Nick's Tree Service was excellent to work with. Nick gave me a decent quote. We had to wait for the road restrictions to come off as it was early spring but they were timely otherwise in cutting down the 3 trees for me. As planned, a couple of weeks later they grinded down all 3 stumps and the day after they were back to haul away most of the grinding material. They left enough so I didn't have huge holes. It should settle down even further and I shouldn't need as much dirt brought in as I thought I would. The entire crew were experienced and cleaned up pretty well after each visit considering the mess trees make. I would use them again or suggest anyone else to use them. Due to negligent practices, the cut tree branches fell on the neighborhood power lines, throwing sparks everywhere and taking power out for the entire surrounding neighborhood. Just had Nick come and clean up one of the biggest cottonwoods trees he's ever seen. First off, his bid was one of the best around. We had a little back and forth on scheduling but when it was time, he showed up promptly with his crew along with the crane company. Once the crane was setup, they started going to town. In 6 hours the tree was down and everything cleaned up. Would 100% recommend Nick for another job down the road. Our receipt states that debris would be hauled away after stump removal. They came when we weren't home, ground the stump and left. Nick is very rude....no customer service and refused to discuss. The rudest people I've ever had to deal with. It was their pleasure to pound on our house so loud they woke us up to do a city service contacted job. Our neighbors were even so disturbed they brought their dog in the house as they thought something was going to happen to their dog. They pounded on our house so hard that it scared our dog and he peed in the house. They refuse to call ahead to schedule saying they are too busy to call anyone. The contacted price includes grinding of the stump, but with no advanced call or info they will not grind the stump without me removing my fence, which I can't do as I have to work. They would only argue with me as I came out to ask why they would not call ahead to schedule the removal of the tree. I contacted the city and even the city contact states they are to call ahead. Based on my experience I have suggested the city find another service provider as no one in our city should be treated as rude as I was by someone doing a service for our city at a cost to us. Find someone that greets you with a welcoming handshake and a smile. Not someone that thinks they are better than you and being put out for doing a good job. read more

The owner listens to what you want done than his guys come out and whatever they want they butchered our trees. In 5 mo he has called twice for payment but never showed up for the cash. 3 mo after his last call he is yelling at me that I didn't pay him. read more

The actual service itself was good, but not the customer service of the owner. If I am paying money as a customer, I think I should have advance notice and choice on when the service will be done.
