I'll start off by stating that I do not often leave reviews, however I feel the need to proclaim how much of a blessing it has been working with Kent Lucas from Niche Motors. I was seeking to find my perfect dream car, a Mazda Miata, and I found Kent through a Miata sale listing that he had posted. I did not end buying that specific Miata, however Ken worked with me to assist me in finding my dream car. Kent is extremely knowledge about all things Miata, and he helped me narrow down the perfect year and trim package Miata that met my desires. He's extremely professional, but also personable, and really just a nice, "normal" guy. Kent was incredibly responsive to correspondence, and always available. He's well spoken, and a very intelligent individual. I honesty want to remain friends with the guy on a personal level after working with him to help me find my dream car. BUYER BEWARE!! First let me say, I understand purchasing a used vehicle is always a gamble. THIS IS MUCH MORE THAN ROLLING THE DICE!! I purchased a BMW X1 in March. Since I purchased it there have been issues. I have brought them up to the salesman and the owner. Issues such as selling the car with the wrong size tires. Causing all of them to bubble, and one to ultimately blow. So very unsafe, not to mention having to put 4 new tires, easy for roadside, and a tow. Then there is the transmission. I alerted Cory my salesman less than a week afterI purchased the BMW that the transmission was leaking. I was assured it was gone over. I contacted him numerous other times, and was finally put in touch with the tech. About a month later (and not getting anywhere with Cory) spoke to the person/tech that I was told "goes over" all of Niche Motors BMW's. I took it in to a reputable shop only to discover.. CV Axel Joint is broken and combusted on the passengers side (tech also notated this was an old issue before my purchase) Upon opening the closed system the car was leaking, oil, and transmission fluid (just as I told them from the beginning). The transmission fluid was BLACK AND BURNT. The clutch plate is also burned up from the transmission fluid being on it for so long. This is the same BWM I was assured was gone over and in good shape, These are very serious safety issues. Now I am left with a car I can not drive, and a dealership that does not care. read more

This business is amazing! Highly recommend. I went to get an oil change on my 2010 C300 first and the tire place told me what they had found which was basically a rusted and cracked sub frame. They said it was unfixable and recommended me selling my car and getting a new one. I went to Niche motors after being recommended through a friend that took his Range Rover there over the dealership! I messaged them on Instagram and they responded quickly. They gave me solutions figured out all the information and potential cost so I wasn't shocked at the end. Communicated throughout the process and now my car drives silky smooth! I live in Asheville, NC and purchased a car fro Niche Motors in Brentwood, TN. I dealt with Kent Lucas on the sale. My pre-buy experience was outstanding, Kent was extremely helpful and courteous but what made the experience exceptional was the post-buy assistance. Seems a tire pressure sensor was malfunctioning which Niche had paid a tire dealer (national chain) to replace. Kent stepped in, contacted the tire dealer and had them discuss the situation with a branch in Asheville to resolve the problem. I recommend Niche and Kent with no reservations. read more

I just completed a long distance transaction for an Audi A5 with this company. The salesperson I worked with was Kory. Found car on eBay Motors for a great price, item description indicated it had been "inspected and serviced and is 100% complete." Initially, Kory was quick to reply to correspondence and was helpful re: deposit. However, about the time I got the inspection done, things seemed to change. Audi Nashville did an excellent and thorough inspection (including photos) plus fixed several issues under warranty that they identified. They also noted $1700 in repairs including a need for new brakes and rotors on both axles, wiper blades and tire possibly out of round, which is a long ways from "complete" in my mind. Kory's reply was that inspections pick up "every little thing," but having well functioning brakes hardly seems to fit that description. Upon agreement to have these items fixed and a modest reduction in price, I made an appt to fly in from Denver to Nashville to pick up the car. Kory and I exchanged several calls, texts, and emails arranging details with Kory. Kory was over an hour late to meet me, no call, no reason and most importantly no apology while in the meantime I had been frantically working every point of contact I could. (I called Evan, the owner, who was unfortunately on vacation out of state and couldn't help me. He gave me the # of Adam, another salesperson there in the office. Curiously, he didn't offer to contact Kory himself; I realize he was on vacation but he is also the owner of the company. I too own a small business and it comes with the territory.) Anyway, once Kory finally arrived, I asked for the receipts for the repairs (brakes and wiper blades) and he said he'd email those later. Umm...no. Not what we agreed on. So I waited while he obtained those before completing paperwork. Last but not least, I asked him right before leaving to verify when I might expect title. He had told me a week or less right before I left to retrieve the vehicle. But suddenly, due to the owner being gone (surely this was anticipated?) it is now two weeks or more as apparently there's not an alternate to take care of title work. Long story short, I was hopeful. I wanted to love this experience. This was my first long-distance buy and I did my homework and then some getting reports, checking ratings, etc. So far I do really like the car, but can't say the same for the process.
