I live no near this place but as a local bar and I can see it's charm. I ordered a Gin Rickey and it looked dark after explaining twice to the bartender how to make it and it was absolutely awful because he made it with JB whisky and not Gin, whiskey, seltzer and lime juice with a fresh lime doesn't mix very well at all. My bartender miss heard me and corrected my drink with no problem. If I lived in the neighborhood I would probably be a regular.

My friends and I were attending a birthday party at the bar. We had a friend in town from Ireland so we wanted to talk with her but the music was so loud we had to yell to even hear each other. My friend asked if the music could be turned down a bit and one of the bartender's obliged. When the owner came back in he quickly turned back up the music. My friend politely asked the owner if he could turn is back down and that is when he started mocking her and saying "I can't hear you" and saying it is Friday night so let's party. Yes, it is your establishment and you are allowed to do what you want but I also have the ability to choose where I spend my money and I will NEVER step foot back into a place where the owner is messed up on drugs and alcohol and does not care about their patrons.

It kind of reminds me of a college bar type vibe, with the friendliest staff and loads of shots. A lot of bar games are played there and it's way more spacious compared to some of the smaller bars in the more "hipster" parts of town. It has a front bar area with smaller tables and bar space, a pool table hallway/walkway and then a back area with full back bar and larger tables. It's not super swanky, but a great sports/dive bar for all of your game-watching needs. Also, the pub/bar food is amazing! Love the Ruben rolls, jalapeno poppers, the wonton-fried mozzarella sticks, and there's something about the pizza and the light, flaky crust there that keeps us coming back for more. I've been there for quite a few Packers games - it's the perfect spot. They've got a "bladder buster" (usually this is free miller lite or bud lite until someone uses the bathroom) and fun traditions like playing "The Bears Still Suck" song during commercials and Todd and Carol (the owners) often Emcee and make funny comments over the game or sometimes host raffles for cool prizes based off the shots you buy (smart). Todd and Carol are an absolutely delight and are always treat you like family when you're there. Will definitely be back for many more future Packer games (and I don't even like sports!)

Ok let me get this straight, the dive bar doesn't have regular Makers Mark but they have the more expensive Makers Mark 46 OK. The game was playing on several TVs all over the bar which everything was into and it was not the packers playing. The sign on the wall had limited pizza options for food and all frozen I'm sure. Sundays are $3 mini pitchers of domestic beer which most people were having judging by how many were on the bar and the tip off to me asking if it was a special today. So after a couple of cocktails you may want some food to coat your stomach and yes they have bar food. It's cheap, greasy and will hit the spot after a couple libations. Nothing special but it's solid bar food. The staff is friendly and tries to get to know you and will call you by your first name and remember your drink.
