I walked up to the large colorful truck and was greeted by the owner. The owner of was friendly, knowledgeable and even made a recommendation. He had suggested I order the "Birria Tacos" -- which come in an order of 3. The wait time was not bad, (roughly 10 minutes), and the vibe was very relaxed. There were even tables and seating for outdoor dining. The aroma was a wonderful mix of cilantro, onions and slow-cooked beef. I got a small container of green tomatillo salsa to go with it. I loved the taste of the taco I had, and thought the suggestion was great. I do wish the Birria Taco had a little more meat in it. Other than that, the Birria Taco was really tasty. I would highly recommend trying The El Rey Food Truck. If you happen to see it around, please stop by and give them a try.

We arrived right as the game was starting and they were out of the pulled pork sandwiches, so we chose the pulled chicken instead! I think this was the best shredded chicken sandwich I have ever had!
