My wife just purchased our first home with the help of Nicola Speranta and her team. We had the best experience so I wanted to take some time write up a review. My mom was actually the person to find Nicola. She and my wife were out looking at homes for fun and happened to hear a New Zealand accent. My mom being from Australia was interested in finding out who this person was so she introduced herself and ended leaving with Nicola's business card. A month or so later, we were speaking and she implored me follow up with Nicola and see if she could help us on our first home buying journey. "New Zealander's are nice people you should give her a call," she said. I agreed, so later that day I spoke with Nicola and got the ball rolling. Over the next month or so my wife and I started to look at properties on our own. We wanted to get a better understanding of the market and narrow down the locations we were looking at. We just closed on the sale of our home in Monrovia at 5% over list price in a transaction where we went into contract just 7 days after listing. What is even more impressive, though, is the transformation that she made to our property. Nicola took over the listing from a previous broker who had done a poor job marketing the home and put very little effort into sprucing it up and preparing it for sale. Nicola came in with a clear plan on how we could transform the home in a short amount of time and at a reasonable cost. We had already moved out of the area so were reliant on Nicola to handle all the work to be done from design, finding contractors, staging, painting, etc... she and her team handled it all.
