Worst experience of my life! The belt on my boat snapped, causing the engine to over heat. Anchored…read morethe boat to try and fix the issue, the water started getting rough and snapped the anchor line. Started drifting into the rocks. Luckily it was somewhat shallow where I could stand. Stood in the water holding the boat so it wouldn't crash on the rocks. A marina about 75 yards away said I could tie up there if I can get it there. Pulled the boat through the water and tied to to the dock. Called sea tow...they said they don't do dock to dock tows. I explained to them everything that happened and they still refused, the kept saying but the boat is safe now. After about half hour pleading for them to come tow the boat, they sent someone out. When they got there, they said the water was too rough to tow it back and left. I asked the marina if it was ok to leave the boat there overnight. Went back the next day replaced the belt, engine started right up. Started to head back to the marina my boat is kept at. Halfway there the engine overheated and died again. Called sea tow again... They said they would not come out to tow me because it was just towed yesterday. I explained that it was NOT towed due to the captain saying he couldn't. Places me on hold while he calls the captain. Then tells me it sounds like the same problem, that I would need to show proof that it was fixed. I told them I have the broken belt and I can show them the new belt along with the receipt showing when I purchased it. They still refused to come out. They left me STRANDED out in the water for 8 hours!!!! I destroyed my engine continually overheating it so I can get the boat back... I can not believe that they would do that to someone! I am disgusted by their service and will be contacting the BBB about this. I will also be switching to US tow.

Just recently purchased a fine small boat via Mike Potter, he is a broker with Southpaw Yacht…read moreSales. I have to say that I'm pretty critical of boat brokers, I've been boating my whole life, have a good handle on what I'm looking at, what my needs are and all of that. With that said, I have little patience with brokers that do not know what they are talking about; many don't of course. However, meeting Mike I have to say that he was great to deal with. Mike was fair, honest, motivated and responsive. If I reached out he was quick to respond. Mike was a straight shooter and didn't BS me. I'm old and have been around for a long time and can typically pick up on the BS fairly quick. Mike was easy to deal with and his office staff (Nicolette) was just as great to deal with as well. I have no complaints with these guys, they were a big help and I appreciate it. Here is one example of Mike's dedication, on a Sunday, not too long ago, Mike flew in from vacation, got in his car and drove straight from the airport to meet up with me so that I could see the boat for the first time that I eventually bought. That told me right there that he was dedicated to his work. Nice to see that still exists. Thanks again Mike and Nicolette! Kerry H

My husband Mark and I started the journey of boat shopping back in August. After another broker…read morewasting so much of our time with "issues", (in hindsight it was a good thing because it wasn't supposed to be our boat) We contacted Tim on FB Messenger. He immediately responded and we made verbal contact. Went and saw the boat and in less then 2 weeks did the Sea Trial, paperwork, picked up OUR Crown Line yesterday, and now it's home in our driveway. Tim was ABSOLUTELY the BEST Boat Broker to work with EVER! Everyone at the Marina, and I mean EVERYONE we spoke to all say "He's such a nice/good guy" and he really is. He went far above and beyond to make this workout for us in a timely manner. Then helped us modify our new trailer to get her home! Mark and I are so thankful, grateful and appreciative of all Tim did for us. We are so looking forward to Spring of 2022 for us to begin the next chapter of our lives together as Boaters. My husband has always been my Captain and I his First Mate. THANKS TIM!!
