But I was pleasantly surprised when I walked through those front doors the first time. Covid practices are strictly enforced. I cannot rave enough about how clean and well maintained - and downright brand-new-looking this facility is...it is truly a world unto itself, once you step inside. The doctors are savvy pros. I have been treated with kindness and respect by all of the staff and nurses that I've encountered here. The facility is part of the trusted PROVIDENCE HEALTH NETWORK and, with them, you have access to charts, blood work, progress updates, appointments, RX-refills and reminders...all at the tip of your fingers / online. I have huge respect for my doctor (Wenger) and think this facility is top notch. If your insurance aligns with Providence, you should consider this location.

I couldn't get a refill on my medication without an in person appointment but they can't even properly schedule an appointment for me to be seen? Make it make sense. Not to mention the two times they "made" the appointment it took me 30 minutes on the phone both times. This all started because I felt unsupported by the doctor I was assigned and asked to see someone new. It's the day of my appointment and I got a call nearly 2 hours before I'm due for my appointment to be told they fucked up again and the best they could do was get me in to see an NP. So since both their front desk and doctors seem to lack professionalism I will no longer be getting "care" here. I'm seething, how incompetent and frankly reckless to my overall health and wellbeing.

My wild eyed shocked face made her even more angry as I was exclaiming why are you screaming at me when I'm asking you a question? She said i was standing with my hands on my hips being aggressive accusing her of not doing her job - say what?? I told her I was standing like this when I walked in, and when she took my vitals too, what is she talking about? That's how I stand! The doctor came in later and asked if I was ok (I was still shaking from being called abusive!) and I said no, the nurse went off of me for no reason when I asked about the long wait and he said "I'm not seeing you, you have been discharged from my practice, you need to find another provider". I said oh you don't even want to hear what happened and he said no we don't serve people like you. Wowwww - I'm a woman of color btw and have tattoos on my arms. This is clear discrimination. I was NOT speaking aggressively at all except raising my voice in disbelief and defense about being accused of having my hands on my hips makes me an aggressor, that's literally how I stand. I reiterated several times that I'm not angry I'm asking a question. I did not curse, I did not say anything out of turn. I was 100% respectful. I simply asked a question about why they don't plan for patients taking so long so the folks don't have to wait an hour after their appointment and was berated as an "abuser" who was telling them they're not doing their jobs (never said anything of the sort). I even reiterated that I am giving her feedback as a patient, which she should be considering. No one in the waiting room was happy. A lady had to leave bc she had another appointment and couldn't wait any longer. I have been seeing this doctor as well as the nurse for many years. The nurse has talked on and on about her kid and grand baby which I've always patiently listened to her rantings and have turned the other cheek several times over the years with disrespectful comments about how I have four kids. But enough is enough. Not to mention the fact that I have several heart issues and recently experienced an SVT, I would think any health professional would be concerned with patients health - I was still shaking from the experience with the nurse when he walked in and took a deep sigh and said I wasn't ok when he asked me. How did he respond when I said I wasn't feeling OK? He told me to get out and said he will contact my cardiologist to let them know he has discharged me from his practice. It took a few hours to relax from the whole experience. To note - when they took my vitals (and my hands were on my hips then too while taking weight and standing), blood pressure was 110/64, pulse 68. Clearly not "aggressive" as she claimed. It was such a horrible experience shaking for so long, that even after a few hours, my blood pressure was still elevated - went to the medical center at my employer and it was 150/106 pulse 81. I stayed for a little while until it went down to 134/98. Both of them should not be working in health care with treating a patient this way. If they continue in their practice they definitely need emotional intelligence training

I sent this message To Pyra, You gave Dr. Renaud a bad review based on your experience of the front end office and the provider Health Care Partners. Dr. Renaud is a good guy and a great doctor. I'm sure if you met him you would agree. I've been screwed at several doctor's offices in the past. On numerous occasions I've been kept waiting over an hour past my appointment time and it's put me in a horrible position with my schedule. I understand your feeling, but Dr. Renaud didn't cause your problem. Blast the office in your review or the health care provider. Thanks You should remove your review. It would be like someone being kept waiting at your law firm and giving you a bad personal review because of it.
