I went in for a walk-in pedicure on Saturday 3/28 and was seated fairly quickly, which I appreciated. However, my experience quickly went downhill once the service began. It took about 5-10 minutes for the technician to come over and start. When she asked how short I wanted my toenails trimmed, I clearly explained that if they were cut too short, I tend to get ingrown toenails--especially on both sides of my big toes. Despite this, while trimming my left big toenail, she used cuticle cutters to cut deeply into both sides of the nail. It was extremely painful, and I was visibly uncomfortable the entire time. Although she applied antiseptic afterward, the damage had already been done. When she moved on to the other foot, I was so concerned about a repeat of that pain that I told her I didn't have issues with that nail, even though I actually do. I never asked for ingrown toenail treatment--only that my nails not be cut too short--so this was both unexpected and upsetting. Today, my left big toe is red, swollen, and painful to walk on. I've been applying bacitracin and keeping it covered, but it's clearly irritated from being cut too aggressively. Unfortunately, I will not be returning. This experience was painful and avoidable, and it felt like there was a significant miscommunication during the service that led to it. read more

Worst nails I've ever received. They rushed the acrylic nail service so much it only took about 25 minutes. Not only did they not cut my cuticle and left my thumb bleeding, but they do not use clean tools, and completley ignored my requests. I asked for long, round tip nails. He did the exact opposite of what I wanted, I told him 10 times that he was doing it backwards and he insisted that he wasn't, or maybe he just thought it would look better. But still, I tried to get him to switch it and he insisted that he was right so I just shut up and let him finish. They're cute still, but not what I wanted. This nail shop is BEAUTIFUL. All of the chairs, fixtures and decor look new and clean. There are so many colors and glitters to choose from! I opted for a paraffin pedicure and felt well taken care of from start to finish. First, the chair was clean and the massage functions worked wonderful. Second, all of the bowl and tools were sanitary. Third, the person servicing me listened to my concerns of sensitive skin. Finally, they did a great job painting, massaging and getting me out the door. I will say that this place is quite expensive compared to others. It would be nice to see a military discount, but, the quality will keep me coming back. FYI- there is a 1.5% fee for credit cards. They provide an ATM with a 50¢ fee. read more

Customer service was horrible. I booked an appointment only to be waiting an hr past that appointment time. When they finally got to my nails, the tech was rushing through a did a horrific job. I mean really bad. I expressed throughout the process that the shape looks off and the filing job looks lumpy. I was told it was normal based on my nail shape. absolutely no accountability. It's a beautiful salon...and that's where it ends. Detached salon owners who let their wild toddler run around causing havoc...the owners are always distracted and in loud conversation the entire time you're getting your nails done, so never consistent or diligent, yet taking a lot of money is never an issue. Their website claims they are clean and all of their tools completely sterilized..a total lie..in addition, their child is constantly taking all tools and equipment and throwing them on the floor, not being sterilized afterwards. This is not a daycare center..getting nails done should be a relaxing experience, not having to be subjected to a screaming kid who is not given any toys, playpens or any means of mental stimulation..she is not being watched and has been known to bite! These owners care about money and money only and charge different prices every time you go in. NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL!! read more

Just no. My nail tech was not friendly, and did a bad job. I totally get it if there is a language barrier but zero effort was made to find out how I wanted my service. The whole process was rushed and several steps were skipped. No filing of my nails and no buffing - polish was then thrown on slap dash, the tech used her fingers to try to tidy the edges of the polish instead of an orange stick, so the job looked raggedy. I removed the polish as soon as I got home. Just a horrible job - and then expensive on top of it. Will stick to Perfection Nail Spa in the future. read more

I won't be going back. I have been going since last fall. I was going to the same nail tech. I always make an appointment. When I went 3 weeks ago, of course I had a different nail tech. because mine left. When I made an appointment for last week I was told that nail tech. was now gone. The person I had last week did my nail dip in 40 min. They were so crowed at the time of my appointment. The nails on my left hand are shorter than my right hand. Some of the nail tech's were working on two people. They should be letting people know who don't have an appointment the wait will be an hour or more. When you sign in their computer doesn't even ask if you have an appointment and what time so they can check it against their bookings. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Around the first week of January I had called to see if a certain nail tech was In because she had great reviews. The response I received was " she's not here. We all do nails here.. not the answer I was expecting but I continued to schedule a appointment. As it came time for my appointment I walked in and they looked up at me and said nothing. I then waited at the counter for assistance still not being greeted and finally someone asks me what I'm there for. I told her I had scheduled a appointment at the specific time and then they looked at me confused and continued to communicate in a different language amongst each other and then said check in - in a way as if I was meant to automatically know that is what I was supposed to do. After that they said nothing else and I continued to walk over to the display of nail polish to choose a color. After it was well past my appointment another customer came in and they immediately greeted her and sat her down. Then another came in and they sat them down as well. By this point I'm just looking around in amazement of the horrible customer service I was receiving or ig not receiving at all... oh and guess what? Another customer walked in and a tech got out of his chair and helped her choose a color for her nails standing right next to me still not saying anything to me as if I was a ghost and then sat her down. I looked around once more grabbed my things and went to the nail salon down the road and received excellent customer service. Yes in the moment of me being in this new nail salon I could have walked up to a tech to ask why I have not been serviced yet but why should I 'remind' them of me walking in on time to a appointment I scheduled with them, not receiving a " hello welcome in" instead of judging eyes and confusion of not being organized enough about them servicing a client with a appointment along with treating everyone else that walked in with respect and service. I absolutely will never come back here and will continue to let anyone know the type of service I had if they ask me about this place since it is right next to my job. I am obsessed with this nail salon. Went in late with my Best friend to get a mani. Xu was extremely nice and did an amazing job! After 3 wks my nails have not chipped, lifted, or faded! Love this place. Too bad I don't live closer. read more
