I first found Charles when I had flooding due to rain intrusion in 2023. He did drywall, paint, and flooring for me and did an amazing job. Fast forward to 2025 and I had a hidden leak under my kitchen sink that lead to mold growth in the walls and in the bedroom below the kitchen. Charles saved the day again by coming in and redoing flooring, installing drywall, painting, and rebuilding the closet from studs, installing a brand new kitchen, and installing new carpeting in all of the bedrooms. As always his prices were the most reasonable and he worked with me to make sure my picky tastes were satisfied! His price was almost half the quote that another company that my insurance suggested gave me. His guys do great work and he has no problem coming back to fix anything that needs to be addressed. I hired Charles based on these reviews. Unfortunately, in the middle of the project we found out he misrepresented his license. He is not a general contractor and only has a license to do tiling. We have had a general contractor and a plumber in to review his work and they have found several issues that are not up to code. We are having to redo the electrical work and the plumbing because they were not done correctly. The walls surrounding our bathtub have not been properly water proofed and has to be redone. He is cheap and if you don't know better, everything looks fine. So glad we were able to catch these issues before it was too late. read more

He also did a great job of cleaning up after himself. Charles followed up throughout the process when necessary to make sure things were going as planned, and was there to make sure the finished product was satisfactory. When we found a few small details that needed to be touched up, he came and did it himself if necessary. Bottom line is, it is always nerve racking to have work done on your home - worrying about trusting the workers, quality, who will answer those last minute questions or changes, standing behind their prices, etc. I can say that Charles is a very honest and trustworthy person, who clearly understands that his business is dependent upon not only quality and pricing, but excellent customer service. We found ourselves unexpectedly needing our master bathroom worked on due to a leak. I contacted 4 companies to do the work. 3 companies gave us bids. We had a mold problem caused by a water leak in our bathroom that resulted in an insurance claim which we took the opportunity to remodel our bathroom. The area of work was a Bathroom, a vanity area outside the bathroom and a attached walk in closet. Charles and his team worked with us as we went through a competitive bid process to get exactly what we want (with permits). We found several different contractors that were better fits in different areas (tile, cabinets, drywall/texture/paint, and countertops) however Charles' team did the heavily lifting with the electrical and mechanical. The scope of work entailed significant rewiring to a sub panel to make room for three new 20 amp circuits (two new heater exhaust fans (one for each bathroom) and a new 20 amp circuit to the bathroom). Re-piping a floor drain for a shower (through cement), installing a thermostatic valve and repositioning a shower head, installing hot and cold water lines for a bidet, extending a wall and installing two doors, installing a new sliding mirror door for the closet, installing a new shower door, a new expansion tank, new lighting, insulation, large medicine cabinet, repositioning AC vents, and a considerable number of new outlets and switches to fully bring the spaces up to code. His team did a wonderful job working through all of the details and making sure that everything was accounted for, he even personally assisted in helping with the drawings (by hand) for the permit packages (instead of outsourcing saving us easily $2k). He was flexible with scheduling and personally checked on the job site every single day to make sure everything was going according to plan. I believe once the work started we actually finished the day we projected (including with the four other countertops). The whole project took less than a month to complete, which is impressive considering the number of permit inspections we had. We had Charles and his team remove the old tile and replace it with luxury vinyl plank flooring. The team did a fantastic job! Here's what I liked: - Always called me back and communicated. I ordered my flooring from Flooret, and they delayed the delivery a couple of times. Each time I had to coordinate a new potential schedule. Charles always worked around that constraint and followed up. - The job was quick and scheduling happened fast. One of my biggest concerns for this project is having flooring delivered followed by a long delay to install (it is a small place, so having flooring laying around for weeks would have been a challenge). I also have a newborn - so having construction for several days wouldn't be ideal either. The job was scheduled quickly and they finished in a couple of days. The guys doing the job always showed up on time (actually always early) and they hustled. They also cleaned up after. - Fair price. We got an estimate quickly and the final bill was for what we had agreed (or really within range). Sidenote: Charles also worked with my in-laws to remodel their whole kitchen and install vinyl flooring. He did a great job with their place, which is why I decided to work with him in the first place. read more
