Then he developed a severe limp and they put him on gabapentin, again we called and repeatedly brought him in for exams and consistently called about him having a problem with the drug not helping him. At this point I insisted on xrays and ultrasound be done, they had us do bloodwork and told us if we paid an extra $89 for an official pancreatitis test that would be definitive diagnosis that would give us the result that we needed. They could not perform an ultrasound so we had to take him to the emergency vet on Bridge Street in a Syracuse. Come to find out our dog did not have pancreatitis as the vet said the blood test revealed but had full pledge lymphoma, (his neck and jaw presented with hard nodules by the ex vet) and we had to put him down. The emergency vet said the blood test that Stacks office gave us for pancreatitis was not a definitive test for that. So which is it? So disgusted with the lack of concern given toward our dog. It wasn't until i insisted on testing because I was concerned of cancer that a closer look was finally given by the Stack Vet. Extremely upset that we had to put our dog down. Think twice about going there. They gouge you for pricing and never addressed his health until i threatened legal action.

They had to perform an ultrasound to see why he seemed to have labored breathing. (We brought this up with them since we got the cat and they said he wasn't in any pain so we need not worry about it). We waited all day to hear how he made out with ultrasound. They said they called us, but we have no record on our phone that they did. At the end of the day my husband finally received a text to call. He did and we found out that they didn't do anything for his abscesses teeth because come to find out he has a herniated diaphragm!!!We were not so happy in their lack of communication. They said they called multiple times, yet we have no record of that. They have both of our phone numbers. When we went to pick up our cat, we paid for the ultrasound. I asked what we should do now because he would most definitely be in pain again and not be able to eat. We didn't get an answer so we asked to see dr. He came out in a huff, and when my husband tried to share our side he wouldn't have it and then threatened my husband. My husband did raise his voice because Dr Gill just wouldn't listen!! We left with no answers. Now 4 months later and our other cat needs her prescription food from Chewy. Chewy reached out to Dr Gill and he said we have no record of that animal!!! I guess he cares more about his pride and money then he does for our 2 cats.I tried to get answers today regarding the prescription for Chewy and I've been placed on hold and then told I will have to look into it. I asked if I would find out today and she firmly said I will look into it. Still no answers. She will be out of her food by the end of the weekend. She has severe kidney stones and gets UTI's very quickly if she eats regular food. Sad this had to happen because of a Dr and his inflated ego. Sadly I don't recommend this veterinarian at all. We will find a new veterinarian.

I was told that this one had an ear infection too so he was treated and both had their ears cleaned. When we got home, the symptom-free cat could not keep his balance and was falling constantly and would not eat or drink. Besides being billed an exorbitant amount for an ear infection, when I brought him back to see if they could fix him, I got charged another exorbitant amount. What they did didn't make any difference at all. I was forced to take him to the emergency clinic as it was the weekend and he wasn't eating or drinking and falling constantly. I was told that his eardrum had been punctured. He was treated correctly and is now getting better and starting to eat and drink. I have changed vets! After all is said and done, an ear infection has cost me $1500.00 and a LOT of anxiety!

I have a 115lb Rottweiler and after two bad experiences with different vets the third time was a…read morecharm with this vet. Unlike other vets they do not judge him because he's a rottie. They are extremely patient with him. They spend as long as they need sitting on the floor with him petting him and giving him treats to help him become comfortable. By the time they give him shots, he doesn't even notice. He sees Dr Meg and we absolutely love her. She answers all our questions and concerns. Even though we moved an hour and a half away we still make the drive to take him there.
