Subject: Feedback on Recent Tree Service Project
Hi,
I wanted to share my recommendations following the completion of your recent service at my property:
Scheduling Efficiency:
The project involved removing 4 trees, grinding stumps, and planting 4 new small trees (approximately 4-5 feet tall). However, the job was scheduled across five separate visits, which felt excessive for the scope of work. A tighter, more consolidated schedule would improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Care for Customer Property:
While the staff were friendly and professional in demeanor, extra caution is needed when working around customer property, especially lawns and underground systems. Though the contract states customers are responsible for any sprinkler damage, I believe more proactive care and awareness are necessary. In my case, sprinkler lines and communication wires were cut, and the lawn was significantly damaged by the stump grinding equipment. Staffs may benefit from additional training on site awareness and minimizing collateral damage.
Tree Identification and Expertise:
There was some confusion regarding the trees to be planted. We asked specifically for the name of tree that had previously existed on our lot which we wanted for new planting, and were told it was Summer Wine Ninebark. However, when the new trees arrived, they were clearly a different species. Upon further research, we found that the correct name was actually Double Flowering Plum (Prunus triloba) in tree form. Accurate identification and communication would help avoid these kinds of mix-ups in the future.
Overall, I appreciate the effort and service provided, but hope these suggestions can help improve the experience for future customers.
