A classic WI establishment. It's the same as it was when I came here for the first time 10 years ago and the first time my dad came here 40 years ago (more or less). Fast service, fresh popcorn, and the best people watching in town. I like that this place attracts patrons of all ages and types, dedicated to staying til close for one of the famous stickers. Nothing particularly unique about the interiors, but it is a large space which is great on a Saturday night when you want to bring your wedding after-party here (have seen this done :)).

Great people, great beverages and amazingly reasonable prices for all the coolness you get!! And check this out: https://youtu.be/fuqy_Q6uu_I Charlie Berens and Miles from "You Betcha" did a super cool video on this place!! Check it out!! I happen to be a big fan of their comedy so obviously I gave this place a try and I'm thankful I did!! The bartenders here are friendly, cool, chill and make you feel like this yo' new living room. Thank you Charlie and Miles for recommending this fun and happinin' spot!!

I've lived in Milwaukee my whole life and had never been to Wolskis until this past weekend. Why? No good reason really - I assumed it was a yucky, gimmicky dive full of Jo-Cats chatches looking for "I Closed Wolskis" stickers. Friends, I was wrong. So wrong. First, the bar is actually really nice! Not a dive in the musty-carpet/smells-like-urinal-cake way at all. It's clean, comfortable and (at least on our visit) full of nice, normal people. Second, they make a good Brandy Old Fashioned. Third, it's cheap! Fourth, the staff is absolutely delightful! Finally, know that ya girl is old as hell and could never make it to bar close these days. BUT - my visit was on my birthday (see old as hell above) and they totally fronted me some if those coveted "I Closed Wolskis" stickers AND they gave me FREE UNDERWEAR. What kind of at gives you free underpants on your birthday? The BEST bar, duh.

Tons of fun! I've been here once before. Second time is the charm. A raging rainstorm came in so we drank our beers under the porch. A classic bar with staple beers. Cannot miss with this place!

No Old Style ? pikers..... but good to see the Packers back in the cellar, where they rightfully belong.

I'm a Chicago area guy visiting Milwaukee for the Labor Day weekend. Had an awesome dinner at Tauro (I also reviewed the restaurant) and walked 3 blocks to this bar with my wife and son. Our Son lives nearby in Tosa and brought us here after dinner. Super friendly bar tender and clientele. Free popcorn, like I really needed it after our dinner. Old school vibe and decor.

We had a great time at Wolski's! Shelly was our bartender and she was awesome. Being our first time in Milwaukee she gave us great recommendations and she was great company. Definitely our favorite bartender we had on our trip and we had a lot of good ones. Can't wait until we come back to town. Wolski's will definitely be our first stop.

Consistently busy over the years and for good reason. I've been here a few times and I've never been disappointed with the service or the food. It's a dark, cozy little restaurant bar but with so much character and history. Service is friendly and efficient. I love that the food I've ordered here has always exceeded my expectations with the seasonings and quality of ingredients used. Reasonably priced too! If you don't have a reservation, you may end up waiting for a table in the back area at a high top but it's a great opportunity to enjoy one of their great drinks in the meantime!

To make matters worse, we had not eaten anything substantial all day and had actually looked this restaurant up weeks before our trip while researching places to eat the infamous Wisconsin fish fry, so we were really looking forward to the experience. The experience started off poorly when our party was essentially scolded by the hostess for sitting at a table that apparently needed to be cleaned for the wait list. To make matters worse, the busser laughed and joked that we were "in trouble," to which I could only respond, "Sounds like it." Not exactly the welcoming atmosphere you'd hope for as a first time visitor. The fish fry was decent our tab came out to $150 for 5 people, but the service was absolutely subpar and our tip reflected that. We also had to send back two drink glasses because they were dirty one still had lipstick on it, and another had food stuck to the inside of the glass. Overall, this was a very disappointing dining experience. Between the unprofessional treatment, lackluster service, and cleanliness issues, I would not recommend stopping here. There are plenty of other restaurants worth trying instead.

It's for the inner spy in you. Mission impossible Burger with potato chips Burger was nicely flavored, nothing crazy to rave about but still yummy. Furtive Fish fry Bit salty, and breading completely detached from the fish. But still a good crunch and the fish was very well seasoned. Broccolini salad good, nice complement to the fish fry SpyPA Told this was an IPA from Lakefront, but didn't really have the kick of an IPA. Would not get it again. So food, pretty safe. If you're considering going to Duke's, don't bother. This place has completely hit rock bottom, and it's clear no one, especially the owner, gives a damn. The owner is unbelievably rude and has flat-out made it known in a conversation "I don't care whether you come here or not." The former owner could never. Why? Because the new owner's got other locations that funnel money into his pockets. So, your business means absolutely nothing to him. The atmosphere is nothing short of depressing. Whatever decorations once gave the place some semblance of life have been stripped away, leaving the bar looking like a rundown and that's given up on trying. No vibe, no energy, no crowd--seriously, there's hardly anyone there anymore, and who could blame them? It's painfully obvious that Duke's is circling the drain. The owner's apathy is contagious, and it shows in every detail. Even the bartenders hint that this place just isn't it anymore...ouch. The place is soulless, and it's a miracle the doors are still open at this point. There's zero excitement, no reason to ever set foot inside, and if you do, you'll regret wasting your time and money. Save yourself the disappointment and go anywhere else there are plenty of better options around the corner, or across the street.
