Do not buy from moshiri. It was the worse experience I have ever had. I bought a 15k ring and the diamonds fall out every time I wear the ring. The owner says it is because I am not use to wearing the ring. The diamonds are not set properly and when I looked with a microscope I can see even the big diamond isnt set properly so now I am scared to wear the ring. In my wedding pictures 2 small diamonds fell out. He won't stand buy his work he is so rude. Please run from this business. It isn't worth the headache. I had the misfortune of having my jewelry completely fall apart after they claimed to have fixed it. The woman owner is absolutely horrific. She should NOT be in this business. The man (husband?) is lovely, though. There was zero accountability for the problem they caused, and she had the nerve to ask US not to come back. Believe me, we never want to step foot in there again. Their other negative reviews confirm this is the wrong place to take your business. I purchased a watch from Homi (Moshiri Jewelry owner) of which only lasted 1month from the date of purchase GARBAGE!! I sent the watch back to Moshiri Jewelry to have it fixed or replaced and Homi the store owner said that he received the package but there was no watch in the package and said that someone had stolen it! and said that he couldn't do anything for me! My fiancé bought my engagement ring here because his brother had such a great experience designing his ring for his wife. My ring is fantastic and exactly what I wanted. There was a slight imperfection with the alignment of my center diamond and they were quick to fix it at no charge. The staff is very pleasant and extremely easy to work with. I highly recommend Moshiri! When my husband proposed he used my great grandmothers ring, it has a unique shape and we weren't sure what kind of wedding band would work with it. We had gone into a few chain stores and had been disappointed in the selection. We went to Moshiri and talked with the owner, they suggested that a custom design might work better for what we needed. I'm really disappointed with Moshiri. My husband and I had been loyal customers for 7 years, even after we moved out of state. Whenever we came back to Kansas we would always make a stop to have our rings cleaned and dipped. On our last visit Homi mentioned they were having a sale on bands, an addition to my wedding ring that I had always wanted. I mentioned to him that I've always wanted a matching A.Jaffe band, he showed me a band that was similar. After discussing that I wanted A.Jaffe and I wanted it to match exactly to what I had, he assured me that it would match and they could look up our prior purchase to get dimensions exactly. I even left my band with him for a night to make sure they had all measurements (designer) correct. After a few weeks my ring was delivered, and it was a custom made ring and it didn't match my current band at all! Not only that the quality of the metal was questionable because I could see some rippling on the base below the set diamonds. My husband and I called Homi and mentioned that it wasn't what we had ordered, he gave us a song and dance and had a lot of excuses. I tried reminding him that he promised it would match and he never mentioned it would be custom made. He was very rude and difficult on the phone and said we had to pay a 25% restocking fee if we returned. The conversation ended when he hung up on us. I can't believe how incredibly rude and awful the customer service is this company provides. I decided to keep the ring and try to sell it on my own, there's no way I'm giving this guy the ring and an additional $250. read more

This is a very unique jewelry store! The owners work very hard to make their customers feel comfortable and they treat you fabulously, whether you're spending $100 or $10,000. I, for one, tend to get a bit wary in jewelry stores; most make me feel as if I'm being sized up, but never at Moshiri. They always take plenty of time to explain the details of the various pieces I'm interested in. They offer European styled items seldom seen at the chain stores and they offer custom work that results in one of a kind pieces unlike anything, anywhere. RUN FAST! Do NOT visit Moshiri Jewelry for ANY of your Jewelry needs. They are scam artists. We were quoted $2500.00 for a ring and when we got home, noticed they charged us $2550.00 on the receipt. Tried calling and emailing the owner FIVE times and five days later, have yet to receive a response. We returned to the store today to simply return the ring, and even offered to pay a re-stocking fee. The owner stated he would only give us $2200.00 back IF the ring were to sell. Leaving us to eat $602.00. He plans on collecting sales tax TWICE on the same item which is ILLEGAL. I have heard from another customer that the stone he sold her was FAKE. I wish I could give negative stars. The comments on google regarding custom work and diamond promises are TRUE!! I was a very good customer for 7 years and Homi the owner still acted exactly as described in the earlier comments. In my situation the custom ring did come out as I expected, it was the diamond that is questionable. He promised a certain color and clarity and we agreed on the price. After waiting almost 2 months for the diamond when I had already paid him $20,000 and given my wedding rings for trade, he did not allow us to see the stone before it was put into the setting. We went to pick the ring up, the diamond was set and a copy of a diamond certificate was given. After looking at the ring a little while longer I realized that this can't be the specs that it was agreed upon. I then had 2 independent graduate gemologists appraise the ring, and as I suspected it was 5 grades lower than promised. After then searching online for what this stone should have really cost, we came across some listings on ebay for diamonds. Then one of the certificates seemed oddly familiar, it is the same certificate that Homi gave me with my diamond! And the full retail price matches what the 2 appraisers had stated which was $10,000 less than what I paid. After trying to discuss this with Homi, he was being completely unreasonable and stated he was the one that was offended. He then tried to show me comparisons in price but was using the grading of what I was supposed to get, not what I had in my possession. When you discuss ordering diamonds with him, he makes you believe that he will get whatever you want and exchange until you are happy. THIS IS NOT THE CASE! He will then tell you that your appraiser has hawk eyes and that she shouldn't be able to see the inclusions. He then contacted my appraiser after I had sent him proof hoping he would make this situation correct, and was borderline harassing her to change her official report to what he claimed he sold. I have tried several times to resolve this situation with Homi, but he refuses to give me a refund on the diamond. Any reputable dealer has a policy that allows you to have the stone looked at and returned if it isn't as described. He did eventually offer to consider some sort of resolution if I had a jeweler remove the stone (which no one want's to do because they don't want to be blamed for anything), sent to him, and then he would try to buy another stone for over $10,000 less than what I had paid. Then I would have to pay someone else to set the new stone that would cost over $500 due to the setting and the platinum. Then he tried to change the amount he gave me on my trades to reduce the overall amount of money he does rightfully owe me. It's downright fraud. He not once has produced or has tried to prove that the stone I have is the stone on the certificate he gave me. read more
