They serviced our boat for 3+ years and the work was performed skillfully, on time and with great communication. My service experience with our 27' Grady-White was positive whether it was performed in the shop or on our mooring. While now out of the western Long Island Sound area, I wouldn't hesitate to use them again for sales or service if I were to return to the area and have recommended Team Catalano to my friends without reservation.

My hope is that I live another 20 years so I can buy a new Grady from the next generation of Catalanos.

I have had nothing but great experiences with Palmer Point. Everyone there is friendly and helpful. The service yard is filled with experienced workers and they can handle any need a boater may have. The gas dock is cheap and they honor a $0.10 per gallon discount for BoatUS members. They also have an abundance of different sized boat slips with full amenities (power, water, etc.). I also love that it's family owned! I have nothing bad to say about Palmer Point and would highly recommend them to any of my fellow boaters.

Pumped gas here before- but didn't think once about getting my oil changed. With no appointment, went on a whim and wished to be seen before doors closed at 5pm. Pulled up and told to inquire in the "office". Asked Christine- who mans the office and suggested I return the following day, but that didn't cut it for me- and I was in- after some hesitation. As I'm getting a price quote, a man (whoever he is) had the audacity of smoking right in the office. Told Christine I'd wait outside and not be bothered by all his cigarette smoke and went back in a bit after. The "office" is dreary and seriously cluttered. Cushions on chairs are torn and decided it was best to stand. But I kinda looked past that, and chitchatted with Christine while my car was getting serviced. We took care of logistics and finalized my payment. Affordable? I'm not sure- as I can't compare it to anything else except Valvoline's super cheap $19.95 sale. And while there are a million and one Valvoline's, their new model wasn't working for me. The approach here was friendly, professional and there was no lollygagging. When I went into the 2x2 office to…read morepurchase one tire I was told everyone was at lunch and it would be a 20 minute wait. 2 hours later I was given the most pathetic attitude because goofy glasses guy couldn't upsell me to purchase 4 brand new tires. Then came out yelling that I wasted their time because they couldn't get the locks off of my tires. I had no locks. I was then told that I had to back out my car from their bay myself so I pointed at the sign that says "Due To Insurance No Customers Allowed Beyond This Point". Now it gets really petty. He backs up my truck exactly to that sign, opens up my door and walks away. I look into the window and everything in my glove box including important documents were thrown all over my truck. As I put them all back he came back out to ask me if there was a problem. There was a problem. I had to restrain myself from smacking his goofy glasses off in front of his father , showing him that he raised a punk. Advice goofy glasses guy, when you read this and you know who I am, Black Mazda Cx-9, don't look stupid trying to justify every action I detailed here. Instead, accept your lack of professionalism and be a better small business owner. After all, you are not the only place that sells tires.
