Unable to complete service for over a week and no explanation as to why I didn't receive a call back, only a half sincere apology. The first three quotes were from "high end" remodelers. A friend recommended Allen Geoffrey's Handyman Services to us (she had just had her bathroom remodeled). Geoff and his crew (Mark and Brian) came out to survey the jobs. They spent more time with me going over what work we wanted and what our major concerns were. They suggested a comprehensive "plan of attack" from top to bottom. We were consulted at every step of each of the projects to ensure that our expectations and design elements were incorporated. Their price quote came in thousands (yes, thousands) of dollars less than the three previous quotes. While they don't provide the design assistance of the "high end" contractors, they met us at a big box contractor store and helped us color-coordinate our design interests. They took care of ordering all the various pieces parts needed and got us a significant discount on materials. First, they replaced the deck to install flashing (that the previous home owner neglected to do), that led to the water damage in the guest bedroom. The deck was brought up to code and revealed serious problems with the previous deck installation. After the deck was done, the crew split off into two teams, one working on the master bathroom, the other, working on the guest bedroom. The crew took care of hauling off all old materials and cleaned up after each day. The work was first-rate. As with any major home project, unexpected/unforeseen problems arise. While removing the water-damaged sheetrock in the guest bedroom, major water damage was discovered to the exterior wall. Geoff gave me a very reasonable labor estimate to repair the wall. That wall is now the strongest in the house. They show up when expected, every day, until the job is done. They go beyond what is expected to ensure that the client is happy with the direction the project is headed. I highly recommend these master plumbers. I guess my highest endorsement is that, when our kitchen cabinets come in, Geoff and his crew will be doing our complete kitchen remodel (again, coming in thousands of dollars less than the high-end contractors). If you need any work done to your home, give them a call. They will not disappoint you. And, Geoff, Mark, & Brian, our new master bathroom looks and functions beyond our expectations. Thank you!

While he was doing that I mentioned we needed the house pressure washed. He stated he could do that and fix some caulk issues at the same time. We agreed on a price. I pointed out a specific issue with caulk while we were talking and asked that he fix any caulk issues he found. My expectation was that he would actually look at the caulk over the entire house. He did not. He did the work when I was not at home so when I returned I asked him about what I could easily see from the ground as unfinished work. I wanted him to come back and do it right. His response was to offer me a $50 discount, meaning I needed to go find someone else and pay them to do what he didn't. We went back and forth by text with him becoming more angry and dismissive. Attached are photos of the work he did (or didn't do). His task was to pressure wash the house and fix any caulk issues. You can see for yourself the quality of his work. All of the guttering has black lines clearly visible from the ground so someone on a 40 foot ladder at eye level would have known it was dirty. The soffit face is dirty. The siding is still dirty. Several windows still have black on the bottom. Integrity shows through when nobody is looking. My experience shows me that Mr. Jessup doesn't have or demonstrate any. His blaming a customer for unfinished work does show he takes no pride in doing a good job. Update: Entire message thread posted in photos. If you are going to do the job, do the job. If not, don't take the money. I never offered to hire someone else. Read the text. I said your telling me you would give me $50 off was the same as you telling me you were not interested in finishing the job and to go hire someone else. I clearly told you I was not looking for a discount, that I wanted the work done. Either you are going to do the job or you aren't. Stop blaming me because it isn't clean and caulked. My end of the deal was paying you $370 which I have absolutely done. Your end is the one one still not complete.
