I wish I could give this location a negative 5 stars!! I will never come here again!! I do kitchen and bath design for a company located in Los Alamitos. Usually I go to NGY in Santa Ana but they didn't have what I needed in stock and the customer wanted his kitchen done before July 4th. So, I decided to drive all the way here (Chino). I got here at 11:25am. Didn't get to talk to anyone until 12:15pm. I was helped by Judith one of the sales staff. She had almost everything I needed, but they were out of stock of some items. OK, no problem, But when the warehouse manager, Peter in the back (where you pick up your items), was trying WAY TOO HARD to convince me to take two REALLY BADDLY damaged pieces of side panel for the fridge I decided at this point I hate this place. NGY Santa Ana doesn't treat people like this. Now that I can't get the panels there are some items I don't need OR want anymore... I don't need the 1-1/2" return for the fridge panel nor do I need the above the fridge cabinet. In fact I was so frustrated at how badly I was treated in the warehouse by Peter I decided to return almost everything except two items. The manager did not like this and since he has to sign off on the return he left, went about driving a fork lift moving pallets around It. It is now 2:30pm and while I sit on their couch in the lobby waiting yet again for a sales reps I am typing this review. Once I finally got to sit down with one who originally helped me, she is having issues returning the money to my card, she now has to walk back to the warehouse to talk to the manager. I don't understand how hard can it be!? I didn't load any of the items & I never left the facility. Also, they would have made me load all the cabinets myself!! Some of these are extremely heavy!! I finally got the money returned to my credit card and I left. What a huge waist of time!! Don't bother coming here these people suck!! read more

She's a very experienced designer that is very familiar with local codes and regulations and that assists with the designing process. All of my kitchen layouts are done by Maria and they never fail. There are other modular system cabinet companies out there but they pale in comparison quality wise. On Monday I went to rerun some unused extra items. Did all necessary paper work. Waited for back warehouse but the worker states "I don't have time" after waiting for over an hour! Made contact with multiple workers including the lady who handles the warehouse papers work in the back and her colleagues in addition to warehouse employees. Everyone lacked care and ignored my concerns. The management's collective inconsiderance is concerning. I finally get someone's attention. Sent to front office to be issued credit. Told to wait by front desk. Some one walks in afterwards. They were rushed ahead of me despite the fact that it wasn't their turn. If dishonesty, disorganization and distortion was a sport's Olympics, they deserve a gold medal. Unbelievably frustrating experience. I am not a rough person and take great care of my belongings. don't waste your money. you will regret it. .. I noticed this place had a mixture of reviews, some good, some not great, however, my contractor swore by this place and explained to me how they do business. He then told me to go visit their showroom so that I can get a better idea of my kitchen remodel options as NGY has a large and beautiful showroom with full sized displays. He was not wrong! I was really impressed by their showroom and cabinet options. The showroom is open to the public so I didn't need to make an appointment which was great. They have SO MANY cabinets on display. I was leaning towards the white shaker cabinets, but after seeing more options in person, I really like the navy blue shaker cabinets! After my visit, I found it difficult to understand why they had negative reviews. As explained by my contractor, the employees at NGY are not able to give me pricing on products because they are a wholesaler only, which makes sense, and I was told to let my contractor know which cabinets I wanted and that he would then get the details from the sales members. This is a little different, but it makes sense. There is also a lot of clear signs as you enter to guide you, and let you know what you as a homeowner can and cannot do at their location. I sent some photos to my contractor after my visit and he was able to get the information I needed right away. I think a lot of negative reviews are from people who are not NGY clients and from people who don't understand their business model. It seems a bit unfair to this business because my contractor has high praise for them. If you're a homeowner, give this place a visit. Their showroom is absolutely gorgeous. They have full 9 ft. Countertop stones on display, too! Just be aware that you can't get pricing or purchase from the directly. That's all. Maria is super helpful and knowledgeable, she kindly emailed us a PDF of all their sizes/styles ahead of time so we knew exactly what to get for our pantry and laundry area ahead if time. We built and installed the white shaker cabinets ourselves. I was concerned the pantry cabinets would "stick out" too much and dwarf the space, but they are flush and only 12in deep so they are perfect. Drove a country mile with my handyman to this newer location in search of cabinets and granite. On the positive side...the showroom is immaculate. Granite choices are beautiful. Cabinets, sinks, and other accessories are plentiful and attractive. As for customer service...it is beyond non-existent. My handyman and I were here for at least 30 minutes. Employees walked right past us multiple times with not a smile, wink, head nod, greeting, or eye contact. No one ever asked if we needed help. No one person guided us in any direction. Luckily, my handyman gets a hell of a deal on materials here, which is great for both of our pockets. All I had to do was show him what I liked and he will be going back to purchase everything without me. I'd never EVER personally do business with these people!! Sadly, reviews from the Anaheim location say the exact same thing about customer service. Believe every one of them. Service is HORRIBLE. I ordered a full kitchen and they shorted us 1 cabinet, they accused us of possibly damaging the cabinet and saying they didn't give us all material. They gave us material and then they said there was a mistake and took 3 boxes out of the count. When we had all the kitchen cabinets installed there was 1 cabinet missing. They checked the cameras, saw they removed them and still they said they didn't remove the cabinet we needed. I paid for the cabinets and unfortunately all the were installed already. The warehouse manager is lying and insists they did not make a mistake, yet I paid for a cabinet that they kept. read more

Drove an hour from Victorville, wait is about 30 min for a rep. To see you... they're short staffed. Happy go-lucky salesman came up,. Told him I was there to select colors and styles & to get ideas on prices, to stay within a budget. His first question... "are you a contractor"? When I said no, his attitude changed.. he said he couldn't give me any price info unless my contractor was with me... and he refused to help further. I guess they work on commission? Which sucks. That price rule is BS.. because faucets, knobs and sinks have prices written on them! What's the difference?? Why is it "open to the public" If they refuse to assist the "public"? read more
