While I have visited several, and always had a pretty good experience, Linda at RO SHAM BO is truly my favorite. She always makes me laugh, and today was no exception. I come away looking much better than when I went in. Like magic-grin. Happy and better is always a great combo. Pricing seems very fair to me (I think they could charge a lot more) and I always look forward to the appointment. I think a lot of men would feel a lot better about themselves if they were to allow a pro like Linda to cut their hair. I recommend her without reservation.

I have gotten maybe a handful of manicures and pedicures in my life, and even though I try to take care of my nails, I know they were rough. What a great experience! She made me feel comfortable and talked me through every step of the processes. I would absolutely go back to Be Cherished for Kadie. I also got my hair cut. It was a long overdue trim. I thoroughly enjoyed the scalp massage and the shampoo. My hair was cut exactly how I wanted it cut. However, I was expecting a blow dry for my $60 and I didn't get it, not even offered. Since it was my first time there, I thought maybe I was mistaken about the service. After I left, sure enough it says "cut & styling" on the website. Unless I misunderstand the meaning of "styling," make sure you get everything you think you are paying for, or at least ask! Don't make my same mistake.

First off, a nice sense of calm welcomed me from the melodic sounds of nature, as I walked up from the parking lot to the Spa doors. Then a second scent of renewed energy embraced me as entered the serene lobby. This was a very new experience for me to have my hair appointment at a full spa. It is like night and day. I met with Alexis and she made me feel so at ease. I told her my back was sore and she brought me a heated pillow. Alexis asked me what I was looking to get out of our session and she over exceeded my asks! She put the TLC back into my hair and helped me feel rejuvenated and myself again. My layers, curls, and texture are perfect! I'll be back in 6 weeks for color and cut. I'm looking forward to another fun and relaxing visit at the Blue Giraffe Spa and my new Hair Artist, Alexis!

I chose the service provider that had been there 30 years so I thought I would have no problems, but the colors is the exact opposite of what I showed her I wanted. I went in asking for a honey blonde warm balayage (left pic) what I got was almost platinum blonde (right). At the end of my visit, I asked for a blowout, she said "Oh of course, you have to end with a good blowout," then she got a curling iron and curled my hair. It's crazy I do not understand how this could happen, we watched videos of the warm golden blonde I wanted and she sounded like she totally understood and could pull that off, she could not. I wish salon professionals were professional enough to just say "That color isn't achievable for your hair/texture" or "We can't get you to that color all at once" or just say something honest. This also was a $369 service, so just not worth the money when you don't get what was discussed.
