We had Steve and one of his colleagues (Flute player that played with Stevie Wonder) do a guitar and flute duo for our ceremony! It sounded amazing!! It was classy without being stuffy and old! They even learned Edelweiss for our ceremony and did more contemporary songs. Steve and Ann then moved everything from our ceremony to Tarpy's at no additional cost. How many times can you say that when you are planning at wedding? Steve then played solo guitar during cocktails and moved to DJing for the rest of the night. They definitely kept the party going all night long! In addition to all of this they also supplied all the sound systems from our ceremony to our reception. We had our wedding out doors and if we had not had mini microphones to catch our voices, no one would have heard us. No matter if you having an indoor or outdoor wedding make sure to use microphones! That was their suggestion and our experience!! We loved Steve Ezzo Entertainment and highly recommend them for any occasion!! Wonderful prices for those on a budget!!

After meeting both steve and ann at the highlands inn to meet a potential live singer for our…read morewedding, we decided to book Neil, our singer and a keyboardist for our special day at the intercontinental in monterey. Many things were promised to us and we felt accomodated before the booking but after they got out our deposit and especailly the final payment we were no longer really important. Our prerequisite of booking them was for the singer to sing "back at one" at our wedding, my husband and I's favorite song. They promised they would sing it no problem etc. About a month before the event i sent a list of songs that i got off their website to see if they could play that at my wedding. Songs I chose were many songs I heard during i saw them play live with a two piece band. Steve got on the phone and was extremeley passive aggressive and told me all the reasons why they couldnt do that and why shouldnt i just hire a dj and so on and so forth. I was like REALLY!??? so close to my wedding i just tried to minimize my problems and move on. Me being a person who is musically challeneged, was not aware that a 2 or 3 piece band wouldnt be able to produce those dance songs etc, but those same songs were played during our visit when we saw them play live so i had no clue why certain songs couldnt be played? hmm. I felt they have extremely poor client management skills and really just didnt manage my expectations nor advise me on what songs could be done with the 2 piece etc and made me feel belittled. Hello- I am the client here and the bride!! Who made you king of the jungle? My DJ- who was hired seperate of them- was treated even poorly over the phone by steve himself. I had tried to see if the two musiciaans would be able to share the same speakers during the event to avoid having to tear their stuff down during the middle of the evening when the singer was done (and the DJ began). Steve spoke to my DJ in such a unprofessional manner, i was appauled, and my DJ called me right after telling me that he made him feel like he was unimportant and that he was some ghetto dj from the bay and that he was just " in the way". COmpletely unacceptable. I had a feeling this was the case when he told me he didnt want to dj at my wedding anyore after speaking to steve as that is how i felt in speaking to him personally. Good thing i convinced the dj that was not my intention to make him feel that way and that i do not know why nor did i give steve the authority to do something like so. I didnt bring this up to steve as i was over his passive aggressivenesss and let it go. Regardless of the anguish over song choice before the event, the day of was ok. Everyone raved about the band but my big complaint the day of was that the band took a 10 minute break in the middle of dinner unannounced, leaving there to be bleak silence - only for my wedding planner to find them where?- outside, taking a smoking break and chomping down on the reminents of my seafood display from cocktail hour. as if this wasnt bad enough, our SPECIAL song that he had PROMISED to sing for us. he sang off CUE CARDS! not just cue cards, but off a 8.1/2 x 11 sheet of paper 2 inches from his face. utterly disappointing and what professional would do that, after all that they promised our song would be perfect. they also ended 10 minutes earlier than contracted time, leaving our timeline wack and our DJ having to cover for them. They sang a total of 1.5 hours at my wedding, and had to take a break after 40 in of performance? the timeline that i obviously sent to them they really didnt review with any heart nor paid any attention. there were points were they were supposed to stop and announce the DJ was taking over- they did not, they just started breaking down and up and left. The musicians also solciited my wedding planner to join them in their "after party". Completely disgusting and again not professional at all. Not sure about the other reviews on this site as they are all 5 stars, friends maybe? Between the booking managers- steve and ann and the treatment i endured from them before the event and teh day of mishaps I really wouldnt recommend them at all!!!

I knew exactly that I wanted to walk down the aisle to a violin playing in the background. There's something about live music, especially strings that add so much elegance and romance to the setting. For the most part, I worked only with Daphna from beginning to end. Bruce showed up ready to go at the wedding. Daphna was very professional and so pleasant to work with from the get go. Our process consisted of an initial meeting, which was a phone call in our case, and a final phone call closer to the wedding day to finalize music selections. We were not only limited to these 2 meetings, she was also available in between those times if we had any questions and she was always very responsive. Her vast knowledge in music was helpful when we couldn't decide for our recessional song. Additionally, she was more than willing to listen to our ideas and learn new music if needed. Her years of experience showed in the way she handled our questions (lots of it) and the outcome of our ceremony. I still get chills when I reflect back standing in my bridal room waiting to come out and I hear Daphna and Bruce start to play Pachebel's Canon in D. I couldn't be happier and I'm so happy I found them!

They also learned to play a song I had requested specially for while I walked down the aisle with my dad. They played for our ceremony and cocktail hour and were a hit! Our guests loved them, and they got super excited when they played the Game of Thrones theme song. Daphna and Bruce, thank you so much for making our day special!

I hire people for a living and hiring Lavender Fields was a no brainer. On wedding day, they were prompt, had amazing communication, and was so fun and our dance floor was a VIBE. I can't say enough good things about them. If you have the opportunity to hire them, you better. Don't even think twice!!

TL/DR: 10/5 STARS! Would recommend to anyone & everyone!…read more We first met LFB when they were performing at Eureka in Cupertino. Our close friend recently stumbled upon them & had nothing but good things to say. So we stopped by & had lunch and enjoyed the sounds of LFB. They did not disappoint. My husband is really into music & for him to give his stamp of approval, that speaks volumes. We also went to a few of their shows in Downtown Campbell and then the lockdown happened. We still got our LFB-fix through their Thursday livestreams - it was a nice Friday-Eve wind down. Fast Forward a couple years - When we lived in San Jose, we would make our way to MoHi to watch them perform every Thursday. It was always a fun time - some dinner, drinks & a little LFB to get you through the week. Just what the doctor ordered ;) When my now-husband and I were wedding planning, our venue only allowed a choice of 4 in-house DJs so we could only opt to have LFB play during Cocktail hour (otherwise we would've hired them for all music). When reaching out to Steve, he immediately remembered us & without skipping a beat - he was like "we will make this happen!" He has always treated us like family and is such a genuine, caring person. Obvi, we booked them & they gave us their set list to choose from. We picked out a couple of songs we for sure wanted to hear but pretty much left it up to them. Trust the professionals :) As we got closer to our wedding day, we hoped on phone call & he made sure that we didn't need any mics for the ceremony and just wanted the game plan. I appreciated this because with weddings, things tend to fall through the cracks or things are assumed taken care of when in in actuality they are not. He left nothing to be assumed. Love that! During our wedding day, my husband & I were very adamant that we were going to be present during our Cocktail hour so we can enjoy LFB play & I am so glad we did this. It was like having our own personal concert, we grabbed a drink & stood up front while they performed. Our videographer also loved them --- he actually loved them so much that he asked permission to use the audio to one of the songs they performed for our wedding video. Spoiler alert! Our wedding video with the LFB audio ---- *chef's kiss! Steve & Cory were a hit! Our guests had nothing but good things to say & of course, we weren't surprised :) They're actually performing at our venue for Lavender Nites (yes, we got married at a Lavender Farm) so we look forward to seeing them again! I cannot recommend them enough! Book them - it'll be your loss if you don't. Just sayin'
