    French Fries
    Emm A.

Mixed feelings. I didn't like my fries at all, they were nothing like the pictures. The fries were very soggy, thin, and needed to be in the fryer longer. On the other hand, my chicken gyro was soooo good. I got it exactly how it came, no add ons and didn't remove anything. It was so flavorful and delicious -- also a big portion! I would come here again, but I would skip the fries and maybe look at some other sides. I didn't even need the fries with how big the gyro was, but we were unsure about the portions.

I door dashed the Mediterranean bowl from here as I was craving a veggie meal and the veggies were so fresh! The sautéed mushrooms and garbanzo beans were my favorite. I ordered the tahini and hummus for the bowl on the side. They were quick to make my order after they placed it too. I would definitely recommend this dish to any veggie lovers out there!

Went here with colleagues from work for lunch. From our group of 4 only one has been here. I love greek and halal food so I have been wanting to try this place because my son had recommended it too. I ordered to chicken shwarma wrap with greek fries and drink. The service was great. We order in and sat down at the high table. The food was brough to us. My food was great!. The food was plentiful as i had to take my left overs home. The chicken shwarma had lots of meat, there were pickles in it as well as french fries and other great flavors. I will definitely be coming back here to try other dishes. I will be recommending this franchise to other friends and fmily

Beef/Lamb Gyro Pita - yes those are French fries in there!!!!!!

I'm obsessing over this place - lamb/beef gyro delish flavor combination - generous meat fresh pita bread stellar tzatziki!

I used to come here when this was a Rubio's so I decided to stop and try out this new establishment yesterday. I ordered a gyro plate and an order of Nick's fries. I was hungry. The interior looks the same, just rebranded but someone was wiping everything down so it seemed clean. The meat was fine and the salad was ok but there was only taziki with the pita and no hummus so it was quite plain. The fries by themselves were bad. They were white and limp and cold, but the toppings on the Nick's fries were good. I had to add the fries from my gyro plate into my Nick's fries and mix it all together to be able to eat them. It was pricey so I would probably not come back unless I had some crazy craving for Greek food.

I ordered the beef/lamb gyro from Nick the Greek and it definitely hit the spot. The meat was juicy and flavorful, wrapped in soft, warm pita, and loaded with fries inside (which I always love). The tzatziki sauce is a must -- I always get extra on the side for dipping, and it takes everything to the next level. Also, their DoorDash deals are clutch. Buy one, get one free makes it an easy go-to when you're craving something satisfying without breaking the bank. Consistent, tasty, and always a solid choice!

Mediterranean bowls with falafel and beef/lamb and a side of falafel.

Although we ordered through Uber Eats our food was still warm and delicious! Everything was fresh and flavorful. My husband and I both got Mediterranean bowls one with beef/lamb and the other with falafel. We also ordered a side of falafel too. It was all lovely and we will be ordering from here again!

I was super excited for Nick the Greek to open. They have several menu options...gyros, kebabs and bowls. My son and I each had the steak pita with fries. The food was good but not what I was hoping for. The pitas are grilled to the point of them becoming a bit tough. I prefer them to be soft and fluffy. Because they are on the harder side, my sandwich quickly fell apart. The fries are also just ok. Our favorite part of the meal was dessert-we had the plain loukoumades and they were delicious! Service was quick and friendly so I plan on returning to give it another chance and maybe try one of their bowls. While it wasn't the best Greek food I've had it is a solid option.

Like other reviews have stated, we arrived right when they opened and the meat did seem to have been cooked the prior day. It was lukewarm and rubbery. I would definitely come back during the lunch rush if I were to visit again in the hopes of getting something fresh. I tried multiple items here including the gyro plate and Nick's fries. The plain fries that came as a side on the plate were terrible. They were soggy, and undercooked at the same time. Both bland and limp. That being said, the Nick Fries with pork were much better, so get your fries smothered if you decide to get them here and go with the rice if you are getting a plain side to your meal. The salad was fine and the pita was nice but it only came with yogurt which helped the dryness a bit and tasted ok but for the price the plate should come with hummus. I'm not sure that I will return based on my experience, but if I do, I will sample some of their desserts and hopefully it will sweeten the experience.

Admittedly, I was being lazy and what I really wanted was a gyro from the Greek Festival. Since I wasn't in the mood for a crowd, I tried to satisfy my longing with a gyro from Nick the Greek. The setting was new, bright and staff was friendly. They serve the basic gyro with fries on top of the filling. The filling was plain but the bread seemed like it was toasted or maybe it was just crackly on the outside. I don't like crackly bread for my gyro. When I say the filling was plain, it's because I'm used to a lil more added than mainly meat. The meat was VERY good. It was full of flavor. Next time, I think I'll get a salad The salads look like they are prepared with love. I also ordered garlic fries. The fries were the shape and style of In and Out fries. They were thin and limp. The garlic ratio on the fries was good. Overall, I felt this place is okay. For sure there is room for growth... I wish I could give half stars. I'd give a 3.5.

I've been here multiple times. The food is consistent and tasty. The restaurant is well kept and clean. The food portions for their bowls are enough for two meals if you're not super hungry. This is a great fast-casual lunch or dinner spot.

Came here for the Grand Opening on August 26 and received a free entree from 11:00AM - 2:30PM! They passed out samples of their frozen yogurt while people were in line waiting and it was creamy, on the more tart side but still sweet and so enjoyable. I'm definitely coming back solely for their frozen yogurt! I was holding the menu and pointed to the Chicken Souvlaki Plate, but the cashier seemed really stressed out and ended up ringing me up for the Chicken Souvlaki Pita instead. I was able to get a side of Nick's Fries and also a drink for free! My mom got the Beef/Lamb Gyro Pita along with a side of Nick's Fries and also a drink as well. We wanted to try their rice by sharing the Plate but we'll just have to come back. Pass on the chicken souvlaki, the flavor was great but I felt like the amount of chicken that was inside was a bit skimpy for the pita. The pita itself was soft and the mustard sauce was so delicious, it ever so slightly sweet! The tomatoes were cut way too small though. Overall this pita was mainly just bread rather than toppings The beef/lamb gyro on the other hand was so good, I really didn't expect to like this one over the chicken souvlaki. Their tzatziki sauce is creamy and brightens up the pita and you get so much more meat even though it's sliced thin, it still feels heartier than the chicken souvlaki. Not to mention the meat is tender and flavorful! We also got a side of Nick's Fries which were fresh cut fries topped with garlic, feta cheese, scallions, dill, a spicy yogurt sauce and gyro meat. It was tasty but the fries are reminiscent of In-n-out fries where they get soggy super easily and are really limp, so I'd pass on this next time since the pita is enough to fill you up. This is a chain restaurant but still a good addition to Stockton.

I've eaten from this location multiple times. I've ordered it through DoorDash and dined in a couple of times. I enjoy the consistency of the flavor and quality for their food. The service has always been great, clean restaurant and food always comes out fairly quickly. Great lunch spot!

Side of falafel: 10/10. Crispy, fluffy, light, herbaceous, and perfect. They were still good later that night warmed up in the air fryer. Turkish delight: 9.5/10 and appropriately named. A little chewy inside, crispy outside, not too sweet and nicely balanced. This place is small and casual. The bathrooms were out of order that day. You can fit so many things in that bowl for $15. Enough food for two meals, and the ingredients are high quality. Win win. I like to do a salad base with my bowl (though one could choose rice or hummus base) with either the Mediterranean salad or the kale slaw, falafel, pesto hummus (all their hummus is fantastic), and whichever additional salad I didn't pick for the base. The Greek salad is also good just not as good as the other two in my opinion. Falafels are small but made to order and absolutely delicious. I do wish I could get moar in the bowl but I get it. I'm always willing to pay for quality food. Pita on the side is a must (comes with the bowl) and if you're feeling extra snacky they have tasty pita chips as well (additional cost, not included with bowl). Sauce is boss here as well.
