Had the worst experience ever with the health care "professionals" here. The doctor was running almost an hour behind on my appointment, the nurse took my vitals and I waited in the front, when she called me back to the room and I asked her why is there such a long wait she said patients take a long time so I asked don't you guys accommodate for that when booking appointments and she started screaming at me saying "I don't need this abuse". My wild eyed shocked face made her even more angry as I was exclaiming why are you screaming at me when I'm asking you a question? She said i was standing with my hands on my hips being aggressive accusing her of not doing her job - say what?? I told her I was standing like this when I walked in, and when she took my vitals too, what is she talking about? That's how I stand! The doctor came in later and asked if I was ok (I was still shaking from being called abusive!) and I said no, the nurse went off of me for no reason when I asked about the long wait and he said "I'm not seeing you, you have been discharged from my practice, you need to find another provider". I said oh you don't even want to hear what happened and he said no we don't serve people like you. Wowwww - I'm a woman of color btw and have tattoos on my arms. This is clear discrimination. I was NOT speaking aggressively at all except raising my voice in disbelief and defense about being accused of having my hands on my hips makes me an aggressor, that's literally how I stand. I reiterated several times that I'm not angry I'm asking a question. I did not curse, I did not say anything out of turn. I was 100% respectful. I simply asked a question about why they don't plan for patients taking so long so the folks don't have to wait an hour after their appointment and was berated as an "abuser" who was telling them they're not doing their jobs (never said anything of the sort). I even reiterated that I am giving her feedback as a patient, which she should be considering. No one in the waiting room was happy. A lady had to leave bc she had another appointment and couldn't wait any longer. I have been seeing this doctor as well as the nurse for many years. The nurse has talked on and on about her kid and grand baby which I've always patiently listened to her rantings and have turned the other cheek several times over the years with disrespectful comments about how I have four kids. But enough is enough. Not to mention the fact that I have several heart issues and recently experienced an SVT, I would think any health professional would be concerned with patients health - I was still shaking from the experience with the nurse when he walked in and took a deep sigh and said I wasn't ok when he asked me. How did he respond when I said I wasn't feeling OK? He told me to get out and said he will contact my cardiologist to let them know he has discharged me from his practice. It took a few hours to relax from the whole experience. To note - when they took my vitals (and my hands were on my hips then too while taking weight and standing), blood pressure was 110/64, pulse 68. Clearly not "aggressive" as she claimed. It was such a horrible experience shaking for so long, that even after a few hours, my blood pressure was still elevated - went to the medical center at my employer and it was 150/106 pulse 81. I stayed for a little while until it went down to 134/98. Both of them should not be working in health care with treating a patient this way. By far the WORST experience , I have been coming here for years and always , the girls up front are always stuck up. Always in a bad mood and with attitude , I was rescheduled for a 11:45 AM appointment, when I got there I was told "your not on our schedule at all" than I was told that there's no appointments at 11:45 ever only at 11 , and all of a sudden they found "my appointment. That I was late , that my appointment was at 11. Lies. Dr. Enríquez , and medical staff are amazing But staff at the front desks are Horrible! They should hire new front Desk for this place to thrive. read more

I would avoid this place at all costs. They are not accommodating in the slightest, the doctor is mediocre at best, and the office staff always has the worst attitude towards the patients. Whoever chooses the staffing needs to seriously reconsider. read more

Very very unhappy with the receptionist not professional, and very rude. I'm suffering with Covid and all I need is an over the phone prescription for paxlovid. My wife took time off work to wait at the pharmacy for over an hour. I've called the receptionist several times now it's going on four hours now she says, why don't you go to urgent care and I said for me to get out of my sick bed and get other people sick it's just not right. This is not the first time with this receptionist the doctor really needs to talk with her. Dr. Eric is a great doctor but the next time I see him I have to say something. read more

Both my Father and boyfriend go to Dr. Enriquez and following an accident I was in, I decided to visit him. He is very friendly, knowledgeable, and seems like he really loves helping people, which is so very important. He was very kind while listening to any issues that I've been having (since it has been quite a while since my last doctors visit) and I will definitely continue using him as my doctor. The front staff aren't as welcoming, but Dr. Enriquez himself makes up for that. Overall I am very pleased and thankful that I went to him instead of a different doctor. read more

I guess I know how to pick them for me. I am so glad he is my insurance network, sometimes it could be hard to find good HMO providers. Office staff is very helpful and it is very convenient to have blood drawn in the office it is necessary.Even though it is a drive for me I hope to continue as a patient for a long time. I just transferred my insurance to this office. It is closer to my home. I just got an asthma attack and my medicine wasn't working. So I just came by to see my new doctor. I met the receptionist who was chewing on gum with her mouth open just staring at me as if I was some kind of virus. Then she asked if I had an appointment. I told her no and that this was an emergency. She said the office was booked and I would have schedule an appointment and that I should call 911. I could not believe what I was hearing. So lucky there is an urgent care down the street. So I am being taken care of now. read more

I have been a patient of Dr. Enriquez for many many years. In fact I used to be a patient of his father and then when the practice was turned over to Eric, I have never left him as a patient. Dr. Enriquez is caring, considerate, knowledgeable, and helpful. Most importantly he listens to his patients. I have never had any bad experience with his office staff. They have been helpful over the years, courteous, and they are also knowledgable about their work. I would recommend Dr. Enriquez for your Health care needs. read more

This review is not towards Eric Enriquez as a doctor but the receptionists. They are rude, stuck up, and not friendly by any means. The last time I dealt with them I was in so much pain and they refuse to help schedule an appointment the same week. It's gotten so bad I switched my primary doctor because of it. Came in on 8/8 for a scheduled new patient visit. My husband called ahead to ask if they would refill an rx for me. They weren't sure, at first they said no...then they said maybe. The staff really has no clue as to what's going on and that was clear with the patient before me. She was visibly worked up but I had brushed it off thinking maybe it was just an odd run in with the staff. 30 min past my appt time they finally bring me back and 15 min after that the doctor makes his appearance. When he figures out why I'm there he closed my chart, said no and abruptly walked out!!!! Wait what?!? Just like that? You're not even going to ask for my prior medical records of which by the way I would have been more than willing to provide or sign a hippa form for you to request to prove I have legit prescriptions? I'm highly suspicious that this doc has been busted before for writing out prescriptions and maybe had his permit or Lic revoked in that area? Who knows....either way I was not given any explanation as to why he did what he did or why he walked out without saying anything else. The only positive thing I have to say is that at least I was refunded my office visit, but not without one of his female front desk thugs chiming in at the end "we told your husband no", ummmm first off I wasn't talking to you, secondly my husband also called back to reconfirm and to let you know that I had a pre-existing rx and that's when one of you idiots told him that I would have to speak to the doctor! I was not looking for a new prescription this was for a refill! So shut it! And thanks for wasting an hour and half of my time. This by far was THE WORST doctors visit experience I've ever had! Poorly managed, I was out of my medication and called to be seen and get a new prescription and they will not see me unless I made an appointment which they did not have until days after. According to the office staff they only see walk-in patients unless its an emergency or urgent. Since when a person out of their medication became secondary? I was truly amaze by their lack of care and simpathy. If your looking for a Dr that actually cares about your well being, this is not the place!!!! read more

Dr Enriquez has been my Physician for about 3 years now. My friends and family kept raving about how great he is. I was sick and my precious physician was booked for 3 months! And could not see me. I was tired of going to urgent care. My previous doctor was never available. She was either on vacation or was booked. So I decided to visit Dr. Enriquez. It is one of the best choices I have ever made. He is very friendly and caring. He takes his time and listens to you. My asthma has been under control since I started seeing him. His patients are his priority. Which is a wonderful thing. You dont often see doctors with so much heart and dedication for their work. I usually get an appointment within a day or two. If its urgent, he takes walk-ins. Which are true life savers. I honestly couldn't recommend a better doctor. The ladies in the front are very professional and work on doctor referrals right away. In conclusion, if you need a good doctor in South Bay visit Dr. Enriquez. You won't regret it. read more
