Let me start off by saying that the inside is SO CUTE! I love me a pink store. The service was amazing as well. I went it for a Too Good To Go order, but I had to pick something else up too! When I saw a cheesecake truck I did not expect it to be this good. The employees in the truck seemed a little distracted inside but one apologized and was very nice. I heard about this delightful dessert place on Instagram and was so happy to check it out next time I was in Ohio. I stopped for coffee first. On one corner is the coffee shop, the corner across the street has more dessert. The staff was sweet and explained the seasonal flavors. I ended up getting a hot snickerdoodle latte. Immediate deliciousness on the slightly higher boujee coffee side but worth it, adorned with an adorable thick red heart sticker to keep the drink hole covered (and beverage hot) when not sipping. Next I headed down to get additional desserts. The little Debbie Christmas tree cake cheesecakes got me in, I was pleasantly surprised to see they also came in cake pop form! I got a variety of cheesecakes, a few pops, and a few macarons. Prices were very reasonable. Upon getting home, I loved the little Debbie pops. In fact, my brother said it was one of the best things he has ever eaten and he teared up during the last bite, haha. My mom said the macaron, which are also a bit larger than a traditional macaron (zero complaints about that!) was one of the best she's ever had, and these are her favorite dessert. I agree with both sentiments! The cheesecake, what they are obviously known for, was not anyone's favorite. The paper stuck to the cheesecake was slightly disintegrated into the dessert, so we lost about 1/3 of each, bummer. The flavor of each was okay. The Oreo cake pops, and we love all things Oreo, wasn't fantastic. The middle tasted of pure cream cheese, with an odd texture I was not impressed with. Overall these shops are great, as is the flavor of most desserts (well priced!) and boujee coffees. The staff has been kind during my visits, too. I look forward to returning once more and giving the cheesecakes another try, as well as ordering a coffee flight from one of the rotating menus. A fun little bakery that I'm glad I got to check out over in Madisonville! To start off, in general, I am typically not the biggest fan of cheesecake. I usually like the crust of the cake more than the actual cheesecake itself. HOWEVER, The Cheesecakery's bite-sized cheesecake cupcakes were perfect for me for this reason; they weren't too big and overwhelmingly rich, but still sweet and really good! It is a little confusing as there are two stores (a cafe and a bakery), but I ended up finding the bakery one just fine. I believe there is only street parking, as that is where I parked myself. Upon entry, the space is small, but very cute. There is a lot of color on the inside, including plenty of information about catering if you are interested. They offer a variety of different cheesecake cupcakes to pick from, including seasonal flavors, as well as cookies, macaroons, and more. Everything is clearly on display, and you can ask questions if you're interested in what any of the flavors specifically taste like. I decided to try the oreo, the reese's, and the buckeye cheesecake. As I mentioned, I do like cheesecake crust, and the oreo crust was amazing. I would've eaten just that if I could've, it was that good. The oreo cheesecake was definitely my favorite overall, but all were excellent. The two people working at the bakery were incredibly kind when I went in. They informed me that The Cheesecakery is actually celebrating its fourth year in business as of this week! They were both very attentive, and I'm glad I got the chance to speak with them. I would recommend checking this place out if you're a fan of cheesecake, or have a sweet tooth in general. read more

I went here to grab a gift card for a friend and was underwhelmed by how small it is and the limited options; it wasn't until I checked out that they told me there were actually 3 separate "stores" and i was actually in the coffee shop. It's next to a cafe where you can eat your coffee and cheesecake (although the space Is not large) and the actual bakery, which has far more options, is down the street a bit farther. I walked down just to check it out but at that point had already made a purchase so I didn't get anything else. The setup is a bit confusing and chaotic.... It would be much better if they had 1 large location instead of 3 tiny locations in a row. That being said, I got a vegan cheesecake because I can't eat dairy. It was fine, but i didn't love it. The classic was a curdled, sour old cheesecake that was hard on top as it had obviously been there for a long time. One of the seasonal cheesecakes had a hair on it. We've visited the coffee shop several times, but today I stopped in their actual bakery, which is just right next door. Here they have even more flavors than in their coffee shop, along with beautiful looking macarons. You can also order cakes here. First of all, the shop is absolutely adorable. More flavors of cheesecake than you. An imagine, along with other pastries. As usual, the cheesecake was good. I just wish we were acknowledged when we first walked in the door. There were two employees behind the counter, and it took a little while before they even looked up to welcome us in and take our order, even though we were the only ones in there. Cheesecake is one of my favorite desserts. I love a crunch in my crust and a nice dense, smooth and creamy cheesecake texture. When I first tried their cheesecakes, it was at a festival (I believe Taste of Cincinnati) and I thought their Oreo cheesecake was fantastic. It had an Oreo crumb crust, Oreos inside the batter and topped with delicious fresh whipped cream and Oreo crumbs. It was the best Oreo cheesecake I ever tried. Since then, I've tried their strawberry glazed, plain , chocolate peanut butter marble and s'mores cheesecake. I honestly was not impressed with these. The plain cheesecake base is a bit too tangy and soft for my taste. For all the flavored cheesecakes aside from the Oreo I tried, they use the same plain cheesecake base and only add toppings. The toppings they use taste store bought (e.g. strawberry glaze) and I felt they did not add enough of them. When I think of a flavored cheesecake, I want to taste the flavor throughout the cheesecake not only via toppings. I wish they would downsize their flavor options and focus on making each cheesecake outstanding by taking the time to add additional ingredients in the cheesecake batter. Overall, the cheesecakes are just okay. If you like a creamier, lighter and tangier plain cheesecake this is the place for you. I'd only go back to order another Oreo cheesecake or try their other pastries, which look delicious. read more

The Cheesecakery kept popping up for where to go when in Cincinnati, and I couldn't resist going somewhere with latte and cheesecake flights, so we made sure to prioritize going here on our way to CVG. I'm not really sure if this place is under construction or what's going on, but it was kind of weird. Especially with flights I expected somewhere inside with actual glasses and a place to sit down to try everything. They took around 10 minutes to do the coffee flight and then they had no seating inside. They had an area outside to sit but it was a little cold/drizzly so we didn't want to sit there. So overall I felt a little weird that I basically got 4 coffees to go for myself (as the "flight"), but oh well. Other people were standing inside just eating over the counters because there was no where to sit. Other than that, the coffee and cheesecake was delicious. It was ok for the 48 bucks I spent. The chocolate chip scone was good, but the cheese cupcakes were unbelievably not worth it. The cookies and cream one had a weird texture, and not cheesecakey. Tiramisu had mixed reviews. I didn't like it, but my granddaughter did. My boyfriend thought it was lackluster too. It lacked the richness that tiramisu should have; it was like store-bought. The canolli also lacked the richness I'd expect, but then I've had canollis from Boston and these were not that quality. I did like the brownie/cheesecake combo. That was tasty. I absolutely love The Cheesecakery. My boyfriend and I have been coming here for about two years now. I have never once had a cheesecake that I didn't like. When we first started going it wasn't super busy, but as the popularity grew so did the lines. We celebrate all holidays big and small with cheesecakes. We have tried an assortment of different items and have only had one item we didn't like. I won't mention what it was because it's not that it was bad, it just wasn't for me. The assortment and seasonal flavors are so fun! I'd have to say my favorite are the fall and winter flavors, as I love maple and pumpkin. Not only do the cheesecakes taste amazing, we are also addicted to the chubby cookies and the cookie dough in a jar. The cheesecakes are designed as cupcake/muffins with about three bites to them. A few bites for a few bucks. Stopped in to grab a turtle cheesecake for a sugar boost. I bit into the icing thinking it would be a thick buttercream but thankfully I was so, so wrong!! The whipped cream on top is so light and airy, I didn't even feel bad about eating it. Absolutely delicious. The cheesecake itself was sooooo moist! Insanely pillowy, sweet but not overly sweet. A very well rounded dessert (or in my case, snack). At minimum, come here for the smells and a seat to get some laptop work done.
