We just had our master bathroom remodeled along with the flooring and counter in another bathroom by Rocca Tile. We obtained multiple bids and selected this company due to Reyes's professionalism, knowledge and being very detailed. Of all the bids, Reyes was the only one to provide a detailed quote with line items and their associated cost. The other bids, some where a bit lower, provided no details just a lump some for one line item. These type of quotes will usually end uo costing more because it is easy for the contractor to say, it is not included or create tension because disagreements due to the lack of detail. The tile work itself was great, clean and great quality. Julio the installer was very professional and patient as we tended to ask a lot of questions along the process. On multiple occassions he asked if this is the way we wanted things done before he actually set the tile :-) There is nothing more frustrating then someone doing work without asking how you want it, all to have a customer be unhappy and having to do it again. Needed to have a bathroom countertop, sink, and backsplash replaced with new granite. Drove 39 miles to select the granite. Received a proposal from Reyes to do the work. We agreed on the price and I returned the signed proposal to him. He was supposed to start work the following week. I asked him to pick up the deposit and provide a copy of his insurance certificate. He never responded. Several days later, he emailed me and told me he couldn't do the job. What a waste of time this has been. Here are a couple of warnings to those of you considering Rocca Tile: 1. Reyes is unreliable. He doesn't return calls and then backs out at the last minute. Is this a good use of your time? 2. By law, Rocca Tile can't request a deposit for more than 10% or $1,000 whichever is less. Don't give Reyes any more than the law allows. 3. Ask for their insurance certificate. He may not have liability or Workers Comp insurance. read more

The job was completed on time, and on budget. The work crews were knowledgable and professional. From the cabinet crew to the electrician to the granite layers, everyone was pleasant and efficient in their work. I purchased a town house which was remodeled before I purchased. About 6 months into moving in, we discovered a water leak on the wall located on the other side of the shower room. So I called the plumber and it turns out the shower room was remodeled without the water seal under the tiles that water is leaking out of different places in the shower room. Fortunately, plumber knew a lot of about how shower room is made so he told us that I can get someone to re-do the bottom of the shower room so they can put water seal under. I called a few contractors and tile companies and some just never showed up to the appointment (which is never a good sign so I didn't even call them back). And some said they can not just re-do the bottom of the shower room and quoted us for a whole shower room remodel for almost $10k. Then I reached Rocca Tile & Granite for help. Mr. Reyes came on time for appointment, and gave us a quote to re-do the bottom of the shower room with water seal. It took me a little while to go and find the matching tiles to the rest of tiles in the shower but I appreciated that I can find my own tiles since I was able to get them in discounted price. Super disappointed. After reading good reviews on Yelp, I went to the showroom on a Friday. Talked to someone and set up an appointment to get a quote for a full bathroom remodel the following Monday between 9-10 am. Nobody came so at 10:30 I called to check if they were still on their way. A very nice gentleman responded and came out within 30 minutes (there were no records of my appointment made the prior Friday). He took measurements and I provided my email address to get a quote. That was Monday... on Wednesday afternoon my husband came home early (and we hadn't heard back from anyone) so we went to the showroom, during business hours, and it was closed. My husband left a message on their phone inquiring about the quote and asking for a call back. We've not heard from anyone. I'm not sure how long a quote normally takes, but it's been 5 days and after calling and trying to stop in, I'm done. ZERO communication is a HUGE disappointment. read more

We had our kitchen remodeled recently and we are very pleased with the work. We replaced all existing kitchen cabinets with custom made and upgraded countertops to granite. We were worried since it was our first big project and have heard stories about bad remodels and contractors but Scott and Reyes stood up to their promise of quality work. Mr. Reyes of Rocca Tile & Granite did a kitchen remodel, flooring, built-ins, fireplace makeover, and guest bath vanity. We had been working with a contractor from Orange County and the bid was just too high for our budget. Many of our neighbors have had Rocca Tile & Granite do some projects so we asked for a quote. We are so happy. Mr. Reyes was very easy to work with. We wanted shaker style cabinets but I wanted a bit of an angle to reduce the dust. He created an example for me and we loved it. He started when he said he would and kept in touch with me as the project proceeded. I started to think of things during the project and he accommodated me (How about a drawer that my crockpot can fit in). His workers Alvaro and Miguel were very nice to have around and their workmanship was first rate. I never felt uncomfortable leaving them at my house and they were nice to my dog who was allowed to stay home while they worked. Miguel did some incredible work with my baseboards at corners and at a step. When Mr. Reyes' plumber was sick on the day my kitchen sink was to be connected to water, he went above and beyond and sent another plumber so I could have water for the weekend. His cabinet makers created built-ins just as I envisioned. I wanted drawers, shelves, and a cabinet that included file drawers. I basically drew and picture and they delivered. They turned out very nice. If I ever had an issue or problem, he found a solution without ever being defensive or making me feel like I was asking for too much. The project moved right along on schedule. I was purchasing my own flooring, back spalsh, sink, faucets, etc. and Mr. Reyes and I had great communication as to when my assignments were due! We did our kitchen counters and they look fantastic. They were on time and did what they said they would, you get what you pay for. Reyes was great to work with.
