I was in such a stressful spot... I found a rental home that I really liked and wanted to check out. Friends recommended that I reach out to Jason Heffron who had helped them navigate a couple of sales and purchases in the neighborhood. I didn't know if he would be amenable to futzing around with a small potatoes transaction but he showed up within 10 minutes with a smile on his face and a ton of ATX knowledge. Well, as these things happen, that rental was not the one and he helped me evaluate property after property until I came across a place that would be perfect for me...except it was for sale not for rent. The best laid plans of mice and men, am I right? The house had everything - a great lot, a great pool, a great aesthetic, a great layout and it had not yet hit the market. I wanted it bad. So, I decided to buy. As luck would have it, Jason's great reputation within the community and prior professional contacts and warranted reputation as a reliable straight shooter allowed me to get it under contract the *day* before it hit the market with no icky wrangling. There is no way this transaction would have happened off-market without his stellar rep for getting things done and getting things done right. I was soooo grateful. He has a great staff and team to make it all happen, too. He was a pleasure to work with, got me my ideal Austin digs, and it all started with him being rad and going the extra mile with me when some others might have found my call annoying or not worth their time.

He's friendly, attentive, responsive, reasonable and doesn't hesitate to share his feedback, good & bad, or just for things I hadn't thought of. I was looking for someone with an experienced perspective, not just a yes-person, and that was my experience with him. On the selling side, some of my family had agents in the past who went unreasonably overboard with staging or bending over backwards for prospect buyers, and that was not my experience here, which I'm very grateful for. We dealt with a Prospect buyer/agent combo who were at times unreasonable, waited until the last minute to ask for things & where the agent didn't do a good job at managing their clients' expectations, and Jason handled a lot of those tougher interactions before I even had to, and was instrumental to getting us through close. On the buying side, he was a great guide & we closed without issues, in the neighborhood I was shooting for & within my budget.

Both Gina and Mike were very patient and took the time to walk the entire property with us giving us ideas on how to make the house presentable inside and out. The one thing we really liked that Mike said was to make this as enjoyable as we can and not to stress it. That was a huge relief, and it actually worked out quite well. We took down all the points and executed to plan. Once everything was ready on our end, Mike visited again to do a final check and as well as have a profession photography session. Once the photos came back and proofed, that night the house went on the market. Mike and team already had their marketing machinery ready to go into action right away. It is amazing that within the first 3 days we had 3 offers. Thanks to Mike and team the entire process went through very smooth. He walked us through all the remaining procedures, as well as came to closing with us which was honestly very comforting. This is a big deal for somebody who is doing this for the first time.
