It's great to see small businesses opening up and offering options besides chain restaurants/coffee shops! Nichim is cozy but cute. There are various items for sale by other local vendors- goat soap bars, honey, etc. The organic coffee is imported from Mexico. The prices are rather steep, especially for Yuma. A small 16oz latte starts at $6.50. If you're a black coffee/cold brew drinker, then prices are reasonable. If you're like me and you prefer some milk/flavor, then add $1 for oat milk. Another .50 for flavored syrup= $8.50 for a 16oz spiced iced brown sugar latte. It was a good latte, but $8.50 is too much and I can see that being hard to justify for most folks. read more

What a sweet find! I'm so glad this place is open all summer. They use and sell organic Colombian and Mexican coffee. So many vegan and food specialty options. Tons of creative latté and tea options, and also super cute local vendor goodies for sale (honey, bags, wall art, jewelry). There's a great selection of vegan and gluten free (and standard variety) treats! S'smores brownies and more! Super friendly, great service with cool spaces inside to hang out, inside or outside with a view of the "mountain." read more

Definitely my favorite "cup of coffee" place !!! The first impression is very good -- and it's really good still : 1. Good coffee 2. Good service (very personable) 3. Good location (away from busy areas of Yuma - and right off the highway) 4. Charming ambience (rustic & boutique yet modern touch of decor & lively vibes) 6. Great net-working idea to represent to local businesses (merchandises in this coffee shop). I really enjoyed the experience here for a quick coffee & pastry stop. The coffee was definitely good -- the cinnamon rolls are most definitely a favorite (only after the Café Latte). The cookies were delicious (tasted later with my family in San Diego. Even better, I had a chance to chat with the owner, Karime, who is very nice and shared a lot of good information about her business & her passion as a small business owner. I really appreciated the insider perspective -- perhaps, it helps with the more appreciation of the coffee & the experience -- Kudos ! Hope there are more travelers would make an effort to seek out small independent & local businesses to support. It's good for the local community. They also offer their hypnotic brews to go for that long road trip or for that extra pick-me up. Located in the City of Yuma's Fortuna Foothills Nichim Cafe has more than meets the eye. Besides amazing drinks and food, they also offer a variety of items including custom made crosses, clothing, and other items. Their restaurant is always clean and well kept. My husband stumbled on this gem of a coffee shop last week and was super impressed so I was excited to try it out today. The owners are SO friendly and Knowledgeable about coffee and their shop is super clean and cute!! Then there is the coffee!! This is the cutest - homiest cafe. The food is what you would get from your mom's kitchen. The sweet treats are individually packaged so you can scoop by and get gas next door and come get your coffee and snacks. The woman working the front was so kind and patient. Very cute and comfortable cafe to catch up with an old friend. Delicious food and drinks. I had an iced mocha and avocado toast, friend had dirty Chai and yogurt something or other. Presentation was pretty and everything was tasty. I don't like very sweet drinks and the owner assured me the mocha wouldn't be - she was right, it was perfect. Best iced dirty chai I've had. Was passing through and opened maps to find a coffee shop and spotted this gem with ORGANIC COFFEE. Nicest lady working inside who went into detail on where they get their chai from.
