Three years ago, my regular cleaners told me that they could no longer work with me (moving out of town). I interviewed a few companies, but Angie really impressed me because I could tell she was organized and committed to providing a top notch service. At the same time, however, I had a friend who cleaned homes and was in need of a job, so I alternated between her and Angie's crew. Angie always could help me out in a pinch and her cleaners are super fast but very thorough (the benefit of having a team of cleaners rather than one person of course). I used her services sporadically throughout the past three years and she always came through for me, even tried her best when she was completely booked. This is crucial when you are relying on income from a STR and need last minute reservations when they come through. When my friend gave her notice this past spring, I actually felt like it was going to be ok, because I had a company that had proven themselves to be dependable and loyal to their customers. Also, since I happen to speak French, I could understand some of what the 2 cleaners were saying. I can't speak Spanish, but the two languages are similar in ways. I did not appreciate get bad mouthed by them. At times, they were very rude. They did not know this, but due to a chronic illness, I can't manage to keep my apartment clean on my own. Their rudeness truly rubbed me the wrong way. I did not call to follow up with bi- monthly cleanings, and they did not contact me.

Ray omitted from their quote the items I listed in the scope of work (carpet cleaning, windows, tile) 2.) When I pointed out the services were to be included and requested a price for carpet cleaning (twice) no price was priced - the question was ignored. 3.) I asked Ray what was included in the cleaning so I could understand her price, exactly what was going to be cleaned and how would it be cleaned? No explanation was provided. These are basic questions necessary to do business with anyone. As an example, at the end of our conversation, after previously trying to get answers to basic questions, I wrote "Raven, I've been managing contracts and contractors for over 35 years. I'm trying to understand your pricing in order to make a fair comparison to other quotes I have received, so I've asked you questions, which I still don't understand the answers to. You have excluded carpet, window and tile/grout cleaning even though it was part of the scope. I've asked you what the carpet cleaning price is, but you have not provided one. Is that because it is not a service you can perform, or did you just miss that detail? The windows and grout I can do myself and get the others to deduct that from their quotes. I've asked you what is being cleaned and how is it being cleaned, but you have not provided that information. I've asked what is included in the cleaning and listed some things with the expectation you would take it from there and explain what would be cleaned and how it would be cleaned, but you have not answered those questions.
