I looked into the garage and saw that our large/double-wide garage door had stopped closing about a foot or two above the ground. No problem, I think. I'll just push the button and finish the job. Nope. The door tried going back up and then twisted, threw a roller, twisted a bracket and stopped dead. A quick examination revealed that this was beyond my ability to fix. I called Independent Overhead Door at around 8:45 a.m., the owner picked up the phone and said he'd be over in 30-40 minutes. And he was! He looked everything over and had it fixed in an hour or two, including replacing a busted cable. He straightened the bracket that was twisted (because he did not have a replacement on his truck) so that we'd have the use of the door over the weekend, but promised to return the following Monday with a new bracket. He showed up Monday, replaced the bracket and now things are working as good as new!

When I questioned, they gave me two other lower cost options, one that didn't include the exterior keypad and one that didn't have a warranty. Even these seemed a bit high. When I called American Garage Door & Glass, they gave me a quick verbal quote over the phone that included the pad, wifi access and a warranty and was still less than the lowest price option from the other company. I got one more estimate that was in the same range but decided to go with AGD&G based on the reviews. It was easy to get on the schedule, they just showed up and the install took a little over an hour. The price was exactly as verbally quoted, no surprises whatsoever. The new garage door opener works great! It's quiet, easy to use and the wifi connectivity will come in very handy. Excellent experience. I would highly recommend.

Doors look great. We secured 3 separate quotes and American was competitive. They measured for the doors. We paved the driveway after and instead rushing to order the doors and get paid they suggested remeasuring after the driveway was paved. On top of their game and a sure recommendation here. I strongly suggest you consider them for a quote and install.
