If I could give less than 1 star I would. Jenni June is a joke. Take your precious baby and RUN FAR AWAY from this woman. This woman has ZERO empathy which should be a required quality when working with post-partum women, babies, and new mothers. Her advice was so rushed and incomplete that we went into the experience with completely incorrect expectations. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When I called her distraught and in need of support, she was so condescending and patronized me as if I was the one who had not listened to her and was just "too weak" to handle the process.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Her business model is awful; she does not know how to scale her business or time, so her consultation is incredibly rushed and misses many details because she has back-to-back calls and can't fit all of the info in. She cares more about making money than the well-being of the families she serves. Classic LA money-hungry, fame-hungry "professional." [[HIGHLIGHT]]When I accused her of giving us incomplete info, she gaslit me, saying I was just "sleep deprived" and not in my right state of mind and that I was misremembering.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] However, I recorded our entire meeting in a voice memo on my phone and was able to go back and listen to confirm that she had omitted so much information. Additionally, so much of her instruction was not only questionable but dangerous. Insisting that our 4-month-old did not need to feed at night anymore and that he was ready to start solids. After several other consults with sleep professionals and pediatricians, I confirmed this advice was insane and unsafe. My son was small and continued to eat once a night until he was 8 months old. Also, food before the age of 6 months is DANGEROUS because they are not developmentally ready (some exceptions here but it is rare.) Any average pediatrician will tell you this. Jenni is a snake-oil salesperson and somehow manages to convince mothers to not listen to their instincts at all and turn bedtime into a robotic exchange completely devoid of tenderness and connection. ONE MORE THING - after lots of money and time and finding a truly excellent sleep specialist, it is clear that babies are NOT READY to be sleep trained before 6 months. Multiple peer-reviewed sources confirmed this. Cry it out works but the baby must be developmentally READY for it to stick, otherwise, it's just torture because they cannot "learn" the skill at such a young age. I was shocked and disappointed by what this Jenni told me by phone in her rushed 15 minute consult. This is why she gets 1 star from me. She scares you into thinking you are "sleep depriving your baby if he wakes at night" and that their digestion would be compromised for drinking so much milk at night.
