Unfortunately, our experience with the front office staff has been very disappointing. They rarely answer the phone, and when they do, the receptionists are extremely rude and unhelpful. My mother needed an appointment and was told nothing was available for months, with no effort to assist or offer alternatives. The attitude over the phone was unacceptable. That said, Dr. Janet is excellent and has always been professional and caring. Sadly, the poor behavior of the front office staff has outweighed the positives, and we will be changing providers. read more

Call to make an appointment spoke to Jocelyn. She let me know that I would get a call back later waited to the end of the day and called before they closed to let them know. I have not received a call back to schedule my appointment and that this is important to me. Long story short Jocelyn said I was welcome to switch providers if I needed to. With the help of AI I was able to figure out what was actually going on with my condition. The treatment I was given here was incorrect and didn't help at all. Physical exams don't mean much when the diagnosis is wrong. The reception staff was also extremely rude and unprofessional. This office is full of unprofessional staff. I had a phone appointment today with Dr. Christine Solomon. I was told to wait for a call between 9-5. I missed her 5 minutes after and the doctor leaves a message with a phone number to give a call back. The call number was for the office. I let them know, I'm returning the phone call for my appointment with Dr. Christine Solomon. They said you have to pay a $15 fee for cancellation. I let them know I was not canceling and returning the phone call with a message a doctor left. The staff said, it doesn't matter and you missed the call. Then the staff says the following: - the doctor only calls once - the doctor will NOT call you back - we told you to be near the phone at all times while booking the appointment - we don't guarantee you will get a call back even if we message her Soo basically they were telling me that my entire day should be with the phone and I can't go to the bathroom and should not be able to go do anything and take a day off from work just so I can be available for the doctor. They should have made a proper time for the phone appointment. They are not the only medical office that does phone appointments. Learn from others since they decided to hang up on me. First they don't give a time slot for the appointment and then they charge $15 for missing a phone call and returning. This is basically the staff and policy you just read. They are really unprofessional and if the doctors have set this policy then they are even more unprofessional. This place is terrible. I made an appointment called to cancel they didn't answer then they called me back and I couldn't answer so I called them again and they didn't answer. I then call the next day to try to cancel my appointment and they tell me I need to pay a $25 fee for canceling?? That is ridiculous I rather switch doctors than pay $25 for a canceling fee. That is ridiculous. They're not even top doctors you make an appointment and they make you wait 30-50 min to see you. I wouldn't recommend save your time. read more

Very disappointed to have to write this review. I've been with this clinic for more than 15 years and never have I experienced such poor and unprofessional customer service. The csr's in the front office seem to have the habit of not answering phone calls even if it's more than one time trying. I've been promised a few call backs and never was I reached out to . I've been put on hold multiple times just for them to hang up and when I call back seems like no one knows why. It's been almost a week since i've tried to get a alternative to a certain medication, my pharmacy has had to send two request because my medication has yet to be approved by someone at the clinic i've called twice about that and seems like nothing has been done. And you'd expect for the ladies who help with the customer service to have a positive and helpful attitude but every time I call they are rude and don't try to be discreet about it. They clearly sound upset or frustrated at all times that i've called and portray that attitude to the phone call which is very unprofessional and has put a very bad reputation on your clinic. With an appointment I was in and out like an hour and some minutes even though the waiting room was super full. I went in for birth control prescription and general wellness exam. The receptionist, medical assistant, and Dr. Janet Soliman were all very kind and attentive. The nurse or medical assistant who took my blood out was able to do so on the first try and to me that's impressive because other places sometimes have a hard time getting a vein the first time. The place was clean, they are remodeling, they have lots of rooms. Parking was the only issue I had. There is only street parking, none of the back lots were for the clinic, and the front was all full and the residential area had street cleaning. It's on Tuesdays and Wednesday from 8am to 10 am I believe. read more

I own business and I know how hard it is to keep the customer ratings at 5 stars, in fact, I don't trust all 5 star company, they most likely bribe. But, 3.3 rates at the healthcare institution is something that should cocern everyone who walks in to this door. I have been seen by 2 doctors (Janet & Christine) at this office & they are both very nice. I really like Dr. Christine Soliman! The receptionists & medical assistants were also very nice & attentive. When my newborn woke up, they put me in a room so I could nurse her even though it was not my turn to be seen. I was able to be seen soon after that. I would say my wait time was about an hour & then the MA came into my room within 5 minutes & in another 5 the doctor came so that was really good! And messed up our whole day and because of her, my wife surgery was going to get canceled and she didn't even want to answer the phone or call us back so we had to drive back from downtown back to Hawthorne just to talk to her and get a approval letter because my wife is diagnosed with stage 3 cancer and this doctor doesn't give a sh** about patients. For the past couple of years I've been avoiding coming to this place because they are nothing but careless and unprofessional. Due to the fact that I had to change my insurance provider I once again had to come back here. I had gone to the ER and they told me I had to follow up with an obgyn doctor, so naturally you have to go to your primary doctor to get a referral. The minute I called to set up an appointment I explained to them my situation and would you believe me that they said they now had an obgyn in the clinic. I was like wow that's great, wronggggg they lied ! they lied about having an obgyn doctor who on earth does that ? When I arrived the first thing you noticed is how dirty the place is, trash on the floor. After being lied to, they said they would call me about the referral. It's been over 2 weeks of me calling to follow up. Why bother telling me to call to follow up when everytime I do call the lady I'm supposed to speak is either not there or she's too busy to speak to me. And can someone explain to me why would a clinic be closed at 1pm, 3pm? Do you guys not follow your own posted hours. The fact that me as a patient has been treated this way is completely unacceptable. If you care about your health please don't go here. Best believe I will make a complaint because they're license should be revoked, and I don't ever want to see someone go through the same thing I'm going through. I have been going to this doctors office since I was nineteen years old and I have to say the last three visits I've had has been terrible! They have hired new medical assistants and they have not been properly trained as far as customer service and patients! The doctors are phenomenal and I'm so upset that I will be leaving this office because of the receptionists in the front. They also have a new tendency of not pulling names from the file. A few patients and myself were waiting for four hours before they called us . Her excuse was nobody pulled our file! So there we were waiting just wasting time. Please do not visit this place whatsoever. It is not Covid compliant the lobby is the size of a bathroom. Will contact the City about this location . During business hours they allow six patients in the small place. According t, to CDC you are required to wear a mask and distance of six feet social distance. The space is bit large enough to have six patients at a time. I have had the worst experience. I get a call from one of the cans at 7:30 evening a day before appointment whom was quite rude. I simply asked what is the approximation timeframe that a patient has to wait before being seen. She had become belligerent , argumentative.and then she hung up. This was the second time this had occurred from the same individual. The following day I complained to the office manager about her lack of customer skills and rudeness. All of a sudden, I received a certified letter from the medical doctors at centro medico asking us to contact our medical because she requested my son to be disenrolled. from her medical care. This was truly a blessing there was no unity or diversity in her office really. I don't usually write reviews but I found myself compelled to do it for the sake of safety for whoever reads this for themselves or for their loved ones. It's very unfortunate to write this but Dr. Soliman is indeed a very incompetent and careless physician. First, she rushed through the exam and didn't give a chance for my mother to tell her what she's complaining of even though this was an initial visit. She just kept on cutting my mother off with such a rude, condescending, unprofessional attitude. She then goes on to write "Metformin" as my mother's first name on the prescription instead of writing her correct first name though that's not the main concern. My mother almost fainted alone at home because of a low blood glucose due to a high dose of new medication Dr. Soliman prescribed. My mother was taking metformin 1000 mg twice daily but her fasting blood glucose was still slightly elevated so Dr. Soliman decided to give her glipizide 10 mg (another anti diabetic med) which was a high dose considering her fasting blood glucose level. She should have had her start on 2.5 or 5 mg. She also NEVER warned my mother to have glucose tablets since this drug is known to sharply decrease blood glucose. If you care about your health or the health of your loved ones, please look for a different REAL DOCTOR, not an individual who will treat you worse than a neglected animal. A message to Dr. Soliman and all doctors who forgot their role as healthcare professionals: please go back and reread the oath you swore when you became a doctor!! read more
