When I showed them a photo of my ID and even offered to fax it to them for a physical copy, it wasn't good enough. I asked for a refund of my deposit, but they refused. Nowhere in the shop does it state they require IDs, and there's no mention of a no-refund policy. I had to involve the police department, and after the commotion, the shop owner agreed to refund my $60 deposit to my wife, who then used it to get a mini tattoo. This shop is absolutely trash and was unfortunately recommended to me. We only completed the transaction so we wouldn't lose the deposit. I highly recommend Electric City in Scranton instead--a better shop with nicer people, cleaner work, and cheaper prices. I've never had issues there, despite having over a hundred hours of ink. I'll post this review on every Northeast PA and PA tattoo group page to warn others about this shop's prioritization of profits over customer satisfaction."

I first found Stygian Gallery because I wanted a tattoo from Tony Mancia. I was able to coordinate all of my plans with Charlie, the shop manager. He basically had every answer I needed before I asked - prior to my arrival. I was fortunate enough to get my entire back done by Tony over 8 sessions and while it was a daunting task, the only thing I needed to worry about was sitting still. Tony and Charlie (as it would be with any artist at Stygian) made sure I was comfortable for all roughly 55 hours we worked together. From asking if I wanted some water to ensuring the Gallery was clean and welcoming... I mean I honestly could not have had a more pleasant experience. What was the best is that even after a long day tattooing, Tony was more than ready to name 5 places for me to go eat. Charlie and Tony are always punctual and strive to make sure things are done the right way. I am getting my left arm done later this year and I cannot wait to see them again.

I picked up two prints of Tony's work and they're by far the best art I have in my house! I had a total of 8 appointments here with Tony M. who completed my leg sleeve. Not only is he one of the most professional tattoo artists I've ever met (I've worked in the tattoo industry for about 10 years, so that is saying something!) but his talent is out of this world! As awkward as it can be at times completing a leg sleeve, Tony was very respectful! I flew from Seattle for each set of appointments and it was more than worth it. Looking forward to getting on Tony's books for my second leg! Being hundred of miles away before meeting Tony and visiting the shop in person I was skeptical. I'm not sure if I would have followed through if it wasn't for my first chat with Charlie the studio manager. Charlie was so helpful and all of my skepticism vanished. He was so professional and helped me through the in's and out's of scheduling while out of state. I've never had this long of a review before!
