After a simple phone call, we were given a sleep plan that my husband and I felt confident we could follow.

So our first initial appointment did not go well. I went in on August 7, 2023 for pulmonary breathing tests and was scheduled for another zoom call to hear the results today September 6, 2023 at 11:30 but the Dr did not call until 12:10pm. This office has issues unfortunately every time you call you get a machine that says not accepting any messages as the voice mail has not been set up I kept on calling as it was after 11:30 and still no call from the office. I am blown away as to how this office conducts business, Appointments are scheduled via phone but there is no urgency or consideration for the patients time or not even an apology whatsoever. I would give the office staff a 1 but the guy that took care of my breathing tests was wonderful and on time and was very detailed on what to expect so therefore giving a 3 star. Don't feel comfortable overall with this office and will be looking into possibly getting another referral.

He said he wants to repeat my sleep study but admitted they probably won't be able to get data from me due to my Delayed Sleep Phase Syndrome. Our daughter, would only fall asleep with us and was waking throughout the night. We were nervous about sleep training, but Jenni gave us a clear, science-based plan and the confidence to stick with it. In just a few days, the transformation was phenomenal. Olivia now falls asleep independently, sleeps in her crib for both naps and nighttime, connects her sleep cycles, and wakes up happy and well-rested. More importantly, Jenni didn't just tell us what to do, she explained why we were doing it, which made all the difference. She was always responsive, encouraging, and realistic. We never felt judged, and she prepared us for everything from travel and illness to future schedule changes so we feel confident moving forward on our own. Sleep training isn't always easy, but having an experienced coach guiding you through the process made it so much easier. It has truly been life-changing for our entire family. If you're on the fence, don't wait. We only wish we had called Jenni sooner. Thank you, Jenni, for helping our family get the gift of sleep back. We are incredibly grateful.

There are not enough stars on Google for Dr. Maryam Bakhtiyari. Truly…read more (FOR PEOPLE WHO DON'T LIKE TO READ, HERE IS MY QUICK REVIEW .... 100/10 recommend) For my folks who like context, keep reading. What makes this story so incredible is that it started completely by chance. We met at a restaurant when my son was about 6 years old, (he's 14 now) and somehow the conversation turned to his underbite. As a mother who ALSO grew up with a severe underbite, I immediately assumed he was headed down the same path I was... major jaw surgery at some point. I had surgery myself years ago, and let's just say it was not easy physically or emotionally. Dr. Bakhtiyari looked at me and confidently said something that completely changed the trajectory of my son's life: "If you bring him to me early enough, we can fix this without surgery." At the time, I honestly did not fully believe it. But WOW was she right. Now let me tell you... my son was probably one of her most difficult patients. I'm not exaggerating when I say I think he lost or broke EVERY bracket, retainer, rubber band, appliance... literally everything possible. Following directions? Not his strong suit. Yet somehow Dr. Bakhtiyari handled every setback with patience, kindness, grace, and humor. HER PATIENCE IS UNMATCHED. I genuinely do not know another doctor who could have stayed so calm and encouraging through the chaos we brought into that office. And beyond being brilliant at what she does, her spirit is just as beautiful as she is. Every visit felt warm, welcoming, and easy. The office staff are also some of the kindest people you will ever meet. It honestly feels like walking into a place where people truly care. Fast forward a little... because we were spending so much time there anyway, I casually asked about doing a small cosmetic touch up for myself. My teeth looked completely "fine" but I just wanted a little vanity project. But then Dr. Bakhtiyari looked deeper. After reviewing my scans and X-rays, she discovered that the jaw surgery I had years ago had actually created serious airway issues. She started asking me questions: "Do you struggle with sleep?" "Fatigue?" "Memory issues?" "Constant yawning?" "Brain fog?" I answered yes to almost everything... but the scary part was that I thought all of that was NORMAL LIFE. I thought being exhausted all the time was just adulthood. I thought constantly losing my keys and forgetting things was just stress. And then she explained something that honestly changed my life: "Your brain is fighting for oxygen." I cannot explain the emotion of realizing that so many things I had accepted as "normal chaos" were actually connected to my airway and bite. We started down our path of manually reversing years of damage with braces and banding, my life literally started changing. I started sleeping better. My memory improved. The constant exhaustion lifted. 20+ pounds came off naturally. My face slimmed down. I stopped constantly losing things. I had energy again. My quality of life improved in ways I cannot even fully describe. And somehow through ALL of this, every single office visit was quick, painless, on time, organized, and stress free. Dr. Maryam Bakhtiyari is not just an orthodontist. She is life changing. She gave my son the opportunity to avoid surgery, and she unknowingly helped give ME my life back after a surgery that caused years of hidden issues. I get my braces off today, and honestly I'm emotional writing this because this journey has been so much bigger than teeth. But also, my teeth look gorgeous!!! If you are looking for an orthodontist for your child OR yourself... stop searching. You found her. With LOVE, RESPECT & GRATITUDE Janelle & Noah

I also remember her making me feel so much shame for having an overbite she told me she was going to make me beautiful and that hurt me a lot how much she insisted I was not pretty because of my overbite. I wouldn't ever take your children here or anyone here she ruined my smile and I have only felt teeth pain ever since leaving this office.

I have had nothing but bad experiences with this office…read more I had a sleep study and the technician was rude and inappropriate- I also have called MANY times with no return phone call. The office works with a third party supplier and on all occasions the office has not contacted the supplier in a reasonable amount of time and weeks have gone by while I waited for the office to return phone calls. Vanessa, in particular, has not returned calls and the office staff follows suit. I highly recommend if you want to work with a sleep doctor you contact one that is organized, knowledgeable and returns messages - I find their behavior to be, not only unprofessional but inept. I am sorry to report this, but it's been months since I first contacted them and two months later I still don't have my CPAP equipment sorted out due to their unprofessionalism.

I would avoid this office. As a patient, I should not have to correct their billing errors. When I…read morespecifically asked the office if they had a "prior authorization" from the insurance company to do the study. I would expect their answer to be truthful. The truthful answer was actually "your insurance company doesn't require a prior authorization." That is NOT what I was told. Anyone in the industry knows that response is a canned response from the insurance company, and if the office does not get some sort of auth number, someone is getting billed. Years later, I am getting billed by Dr. Mostafavi for about 5K. I have repeatedly called and asked for the prior authorization document. Just this week (9/25/2025), I learned that there is no prior auth document. The office should have known this routine ploy by the insurance company. I would NEVER have had the study if they had told me that they did not have an authorization number. Don't scam your patients; it is not right. If the office messes up on insurance preparations and doesn't communicate with the patient, then that error is on Dr. Mostafavi and his office.
