They serve a healthy menu with a variety of options sandwiches/wraps, breakfast options, vegan, kids menu, smoothies, lemonade, coffees, alcohol (after 4pm) etc. I ordered a BALT sandwich meal combo--included fries or chips + lemonade (w/flavor options). No big deal, I thought. But the sandwich was served up on fresh sourdough and the bacon was chopped up into tiny pieces so it was so easy to eat without tugging, and served with avocado slices, tomato, lettuce and the right amount of mayo ratio (which was important). The homemade lemonade was a treat. And I had the garlic fries--delicious! As mentioned, I'm still thinking about how good that sandwich was. The place isn't huge but they seat a lot of people. Try this sandwich shop--it will not disappoint!

The young ladies working the register during the day are rude and disrespectful, while the night staff was outstanding. They were friendly, professional, and provided the kind of customer service every guest should receive. One thing that was especially disappointing was hearing day staff assume customers didn't understand Spanish and speaking about them in Spanish. That is unprofessional and not a good reflection of your business. The food is excellent, but the daytime customer service could definitely use improvement. I hope this feedback helps, because the quality of the food deserves service that matches it.

That's the best possible word for my experiences! The impeccable experience was from beginning to end a delight. Beautifully executed to elevate the circumstances of its students from not just a cooking school.. but a well rounded culinary, food safety curriculum aiming to guide participants even through the hiring process. The menu takes into consideration a broad palate to appeal to many! Diabetic friendly options abound which many of us need! Nothing is by accident! While I would like to have tried several entrees I opted for a tuna Relleno trio. Now that combination of flavors and textures was a surprise. It was good nutrition. I realized it was actually a dish I could replicate at home perhaps including a few additions like finely diced bell peppers in red yellow or Orange to the filling! Perhaps some red onion as well atop the melted cheese draped over each Relleno. Not a typical regional Relleno but a healthy one indeed! Tiramisu..... I craved an espresso on the side to quickly dunk it in! Still frozen.... Delicious but here again not at all typical! I've got to hand it to the Candie and Amanda and all others who might be considered as contributors to the creation of this Culinary and Community Gem! Being here elevated my soul! And I pray that for many years it sets a high bar in the mission serving fellow man.... Elegantly Elevating their vision from depths of dispair!

It's a quaint little place that's great for small groups or a quiet meal with someone. We stopped in for the lunch special, which comes with soup, your choice of entrée, and either white or fried rice. I ordered the sesame chicken, while my partner had the beef and broccoli. My sesame chicken was cooked perfectly--tender, flavorful, and not overly crispy or hard like it can sometimes be. It was just right. The only thing that missed the mark for me was the fried rice. The peas and carrots tasted a little cold, which threw off the texture and flavor. Next time I'll probably stick with the white rice like my husband always does. Service was prompt, and we never felt forgotten. A gentleman, who I assume was the owner or manager, stopped by to check on us, and I noticed they greeted customers as they came in, which always leaves a good impression. The atmosphere is quiet, cozy, and comfortable. Even though the restaurant was busy, it wasn't crowded or noisy, making it easy to enjoy a nice lunch and conversation. Overall, it's a solid lunch spot with friendly service and good food. I'd happily come back again. Four stars from me.

However, the flavors were a bit bland. With all the great reviews, I expected a little more. I ordered the $9.95 lunch special with broccoli beef, white rice, and egg drop soup. Overall it was okay, just lacking the flavor I was hoping for. The service, however, was great. The staff was friendly and made the experience pleasant.

I treated my friend and I to a lovely lunch at Olive Garden. We arrived around 11 AM. She adores the meat spaghetti and had enough for another meal because we ordered the dinner portions. Her soup looked delicious and our waitress was friendly as she twirled the handle on the Parmesan grater for both the soup and my salad.. I'm a huge fan of eggplant Parmesan, but the carbohydrates of pasta and I are not friends. The bright waitress suggested I substitute broccoli which arrived bright and fresh perfectly seasoned. What a blessing. It encourages my heart that Yuma has such a nice selection of restaurants that are prepared to meet the needs of not merely our residence, but travelers for whom these businesses are convenient to the freeway. Yuma's going to continue to grow and when there are clean, attractive nicely decorated Restaurants with comfortable seating, providing comfort, food, something new or old standby culinary menus we all benefit. Outside of that there appear to be four sandwich options and a Caesar salad. My friends recommended I try the traditional (turkey on sliced bread?), but I went with the Milan. Honestly, I was underwhelmed with my sandwich. It had panini grill marks like it was heated and pressed, but the sandwich was cold. I could have made this at home for less than $8 and I don't know if there was even cheese on it as stated in the menu. I ordered ice water, but it came with sweetened cucumber water which was waaaay too sweet for me. Waste. My friends who ordered smoothies were very happy with their purchase and felt they'd be a solid meal replacement. Because of this, I went with three stars overall.
