something those 20minutes while I waited). I was the last one in the lobby. :/ After I filled out my paperwork, she calls me to take my weight and height. By now, it was 1125-1130am. She charges me a $10 copay. I extend my debit card and she says sorry its CASH ONLY. What?? Ugghh..she was lucky I had cash on me which I RARELY ever do! She could have told me it was cash only when I called to schedule the appointment the day before. She knew I was a NEW PATIENT!!! She directed me to a room where Dr. Nguyen walked in shortly after. He kept the door OPEN- GEE THANKS FOR PRIVACY! I think I was the only one there besides the receptionist but I didn't appreciate that she could probably hear all my health ailments. Our consultation was 15minutes tops! He was ready to cut me off but I stopped him from walking off and saying "I'm not done. I came here to discuss 3 issues..." As I sat there discussing my health concerns, I felt like he was completely insensitive to my medical history. I'm never coming back here again! read more

First time new patient, I called made the appointment for my sister. No mention what so ever if being cash only. We checked in gave insurance cards and waited 45 minutes to be seen. The girl comes out to room us, oh by the way you have a $25 copay. Okay here's my card oh we only take cash. Really we waited 45 minutes no mention of copay. Had horrible experiences here for a couple months before I could switch doctors. Explained to Dr. Nguyen all the health problems I had been experiencing for months, how they were affecting my social life, my safety, my peace of mind, and were about to make me lose my job. He responded with, word for word, "that doesn't sound so bad." The prescriptions and suggestions didn't help and they botched the first referral specialist, delaying my ability to get help elsewhere. He will not answer your questions and if he does, it's not related to it or he'll walk out and blame your problems on something else. He doesn't give you what you want or need. He is the worst doctor out there. He really doesn't give a crap about you. Doctor walked out 2 times while I was talking explaining my symptoms n then completely ignored everything I said n just gave me a prescription for pain medicine because he said my muscle were sore from working out. I'm not one to bash anyone but he doesn't show any concern or real empathy for anyone's issues. One time he didn't even put the stethoscope directly on me to check my heart. He just waved it & then said yeah you're fine. Then when he checked my ears and throat he didn't even look directly at it. I had difficulty breathing ever since I was 14. Worse doctor and person ever. My father went here twice. Once for blood tests and questions about a concerning mole. Once for a bad bite he got on a finger that made his finger turn dark purple and painful. Both times this "doctor" was the rudest person ever. WORST experience ever in the doctor's office!!! Despite of all I had read on Google abd Yelp.com about Dr. Nguyen, I thought things should have changed over the years and we'd just have a short & sweet physical checkup. Unfortunately, the reality is very cruel. The office girls were rude and unprofessional. They demanded CASH ONLY for insurance copay. They said Dr. Nguyen won't see us if we could not pay the $80 in cash (we had $30 in cash but the rest could be paid in check). We were in shock by the staff's attitude and demeaning conduct towards new patients. We argued that they should have informed us at the time of scheduling. Also there's nothing about CASH ONLY being posted in the office. Are you kidding me the personal check can't be accepted as a form of payment? No credit cards accepted too. The most important is we were not being treated with courtesy. We refuse to deal with tat kind of doctor! How could we trust a doctor like that to provide us with medical care in quality? read more

I did not even get to see the doctor at this office. The staff is terrible and does not know how to communicate. Previous to trying to get my appointment for this doctor, I had already seen a specialist who charged me accordingly to what my insurance stated. This staff said this doctor was in network and I made an appointment. A day before my appointment, someone calls me and states that my insurance was not going to be covered and I had to pay $45 and that this someone had called the insurance and they stated I had to finish my deductible before being able to pay $20 co pay. Contacted my HR rep and they looked into it. They said, NO ONE had been in contact with my insurance and the doctor was in network and there should not be ANY problem. Called back to give this office another chance, Karen stated I had to come back AGAIN with my information to see if the insurance was going to cover. Basically, this office is giving me the round about. I kindly told her that I was going to look for another doctor because clearly they were taking me in circles.
