Very nice people running this store. Not only do they sell watches, rings, etc., they also can design and create jewelry. They also do watch repair, which is what I've frequently used them for, as I collect watches. With that, they do a fantastic job. I can't tell you how many jewelry stores I've been in in my lifetime, and the majority of them come off with this snobbish attitude like they're judging whether or not you're qualified to even be in their store, let alone buy anything. Not so with Niche. These people are the most down-to-earth, caring people. I'll never take my jewelry and watch business anywhere else. read more

I am always on the lookout for a local jeweler as I don't like supporting the huge chain jewelers who can't fix much, and I'm so glad I found this place and it's close to the house. I have taken multiple pieces into this duo and always have quality craftsmanship in return. They have put new backs on my earrings which I never knew was a thing, resized two rings, one being extremely delicate as it's a family heirloom and gave me money for the backs of my earrings since they were gold after they cut off the old backs. They are always pleasant and easy to talk too. I believe they make custom jewelry, so if you're in need of an engagement ring or wedding ring stop in to see them. I have an engagement ring that we bought at Dolgin's more than 40 years ago. I wore it between two gold bands, and over the years the bands wore the shank of the engagement ring down. When the ring started feeling like it was cutting my finger, I quit wearing it. I always wanted to get the shank fixed, the ring resized, and all three rings soldered together, so that the same thing wouldn't happen again. I had been assured by another local jeweler that the repair which I envisioned would not be able to be done. He suggested tearing the ring apart and doing a redesign. There was one bit of trouble; I loved my ring. All I wanted for my birthday this year was a repaired ring. I took it to Niche. William didn't seem the least bit bothered by my request, and he assured me that he could do it. He also suggested repronging the center stone. Two weeks later, I have my newly restored ring. It looks even better than I imagined it. William has my business forever! This is a friendly store with a highly professional staff. They also take Covid 19 precautions seriously. As an older adult, I am very Covid cautious. I felt perfectly comfortable in Niche Jewelry. I am so thankful to have my ring again. It looks better than new. read more

Just had another baby- went into Niche Jewelry to see about getting some gemstones added to my wife's maternity ring. We talked about some designs and the store owner said he'd get me a computer image of what the ring might look like. It took three weeks longer to get the computer image then he said it would, but it was over the holidays so that makes sense. My wife didn't like the computer image and so we asked for the ring back. He gave it back- but charged us $125 for generating the computer image. Said it could be used as credit if we changed our minds. Later we found out most places generate a computer image for free. Nice guy, looks like he does good work. Just didn't know he would charge so much for the design itself. He didn't disclose it beforehand. read more

Thief! I coudn't prove it because I had a small but perfect old cut diamond ring. I asked if it was secure & he said it needed "1" new prong. I was out of the country a month & when I returned to pick it up, the lady handed it to me & I immediately said this is not my diamond, it has a large carbon spot, it is a newer cut and it has "4" new prongs & I asked for only 1 new prong. He had to replace all 4 to switch the diamond. He heard & before he even got to me he said something like "you can see a dark spot in the photos we take before you leave them". After a month of handling diamonds for his store and other people's diamonds, he remembers 1 spot in 1 diamond ring?! I couldn't prove it because I never had it appraised as the diamond was small and only after learned how valuable it was!!! Of course he will be honest with those who he can't deceive. I took silver to him regularly to be tested so he new I bought used items & assumed I had just bought that & didn't have an appraisal, so he showed his true character and stole it. Thief beware! Never take anything there that you cannot prove is not replaced with a poorer or smaller stone! Never!! read more
